Ecovacs DeeBot D76

The DeeBot D76 robot vacuum cleaner is designed for dry cleaning of all types of flooring in any room. This model's key feature is its self-cleaning base and a separate handheld vacuum cleaner, allowing for additional manual cleaning. This robot stands out from many other robotics devices on the market, so we recommend taking the time to familiarize yourself with its specifications and features, which are outlined in our Ecovacs DeeBot D76 review.
Equipment
The robot vacuum cleaner is delivered in a branded box with a plastic handle. The robot's package is unusual, as the DeeBot D76 is not just a vacuum cleaner with automated operation, but a true robotic system with manual cleaning capabilities when needed. The kit includes:
- Robot vacuum cleaner with battery and dust collector.
- Charging station with self-cleaning dust collector function.
- Infrared remote control with two batteries.
- Virtual wall with two batteries.
- Magnetic tape limiter with a special device for its installation.
- A pair of spare side brushes.
- Main brush cleaning tool.
- Brush for cleaning walls and ceilings.
- 2 in 1 brush.
- Mechanical part for manual mode as a cyclonic vacuum cleaner.
- Hose.
- Belt and mask for easy carrying of the device.
- Two telescopic tubes, three nozzles.
- Separate narrow nozzle.
- Case for storing additional accessories for a vacuum cleaner.
- User manual.
The robot's components are shown in the photo:
Appearance
Viewed from above, the DeeBot D76 autonomous robot has a round shape, but its overall shape resembles a flattened cylinder. The body is made of ABS plastic and is cherry red. The robot vacuum cleaner has a solid, presentable appearance. While not the smallest among robotic cleaners on the market, its compact dimensions allow it to fit under most furniture and clean there. Let's take a look at the features of the DeeBot D76 main and portable units.
The top of the main robot vacuum cleaner houses an LCD display, control buttons, an IR receiver, and a dust bin compartment with a button to open it. This compartment also houses an SD memory card, protected by a dust cover, dust sensors, a volume control button, a charging port, and an emergency alarm.
The side of the device contains a bumper with soft pads, a charging base electrode, a suction hole, and obstacle sensors.
The lower section features two suspended drive wheels, a front wheel with circular rotation, a pair of side brushes, a central turbo brush with a rubber scraper, a battery, a power switch, a fuse holder, and height difference sensors.
When reviewing a portable vacuum cleaner for hand-held cleaning, we see the body itself with a switch, a power cord with clips for its attachment, a button for releasing the dust container, a hose connector, a place for attaching a belt, and a handle.

Functional capabilities
The autonomous robot vacuum cleaner cleans floors in the following modes:
- Automatic. In this mode, the DeeBot D76 moves in a straight line and turns only when it encounters an obstacle. It cleans the area in this manner until the battery is completely discharged. Since the device is equipped with dust sensors, when it detects a dust accumulation, it will move in a fan-shaped pattern (for small accumulations) or a spiral pattern (for large accumulations).
- Contour cleaning: the robot vacuum cleans debris along detected objects and furniture, along walls, and in corners. Average run time: 25 minutes.
- Spot Cleaning: In this mode, DeeBot moves from the inner center of the spiral and focuses on cleaning a specific area no larger than 1.2 meters in diameter. It's used when cleaning heavily soiled areas. Average runtime is 2 minutes under normal conditions. If it detects any obstacles, the robot moves slightly to the side to avoid them, then returns to its original cleaning mode, but it takes slightly longer.
- Intensive Cleaning: This mode is similar to the Automatic mode due to the robotic vacuum cleaner's identical cleaning path. The difference is that it offers better cleaning results on heavily soiled indoor floors.
- Demo mode: the device performs some functions automatically, demonstrating a range of capabilities, and then notifies the user via a voice message about the need to join its further work.
In Return to Charging Mode, the robot vacuum cleaner returns to the base station, where upon contact, it automatically begins emptying the dust bin. Dirt is sucked from the autonomous robot vacuum's dust bin into the larger dust bin on the base station. This process takes approximately ten seconds.
It should be noted that the robot vacuum cleaner has the ability to program the operating time using a timer.
A portable vacuum cleaner is used for manual cleaning of areas where the automated assistant can't reach. It comes with a variety of useful accessories to ensure maximum cleanliness in your home or office.
Operating instructions
A Russian-language user manual is included with the DeeBot robotic system. It provides a detailed explanation of the key points regarding the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and storage of the device, as well as a description of its design features and parameters.
