BBK BV3521

Chinese company BBK has developed a new model of the BV3521 robotic cleaning assistant. This robotic vacuum cleaner effectively removes debris and dust from laminate and tile floors. Its intelligent programs and features allow it to clean even when the user is absent. An additional advantage is its wet cleaning capability. The technical specifications of the BBK BV3521, along with an overview of its features and advantages, are provided in this article.
Equipment
The BBK robot vacuum cleaner kit includes the following items:
- The robot itself.
- Instructions for use.
- Power adapter.
- Accessories for device care.
- Docking station for charging the battery.
- Remote control.
- Two pairs of side brushes.
- Battery.
- Wet cleaning unit.
- HEPA filter.
- Wet wiping cloth.
- Warranty card.
With these components, the robot vacuum cleaner can operate for up to an hour and a half on a single battery charge.
Appearance
The manufacturer has developed a device with a unique yet understated design. The robot is available in two main colors: black and white. Two models also feature an additional blue color, which frames the outline of the dust bin lid on the front panel, the start button, and the perimeter of the device. The dust bin consists of a deep-cleaning filter, a HEPA filter, and the dust container itself.
The company logo is located on the front panel, specifically on the dust bin lid. The robot vacuum cleaner does not have a touchscreen. A high-quality rubber bumper runs along the entire perimeter of the vacuum cleaner.
A closer inspection revealed that the robot vacuum cleaner has a guide roller on the bottom, located at the front of the body. This allows the robot to easily turn. Behind it is the battery compartment, and the side brushes are attached to the sides. Near the roller are the contacts through which the BBK BV3521 is charged at the base. In the center is the suction port and the mounting platform for the wet cleaning unit. The two main wheels are located on the sides.

Functional capabilities
The BBK BV3521 can operate in six modes. This feature improves the quality and efficiency of operation. A review of the model revealed the following modes:
- Zigzag movement. This feature is useful when cleaning a large area and there are few obstacles in the room.
- Local. In this mode, the robot vacuum cleaner increases its suction power and noise level as it intensively cleans only a limited area that requires thorough cleaning.
- Autonomous operation. In this mode, the robot independently determines its trajectory depending on the level of contamination of the entire room or specific areas.
- Cleaning corners and areas along walls. When this mode is activated, the BBK BV3521 immediately follows a path along obstacles and walls.
- Scheduled cleaning. The robot vacuum cleaner can be programmed for a convenient time and day.
- Wet cleaning. This function requires the attachment of the special unit included in the kit.
The robot vacuum cleaner is controlled via a remote control, as there are no buttons on the device's body. It has power-on and battery-level indicators. A unique feature is its ability to automatically return to the base to recharge and then resume work from where it left off. As mentioned above, the dust bin is easily accessible, located under a cover on the top.
The BBK BV3521's dimensions aren't among the smallest or most compact, but despite this, the robot can easily get under low furniture to clean the floor.
Operating instructions
The user manual included with the unit provides detailed instructions on how to start the unit, operating instructions, and what to do if minor damage occurs or the robot vacuum stops working. It also includes an overview of all the unit's modes and features, as well as care instructions. If you follow all the tips and recommendations, your robot vacuum will provide many years of service.

Advantages and disadvantages
The BBK BV3521 model has its own features and advantages that set it apart from its peers. Key features include:
- The presence of highly sensitive sensors allows the robot vacuum cleaner to move freely and easily around the room.
- The ability to program a convenient cleaning mode and schedule even when the owner is not in the apartment or house.
- The strict and original appearance of the BBK BV3521 model.
- Automatic return of the device to the base for recharging and continuation of cleaning from the interrupted spot.
- Availability of a charging base. Not all robots in this price range are equipped with an automatic charging station.
Regarding shortcomings, we found no significant ones, given the relatively low price (average $75). Some customers note the small dust and dirt bin. However, this minor drawback doesn't affect cleaning performance. Simply empty the dust bin after each use. This robot vacuum cleaner is an excellent assistant at an affordable price and with good functionality. This concludes our review of the BBK BV3521.

It's all nonsense that it returns to the base. If the battery starts to die, it will turn off where it was. It doesn't map the rooms, and it doesn't have a lidar to return to the base from other rooms! Plus, the movement algorithm is very strange; it's good enough for cleaning one room!
