Below, I'll thoroughly test the Dreame R10S Aqua, highlight its pros and cons based on the test results, and then express my opinion on the vacuum cleaner. So, let's get started!

Appearance
Now let's take a look at the Dreame R10S Aqua's design. Let's start with the main unit, which is finished in ivory. It houses a 350-watt motor, generating up to 120 air watts of suction.
The removable battery is a plus. The handle has a charging port. The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing the button located under your thumb.
All information is displayed on an informative display. Also located next to the display are two mechanical control buttons: a mode switch and a power lock. Three power modes are available: Eco, Medium, and Turbo.
The dust container is emptied by pressing a button that opens the bottom. It can also be completely detached from the main unit for easy maintenance, which is very convenient. The main unit itself contains a HEPA filter. The vacuum cleaner's flask houses a fabric filter and a multi-cyclone with a mesh screen. The dust container holds 600 ml.
Let's take a look at the included attachments. The main floor nozzle features a swivel joint, a front curtain opening mechanism for removing large debris, and two illumination lights. The roller can be easily removed from the side without tools. The versatile design—short, elastic, V-shaped inserts—proven for picking up debris on both hard floors and carpets. Behind the roller, you'll find a small comb for detangling hair and fur.
The mopping attachment is similar to the previously released Dreame R10 Pro Aqua and Dreame R20 Aqua. The attachment's reservoir holds up to 200 ml of water. Two water flow levels allow you to choose the optimal level for different floor types. The pads rotate in opposite directions, effectively scrubbing away dirt and stains. A suction hole is located between the pads to collect light debris while mopping. The suction is minimal. The pads are secured with Velcro. Water is supplied to the pads through special dispensers.
The furniture and mattress cleaning tool features a silicone turbo brush. The crevice tool is simple in design, just like the familiar retractable bristle tool.
Here's what the Dreame R10S Aqua looks like assembled:
The pros and cons of this design will be highlighted in the final analysis. Let's move on!
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the vacuum cleaner, as declared by the manufacturer:
- Power consumption: 350 W.
- Suction power up to 120 aW.
- Li-Ion battery 2500 mAh.
- Dust collector 600 ml.
- Water tank 200 ml.
- Operating time up to 70 min.
- Noise level 63-77.5 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.72 kg.
I personally tested the noise level and found it to be between 74.5 and 77.5 dB, depending on the selected operating mode. With the floor polisher attachment, the noise level is around 63-65 dB. This vacuum cleaner has an average noise level.
As for weight, the main unit weighs 1,644 grams, the extension tube weighs 283 grams, and the main nozzle weighs 788 grams. The complete vacuum weighs 2,715 grams. This is a fairly standard weight for an upright vacuum. The center of gravity is strategically positioned low, preventing hand fatigue during use.
Testing
A detailed video review with all tests has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the Dreame R10S Aqua's battery life in Turbo mode with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed 8.5 minutes of runtime, which is slightly shorter than the standard runtime of 10-12 minutes for cordless upright vacuums.
Suction power
In terms of suction power, the Dreame R10S Aqua easily cleaned crevices up to 10 and even 20 mm deep in Eco mode. At medium power, it successfully cleaned a 25 mm gap and partially reached the 30 mm mark. And at maximum power, it cleaned a 35 mm gap well. So, in reality, this vacuum cleaner has increased power, and even at medium power, it is capable of effectively picking up debris.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well the Dreame R10S Aqua picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This machine performed well. There are no blind spots in the corners, and the roller comes out clean after picking up debris. Test successful!
Carpet cleaning
When it comes to dust collection on carpets, the vacuum cleaner cleans both low- and medium-pile carpets extremely well. It also passed that test!
Anti-tangle Hair Protection
I also tested how the combs were detangling the roller. I laid out hair of varying lengths on the floor and vacuumed it up. We can see that the roller is clean, and the combs are doing their job well!
Removing stains
I also tested the effectiveness of the floor polisher attachment. It even removed stubborn stains like dried-on coffee and sauce stains. It took about 3 minutes. By comparison, specialized upright washing vacuum cleaners complete the same task in an average of 5 minutes. However, washing vacuum cleaners are, of course, much more effective in this regard, as they self-clean during use and leave no streaks.
With this floor-polishing attachment, the cloths become clogged with dirt and rub it across the floor. You'll need to remove them several times during cleaning, wash them, and then replace them.
However, if the floor isn't "neglected," I think that with regular cleaning, washing these wipes a couple of times per cleaning session will be sufficient. I think for some, this solution is still optimal and more convenient than using dedicated wet/dry vacuum cleaners.
Using additional attachments
It's also worth noting that the included attachments allow you to clean a sofa, areas the main attachment can't reach, and even car interiors. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, a few words about cleaning the dust bin. It's quite simple: press a button, and debris falls out through the bottom. However, if hair and fur decide to go on strike and get stuck in the bin, don't worry. The dust bin can be completely removed, the filtration system removed, and debris thoroughly shaken out. It's all done effortlessly and very conveniently.
Personal opinion
The Dreame R10S Aqua upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. Like all Dreame products, it left a largely positive impression. Based on my experience with it and testing, I can highlight the following pros and cons.
I liked the following:
- In reality, high suction power.
- High-quality waste collection on any surface.
- The roller protection system against hair and fur getting tangled is well implemented.
- Illumination of the cleaning area.
- The included mop attachment allows for wet cleaning, even removing stubborn stains.
- Informative display on the body.
- Removable battery.
- Removable dust container. Easy to empty and keep the flask clean.
- Stylish design.
- Ergonomic design. The vacuum cleaner is convenient to use with one hand.
- High quality assembly.
- Good filtration system.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Among the disadvantages I would highlight:
- Battery life at maximum power is less than standard.
- There is no wireless charging on the wall mount.
- The holder doesn't accommodate all the included attachments. It's unclear where to put the rest.
- There is no vertical parking so that you can park the vacuum cleaner while cleaning and focus on other things.
Well, it’s not really a drawback, but rather an important difference from older models – there is no automatic power increase mode when detecting dirt and carpets.
Ultimately, I think the Dreame R10S Aqua does its job well. It's convenient, efficient, and powerful. If you're looking for a wet and dry upright vacuum, this model is worth considering, especially if the price drops below $250, which often happens during sales.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
