Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet: POWERFUL cordless vacuum cleaner with a wet cleaning attachment

This review will examine a rather interesting upright vacuum cleaner from the Spanish company Cecotec. The model is called the Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet. This vacuum boasts a powerful 600-watt motor, a comprehensive set of attachments, and even a wet mop attachment, allowing you to vacuum and mop your floors simultaneously. At around $300, it's priced at a premium level. Below, I'll thoroughly review and test the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet, after which I'll share my opinion on whether it's worth the money. Let's get started!

The vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:
It contains:
- Main block.
- Bendable extension tube.
- Another extension tube in the form of a flexible hose.
- Main attachment with lint roller.
- Wet cleaning nozzle with a microfiber cloth installed.

Yes, the package is extremely complete. It includes all possible attachments for various cleaning tasks. This is a major advantage of the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet.
Appearance
Now let's take a look at how this cordless upright vacuum cleaner works. We'll start with the main unit. The vacuum is turned on and off by pressing the trigger button. You don't need to hold it down, which is a plus. A conveniently located LED display on the end shows all the useful information. The display also features a mode selector button. There are four modes: minimum suction power, medium, maximum, and automatic. In this mode, the vacuum automatically adjusts the power level depending on the level of dirt and the type of flooring.
The vacuum cleaner's charging terminals are located on the bottom of the housing, allowing it to be charged using a wall-mounted mount. This is another advantage. It eliminates the need to manually connect the plug, although that option is available.
The battery is removable, lithium-ion, with a capacity of 3000 mAh.
At the end of the main unit, we see ventilation holes for air exhaust, facing outward. By turning the cover, the HEPA exhaust filter is removed for maintenance and replacement.
The dust container opens with the press of a button on the body. It features a HEPA filtration system, foam, mesh, and cyclone filters. Additionally, the container opens from the bottom for easy emptying. The container holds up to 600 ml of dry waste.
Overall, the main unit is ergonomic and well-designed, and there are no particular complaints about it.
Let's take a look at the included attachments. The main floor nozzle comes with a lint roller, which is better suited for cleaning hard floors. The roller is easily removed by releasing the latch; no additional tools are required. It can be replaced with a bristle-petal brush, which is better suited for cleaning carpets. The rollers are well-designed, and importantly, the suction hole is located outside the roller, allowing the vacuum cleaner to pick up even large debris.
This is what the wet cleaning nozzle looks like:
Water is poured from the top through a filler neck with a valve. The reservoir holds up to 300 ml of water. The wet cleaning nozzle is attached to the cleaning head by magnets. A button for dispensing water to the cloth is also located on the top. Apparently, a pump is installed inside, creating pressure, causing water to flow by gravity through three valves mounted underneath.
The cloth itself is made of microfiber and consists of two parts. One receives water, while the other, dry part of the cloth wipes away any remaining water from the floor. This isn't a unique solution, but it's certainly very convenient, and I'll show you how the vacuum cleaner performs in my tests later.
The upholstery cleaning attachment also features a motorized bristle-and-petal brush. It can be removed by turning the side lock. The build quality is good.
The rest of the attachments in the kit are standard, and frankly, their build quality is budget-friendly. However, some attachments have adjustable bristle positions, allowing you to use the brush when needed.
The connectors deserve special attention. There's a small connector that lets you adjust the nozzle's angle, allowing you to, for example, vacuum up the top of a cabinet. There's a flexible hose, making it easy to clean the inside of a car. And one of the highlights of the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet is the bendable extension wand. It lets you reach even the most difficult places, like under low furniture. It's very convenient!
Overall, I think you'll get the hang of using the attachments; the selection allows you to find the perfect one for your needs. Furthermore, some of the attachments can be conveniently stored on a wall holder.
Technical specifications
Key features of the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet:
| Power consumption | 600 W |
| Suction power | up to 200 AW |
| Battery | Li-Ion 3000 mAh |
| Battery life | up to 90 min in minimum power mode |
| Charging time | up to 120 min |

| Noise level | up to 88 dB |
As mentioned, this handheld vacuum cleaner boasts truly powerful suction and a capacious dust bin. I'd also like to highlight its very fast charging. However, its weight and noise level are higher than most similar models. It's worth noting that the main unit itself weighs 1,852 grams, the connecting tube 419 grams, and the main nozzle 777 grams. In total, the fully assembled vacuum weighs just over 3 kg (3,048 grams). It's indeed slightly heavier than other cordless vacuum cleaners, but I didn't notice it much during use. The weight is well distributed, and my hand doesn't get tired even after extended use.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel. I recommend watching the video:
Noise level
Let's move on to the tests. First, we'll check the noise level of the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet in different modes. At minimum power, the noise level is around 76 dB, in medium mode it rises to almost 80.5 dB, and at maximum power, the peak was 81.3 dB.
Yes, the vacuum cleaner is noisy, but it's also worth considering the high suction power, which leads to increased noise levels. However, the noise level turned out to be lower than the manufacturer's stated value.
Battery life
In maximum power mode, the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet ran for exactly 11 minutes at maximum power. When the battery charge dropped to 20%, the vacuum automatically switched to medium power, running for just over 4 minutes more. The total runtime was 15:10. That's a solid result!
Suction power
The Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet has very high suction power. Even on medium power, it was able to suck up debris from a 10 mm gap. I believe that in real-life household situations, you won't need to use the vacuum at maximum power, which will extend its battery life.
Quality of waste collection on laminate flooring
It's much more important to check how well this vacuum cleaner picks up various types of debris from the floor. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it easily picks up both small and large debris. There are no blind spots, and the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet is able to thoroughly clean corners and the area along baseboards.
The most important thing is that the brush doesn't get tangled in fur or hair; all debris falls straight into the dust collector. Test passed!
Quality of carpet cleaning
The same debris was scattered on the carpet, where I also sprinkled some sand. With the carpet brush, the 900 model cleans the carpet well even at medium power. At maximum power, the vacuum cleaner cleans the carpet very deeply. And again, the brush is clean after cleaning, and all the debris is tightly packed into the dust bin.
Simultaneous dry and wet cleaning
Here's a visual example of how the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet can vacuum and mop simultaneously. Just be sure to move the vacuum slowly over the debris so it can pick it up quickly and not soak it with the cloth.
The idea of the clip-on nozzle is truly convenient. You can vacuum and mop laminate or tile floors, and when you reach carpet, carefully detach the nozzle, vacuum the carpet, and then return to dry and wet mopping hard floors simultaneously.
Personal opinion
The Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll share my personal opinion on this vacuum cleaner. Here's what I liked:
- High suction power.
- Long battery life.
- Removable battery.
- The presence of an informative display on the body.
- Automatic power adjustment mode depending on the degree of contamination and type of floor covering.
- High quality waste collection on both hard surfaces and carpets.
- A wet cleaning attachment that allows you to vacuum and mop the floor at the same time.
- A wide range of attachments included.
- Charging on a wall holder.
As for the shortcomings, there are no such as such, but rather comments, namely:
- Increased noise level during operation.
- No vertical parking.
- The weight is higher than that of similar models, although it is not particularly noticeable.
In the end, in my opinion, the Cecotec Conga RockStar 900 Ultimate ErgoWet is definitely worth the money and deservedly entered the Best cordless vacuum cleaners of 2021! It's powerful, practical, and versatile. It does its job well and is certainly recommended.
Incidentally, an updated model called the Conga RockStar 1500 Ultimate ErgoWet will soon hit the market. This vacuum cleaner features an even more powerful motor, reaching 680 watts. The price should be roughly the same as its predecessor. Judging by the stated specifications, this will be one of the most powerful upright vacuums of the first half of 2022. I recommend taking a closer look at this model.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
