Functional capabilities

The robot vacuum cleaner has several operating modes, allowing you to select the most optimal cleaning parameters in the given conditions.

Overview of operating modes and movement trajectories of Midea VCR03:

  1. Automatic. The robot vacuum cleaner is capable of cleaning the room, independently choosing its own trajectory.
  2. Spot (spiral) cleaning. When the dirtiest areas are detected, the robot begins cleaning the area in a spiral pattern.
  3. Wall-Mounted. In this mode, the robot vacuum cleaner detects walls and cleans along baseboards, furniture, and corners.
  4. Z-mode. The curved cleaning mode is best used in rooms with minimal furniture and in large areas for quick cleaning. It cleans quickly and efficiently.
  5. Preset cleaning. If needed, the user can preset the Midea VCR03's automatic start time.
  6. Smart brush cleaning. The robot vacuum cleaner's movements can be controlled manually using the remote control, simultaneously cleaning the surface. This synchronizes the commands from the remote control and the robot's movements. The remote control acts as a brush handle, and the robot vacuum cleaner acts as a brush sweeping the floor. The user, in turn, pushes the virtual brush.

I have one of these now; I got it as my first robot. It's good, but I quickly realized I wanted something more advanced. 🙂

This model doesn't have a turbo brush; it has a suction port. This is a plus for me, as I get a lot of pet hair. More advanced models (with lidar) usually come with a turbo brush. I suspect that hair will constantly get tangled in it.

Could you please tell me if there are any advanced robots (with lidar, mapping, etc.) that have the ability to remove the brush and leave the suction hole?
