Below, I'll take a detailed look at and test the REDMOND RV-UR360, after which I'll share my opinion on whether it's worth buying. So, let's get started!

Appearance

Now let's take a look at the REDMOND RV-UR360's design. Let's start with the main unit. It's white and gray. A HEPA-13 filter is located at the end. Below the handle is a charging port. The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing the trigger. A trigger lock is also included, which is a plus.

The Turbo mode button and battery status indicator are located on the top of the body. The battery is conveniently located near the handle and is removable. An additional battery can be purchased for approximately $30 to extend the vacuum's runtime.

Another filter compartment is located on top. At this stage, air is filtered using fibrous material and foam. Next to the dust container is a button; when pressed, the bottom cover opens and all debris falls out. Inside the flask is a cyclone with a mesh filter.

By pressing the button on the bottom, you can also completely remove the flask for easy shaking and rinsing if needed.

According to the manufacturer, the dust container holds up to two liters. However, given the cyclone, I think the container will hold around 800 ml of dry, compressed waste. In any case, this container has a higher capacity.

Now let's look at the attachments included in the kit, there are only three of them:

Let's start with the main floor cleaning brush. It's equipped with an LED light to highlight debris in low-light areas.

The brush is removed by releasing the locking mechanism, which requires a straight screwdriver. The roller is equipped with short bristles. This roller design is more suitable for cleaning carpets.

The upholstery cleaning attachment does not have a turbo brush, but the brush head can be removed if necessary.

The crevice tool is of a fairly standard design.

Let's assemble the vacuum cleaner. The extension tube and main nozzle are connected by mechanical locks. The additional nozzles are simply inserted until they stop. Here's what the REDMOND RV-UR360 looks like assembled:

Overall, the build quality of this upright vacuum is budget-friendly, as is the price. However, I have no particular complaints about the build quality. The only issue is that you need to use your other hand when activating Turbo mode.

Technical specifications

The main characteristics of the REDMOND RV-UR360, as declared by the manufacturer:

  • Power consumption 350 W.
  • Suction power ≈80 aW.
  • Li-Ion battery 2000 mAh.
  • Dust collector capacity up to 2 l.
  • Operating time up to 25 min.
  • Weight when fully assembled: 2.9 kg.
  • Noise level 73-82 dB.

It's worth noting that the main unit weighs 1,638 grams, the extension tube 233 grams, and the main brush 726 grams. Accordingly, the fully assembled vacuum cleaner weighs almost 2.6 kg, which is quite standard for an upright vacuum cleaner. However, the minimum assembly with the crevice tool weighs approximately 1,676 grams.

The noise level in standard mode reaches 75 dB, and at maximum power it ranges from 80-83 dB. This is quite reasonable for cordless vacuum cleaners with average suction power.

Testing

Well, let's finally move on to the tests to understand how well the REDMOND RV-UR360 performs its main task.

A detailed video review with all tests has already been prepared and published on the channel:

Opening hours

First, let's check the cordless vacuum's runtime in Turbo mode. It lasted approximately 8 minutes and 40 seconds. This is a perfectly acceptable result.

Suction power

The REDMOND RV-UR360's actual suction power was impressive. It effortlessly sucks debris out of crevices up to 10 mm deep, more than sufficient for home use and carpet cleaning.

Quality of waste collection

The vacuum cleaner picks up various types of debris from laminate flooring well. It doesn't leave debris along walls or in corners. There are no blind spots, which is a plus.

The same debris was scattered on the carpet, and here the REDMOND RV-UR360 performed even better. It cleaned the carpet thoroughly. All debris was collected in the dust bin, with some hair tangled in the easy-to-clean central brush.

The included attachments allow you to clean not only furniture but also car interiors and hard-to-reach areas. It's a shame there's no turbo brush attachment for cleaning mattresses, but perhaps many people don't need one.

Let's sum it up

The REDMOND RV-UR360 was thoroughly reviewed and tested. Overall, the vacuum cleaner didn't impress with anything special, but it also didn't leave any negative impressions. It's a fairly standard option for the most common conditions.

The advantages include:

  1. The main brush provides high-quality debris collection. The vacuum cleaner performs well on both hard floors and carpets.
  2. The presence of LED lighting in front of the cleaning area.
  3. Capacious dust collector.
  4. Removable battery.
  5. Good filtration system.
  6. Availability of a warranty and full service support from the manufacturer.

No significant shortcomings were found, only a couple of comments. Namely:

  1. The wall mount doesn't have storage for the extra attachments, of which there are only two included. They must be stored separately.
  2. Charging on a wall mount is not provided.
  3. Replacement fluffy roller for hard surfaces is missing.

Ultimately, the REDMOND RV-UR360 doesn't boast any unique features or design features, but there are nonetheless few complaints about its implementation. So, if you like this cordless vacuum cleaner or find a good discounted offer, I see no reason to dissuade you from buying it.

On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
