Functional capabilities
The DeeBot D58 robot vacuum cleaner has four main operating modes:
- "Automatic Cleaning." The basic movement algorithm is as follows: the robot moves in a straight line, turning when it encounters obstacles. Thanks to dust sensors, when it detects a large accumulation of dust on the floor, the device begins moving in a fan-shaped or spiral pattern. Most often, the vacuum cleaner begins moving in a spiral pattern when it detects a large number of large particles, and a fan-shaped pattern when it detects a few small particles. This mode ensures the greatest coverage of the surface being cleaned. The average runtime is 45 minutes.
- "Perimeter Mode." DeeBot D58 Route Overview: The robot vacuum cleaner cleans along large objects and walls, changing direction when it encounters an obstacle. This mode is generally designed for cleaning corners near walls, sofas, tables, and other objects that might otherwise be missed during automatic cleaning. Average cleaning time: 25 minutes.
- "Specific Spot Cleaning" (Local). In this mode, the DeeBot D58 vacuum cleaner moves in a spiral from the center, focusing on cleaning a specific area of the room with a diameter of no more than 1.2 meters. It's used to clean stains and the dirtiest spots in the room. Average cleaning time is 6 minutes. If an obstacle is detected, the device moves slightly, then automatically returns to its previous cleaning mode.
- "Deep Cleaning." This mode is similar to the automatic mode, with a similar movement algorithm. Since the device's suction power is quite high, this mode allows for the most thorough cleaning of the floor.
When the battery is low, the robot begins searching for the charging base and heads there to recharge. When docked and charging, the green indicator lights up. The robot vacuum cleaner's runtime can be programmed using a built-in timer. You can set a one-time runtime or schedule daily cleaning.

Advantages and disadvantages
Let's highlight the main advantages of the DeeBot D58 robot vacuum cleaner:
- Small dimensions ensure high maneuverability and cross-country ability.
- A rich basic kit, including a remote control, a virtual wall, and a magnetic tape.
- Automatic installation on the charger.
- Impressive cleaning area.
- Different operating modes.
- The presence of a soft bumper, obstacle sensors, and floor sensors for better orientation in space.
- Dust sensors that allow you to identify the dirtiest places in the room.
- Large dust collector capacity.
- Timer, set the cleaning time once, or set it for every day.
Considering the price, this is a fairly robust list of advantages. Among the robot vacuum's drawbacks are the brushes that wear out quickly and the difficulty of moving the device on carpets. Furthermore, it's worth noting that this model is generally outdated; even Ecovacs has released many updated robot vacuums that are worthy alternatives. This concludes our review of the Ecovacs Deebot D58.
