iClebo Pop

The iClebo Pop robot vacuum cleaner (YCR-M05) is an indispensable cleaning assistant. This model is manufactured by the Korean company Yujin Robot. Its compact size makes it easy to clean hard-to-reach places, such as under cabinets or sofas. The iClebo Pop is a modified model. ArteTheir main difference is the lack of a camera, which accounts for the lower price. However, this modification has had a negative impact on the device's performance, as we'll discuss below. Below is a detailed review of the iClebo Pop, including its technical specifications and functionality.

Appearance
The iClebo Pop's appearance is pleasingly compact and stylish. The robot vacuum cleaner has a nearly round shape, and the bottom edges are beveled to allow it to easily navigate obstacles.
The top of the case is covered with laminated plastic. The lid design is available in three variants: the vibrant Lemon (YCR-M05-P2), the mysterious Magic (YCR-M05-P3), and the understated Phantom.
The top panel contains touch-sensitive control buttons and an IR receiver. The side panels, bottom, and bumper are made of matte, durable plastic. The bumper at the front of the robot features a special ridge. This ridge is the highest part of the robot's design, and it allows the iClebo Pop vacuum cleaner to determine the height of obstacles it can climb under.
The dust container attaches to the back, and on the right is the power port with the robot vacuum's on/off button. A closer look at the bottom reveals the side brush, two contact pads, the wheels, and the transparent dust container housing.
The iClebo Pop robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with various sensors that monitor the room, facilitate its navigation, and warn of potential obstacles. These include height sensors, obstacle proximity sensors, and home base sensors. These IR sensors are located on the bumper.

Functional capabilities
The iClebo Pop robot vacuum cleaner operates in three modes. These modes include a local mode, which intensively cleans a specific area using a spiral motion. There's also an automatic mode, which has a time limit and the vacuum cleaner moves in a random pattern. Finally, there's a maximum mode, which allows the iClebo to clean the entire accessible area until the battery is completely discharged.
There's also a manual mode, which is controlled by a remote control. This mode only activates after the automatic mode is activated. If this isn't done, the robot will move around but not clean.
A look at the bottom reveals a front brush, which sweeps all debris toward the center of the unit. The main brush and rubber scraper are located in the center, working together to push debris into the dust bin. Larger and heavier particles are automatically collected, while lighter particles are sucked into a reservoir containing a dual-layer filter.
To increase cleaning efficiency, you can attach a microfiber cloth behind the main brush. It is attached to a special bar using Velcro, as shown in the photo below:
The cloth can be moistened. The iClebo Pop robot vacuum cleaner with this bar operates in Climb mode (high terrain) disabled. This is because in this mode, the robot can catch on obstacles with its nozzle. A special sensor detects this obstacle and signals a change in height.
The dust container is easy to empty. Simply remove the lid, take out the dust container, and empty it. Another way to empty the dust is to flip the squeegee open and shake out the debris through the resulting gap. However, this option isn't as convenient as the first. Also, avoid bending the squeegee locking mechanism too much, as this could loosen it.
Operating instructions
After purchasing a robot vacuum cleaner, we strongly recommend carefully reading the user manual. This will prevent improper maintenance, extending its lifespan and ensuring the most effective cleaning.

Advantages and disadvantages
The iClebo Pop robot vacuum cleaner features several design features that significantly simplify its operation. For example, the side brush has flexible wires in addition to bristles, and the dust container's lid is located on top, making it easy to clean, as the fan is housed within the robot.
Manufacturers have worked hard to ensure the longevity of every component. For example, the iClebo Pop features brushes mounted on a rubber base. The bristles emerge from this base at an angle. This ensures the brushes last longer, eliminating the need to buy new brushes every month.
The iClebo Pop model has the following key advantages:
- availability of remote control;
- The robot vacuum cleaner has a compact, low-profile body;
- it is possible to wet wipe the floor using napkins;
- acceptable quality of cleaning;
- Reliable manufacturer, warranty and service available.
On the downside, since the vacuum cleaner doesn't have a camera, cleaning time is significantly longer than with models with a camera. Furthermore, its movements are erratic, with no real spatial orientation.
Other downsides we found:
- no control via smartphone;
- The microfiber is small in size, the quality of wiping the floor is below average, and the cloth must be wetted by hand;
- there is no movement limiter.
Considering that the price of iClebo Pop in 2019 is on average $200, for that kind of money you can choose a robot vacuum cleaner With full wet cleaning, more diverse features, and even mapping. A few years ago, this model was the top of its class, but now there are much more effective alternatives.
