iLife A4s

The iLife A4s is a budget-friendly robot vacuum cleaner for daily dry cleaning of all types of flooring, removing accumulated debris, dirt, dust, hair, and pet hair. This robot is similar to Chuwi's previous product, the iLife A4However, the old model is currently no longer available, and dealers recommend purchasing the new robot. Its distinctive features include an approximately 10-minute longer runtime and a mini-room mode. Today, we'll review the iLife A4s's features, specifications, and functionality.
Equipment
Like most iLife robots, the A4s comes with a variety of useful accessories and consumables. These include:
- The robot vacuum cleaner itself.
- Docking station.
- Power unit.
- Remote control with two batteries.
- Additional side brushes.
- Spare wipes and HEPA filter.
- Brush for cleaning the dust collector and body parts.
- Operating instructions.
All components are carefully packed in a branded box with a handle, and are delivered in an additional protective box made of thicker corrugated cardboard.
Design
The iLife A4s robot vacuum cleaner has a modern, presentable appearance. It's made of plastic, though you wouldn't know it at first glance, as it has a metallic-looking cover on the top. Viewing the robot from above, we see no unnecessary elements, only the dust container compartment lid and a single button for automatic operation. On the side is a protective bumper with obstacle sensors, a port for the power adapter and manual charger, and an on/off button.
Turning the robot vacuum over reveals two powerful drive wheels, a front roller for turning, a pair of side brushes, a central turbo brush, and anti-fall sensors. Also visible is the dust collector compartment with a three-stage filtration system (a fine mesh for coarse cleaning, a foam layer for protection against dust and moisture, and fine filters).

Functional capabilities
The iLife A4s robot vacuum cleaner is capable of dry cleaning floor coverings in the following modes:
- Automatic is the primary mode, in which the robot cleans the entire available area until the battery is depleted, automatically determining the optimal movement pattern for efficient energy use. After finishing its work, the robot automatically returns to the charging station.
- Corner cleaning mode – the robot vacuum cleaner moves along walls and furniture, cleaning debris around the perimeter of rooms and in corners.
- Spot cleaning of the dirtiest area of the room – in this case, the iLife A4s thoroughly cleans a small area of the room, moving in a spiral pattern in a circle with a radius of no more than one meter. Installation is manual.
- Turbo mode – the device has the ability to regulate suction power and increase it to maximum. This is necessary for more effective cleaning of carpets and in time-sensitive situations.
- The iLife A4s model has a mini-room mode, which allows cleaning small spaces or one specific room.
The robot vacuum cleaner can be controlled manually using the remote control. It can also be programmed to run automatically based on time and days of the week.
The robot navigates its environment thanks to an intelligent system based on a large number of infrared obstacle and elevation sensors. A protective mechanical bumper prevents the robot from colliding with furniture.
As the test showed, thanks to the presence of a turbo brush and high suction power, the robot vacuum cleaner cleans not only smooth floors but also carpets well.
Operating instructions
A paper user manual is included with the iLife A4s robotic vacuum cleaner. This manual describes the basic operation and maintenance of the product, as well as its features and specifications. It also explains the causes and troubleshooting steps for any malfunctions.
Since there are no significant differences in operation, we suggest downloading the operating instructions for the A4 model in Russian: iLife A4 manual.
