Dreame P10 Pro: The Best Xiaomi Stick Vacuum Cleaner Under $150

Hello, readers! This review will examine one of the best upright vacuums under $200. It's the Dreame P10 Pro, which went on sale in the fall of 2021. This vacuum boasts a premium design. Its body is white and gold, making it look very stylish. Additionally, the Dreame P10 Pro features an informative display and a basic set of attachments. Speaking of power, it's quite standard, reaching 130 watts in maximum mode. Below, I'll take a detailed look and test the Dreame P10 Pro, after which I'll share my opinion on whether this cordless vacuum is worth buying for those with a budget of under $150. The purchase link is at the end of the review. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The vacuum cleaner and all accessories are compactly packaged in a branded box like this:
It contains:
- Main unit with dust collector.
- Extension tube.
- Basic nozzle for cleaning floor coverings.
- Nozzle for cleaning upholstered furniture and mattresses.
- Crevice nozzle.
- Charger.
- Operating instructions translated into Russian.
It's important to note that the main box doesn't include a wall mount for the vacuum cleaner. However, I received this floor mount for the vacuum cleaner itself and the included attachments:
According to the seller, this holder will go on sale around January 2022. The price is not yet known.
Appearance
Now let's take a look at the Dreame P10 Pro's design. It's worth noting right away that it looks truly prestigious, and most importantly, the plastic is very high-quality. The material is pleasant to the touch, and there are no squeaks, creaks, or paint runs, as is often the case with budget upright vacuum cleaners.
Let's start our review with the main unit. The LED display on the end shows the operating mode, remaining battery life, and service messages, such as when the main brush is blocked.
The vacuum cleaner is started by pressing the trigger button on the handle. The display features two buttons: a lock button, eliminating the need to hold the trigger, and a mode switch. There are three modes in total.
The removable battery is a plus. The charger port is located under the handle. The air vents are directed toward the sides, preventing the vacuum from blowing air in your face while cleaning.
The dust container is easily removed with the press of a button on the end. The bottom compartment also opens with the press of a button. Inside, there's a HEPA filter and a cyclone filter with a mesh filter. It's also worth noting that the main unit also houses a pre-motor filter. So, this vacuum cleaner has a good filtration system, and all filters are washable, as the manufacturer states.
The Dreame P10 Pro is very easy to assemble. All attachments and the extension tube are equipped with mechanical locking buttons. Here's what the vacuum cleaner looks like assembled:
Let's move on to a review of the attachments. There are three in the set.
The main nozzle is better suited for cleaning hard floors, as it has a fluffy roller inside. However, the roller doesn't block the suction opening, which is located outside of it, so you can safely assume that this cordless vacuum cleaner will handle large debris without the roller becoming blocked.
A side-mounted locking mechanism allows for easy removal and maintenance of the roller. A big plus is that you don't need to use extraneous objects like a flat-head screwdriver or coin to adjust the locking mechanism.
The upholstery cleaning attachment has exactly this type of brush lock. The turbo brush itself is bristled and of standard design.
The crevice tool also features a brush positioner. The brush can be retracted or extended in front of the suction opening, as needed.
There are no complaints about the Dreame P10 Pro's build quality. The vacuum cleaner is very ergonomic.
Technical specifications
Key features of the Dreame P10 Pro, as stated by the manufacturer:
- Power consumption 410 W.
- Suction power up to 130 aW (22 kPa).
- Li-Ion battery 2500 mAh.
- Dust collector capacity is 500 ml.
- Operating time up to 60 minutes in minimum power mode.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.9 kg.
- Noise level 73-82 dB.
It's worth noting that the main unit weighs 1,645 grams, the extension tube weighs 298 grams, and the main brush weighs 677 grams. Accordingly, the fully assembled vacuum cleaner weighs approximately 2.6 kg, which is quite standard for an upright vacuum cleaner. However, the minimally assembled version with the crevice tool weighs approximately 1,751 grams.
The noise level at minimum power is around 71 dB, in standard mode it reaches 75 dB, and at maximum power it's around 80 dB. This is quite standard for cordless vacuum cleaners with average suction power.
In terms of specification differences from the Dreame P10, the simplified model has a smaller 2000 mAh battery, resulting in less suction power (100 aW or 20 kPa), and a reduced runtime of 50 minutes on minimum power. It's also worth noting that the basic package doesn't include an upholstery cleaning attachment. However, the price is a couple of thousand rubles lower. This may be a deciding factor for some.
Testing
Well, I'll run a few important tests to understand how well the Dreame P10 Pro performs its main task.
Opening hours
First, let's check the vacuum's battery life at maximum power. It lasted exactly 10.5 minutes. This is a fairly standard figure. Even at maximum power, it's enough to vacuum a one- or two-bedroom apartment.
Suction power
The Dreame P10 Pro's actual suction power was impressive. It effortlessly sucks debris out of crevices up to 10 mm deep, which is more than sufficient for household cleaning and even carpet cleaning.
Quality of waste collection
The vacuum cleaner picks up various types of debris from laminate flooring well. It doesn't leave debris along walls or in corners. There are no blind spots, which is a plus.
The same debris was scattered on the carpet, and even with the hard-floor roller attachment, the Dreame P10 Pro cleaned the carpet thoroughly, leaving no debris behind. All debris was collected in the dust bin, and the brush bar barely picked up any pet hair. The test was passed successfully.
Using the attachments from the kit
I'll also tell you about the included attachments. They not only allow you to thoroughly clean furniture or car interiors, but also hard-to-reach areas. For example, this vacuum cleaner can be used to vacuum up cobwebs from the ceiling.
The attachments are easy to use and do their main job well.
Let's sum it up
The Dreame P10 Pro has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. Personally, it's the best upright vacuum cleaner under $150 in 2021, compared to other devices in this price range I've reviewed.
I liked the following:
- It picks up dirt efficiently on hard surfaces. It also performs well on carpets, but a replaceable bristle roller would be fantastic!
- Stylish design.
- Good filtration system.
- Removable battery.
- The presence of a display on the body.
- Ergonomic design of the main unit and attachments.
- Comfortable one-handed control of the vacuum cleaner.
- Convenient storage on a floor holder.
This vacuum cleaner has no critical flaws, but there are a few comments. Namely:
- There is no replacement roller for cleaning carpets.
- Charging on a wall mount is not provided.
- There is no wall mount in the box.
Overall, I believe the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. If you're looking for an affordable upright vacuum for hard floors, definitely consider this unit. Especially during sales, when the price drops by several thousand.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!

Hello, how is this model different from the Dreame V10 Pro? And which one is better?
At least the P10 pro has a removable battery, which is not available for purchase anywhere.
