Battery life

Let's move on to the tests. First, we'll check the vacuum cleaner's battery life in maximum mode. At the start of the test, the battery was charged to 100%.

Here's an interesting point. The Genio Magic Stick M30 ran for almost 12 minutes at maximum power, and only when the battery charge reached 20% did it automatically switch to medium suction power; it couldn't manually switch back to maximum. And then, at medium power, it ran for another three and a half minutes, for a total of 15 and a half minutes. Of course, even 12 minutes is a very good runtime. Most powerful handheld vacuums last no more than 10-11 minutes in Turbo mode.

At medium power, the same vacuum cleaner lasted about half an hour, which is plenty for a full house or apartment cleaning. If you need much more time, you can purchase an additional battery and replace it with a charged one mid-cleaning.

Suction power

Now let's test the Genio Magic Stick M30's suction power on our test bench. Even with the floor nozzle, it was able to thoroughly vacuum debris from crevices up to 10 mm deep.

For domestic use, this is more than sufficient, and the overall results are very good. Many similar vacuums can only vacuum debris from crevices as small as 6 and 8 mm deep, using the same fluffy roller.

Quality of cleaning

The next test will demonstrate cleaning performance on laminate and carpet. We scattered hair, pet hair, small debris, cat food, and litter on the laminate floor. The Genio Magic Stick M30 cleaned the floor perfectly. The turbo brush picks up various types of debris well, while also effectively picking up debris in corners and along baseboards. There are no uncleaned areas.

At the same time, virtually no hair or fur got tangled up on the brush itself. This is a plus. All debris was collected in the dust collector, and thanks to the cyclonic technology, it was compacted well against the walls of the container.

Even on carpet, the Genio Magic Stick M30 cleaned the same debris well. True, the brush doesn't pick up all the debris on the first pass, but as mentioned earlier, this type of roller is generally more suitable for hard floors. This vacuum cleaner even cleans carpets without leaving any debris behind.

So, in the end, we can say that the Genio Magic Stick M30 is a powerful upright vacuum cleaner that picks up dirt efficiently. It does its primary job perfectly, so the test counts!

Noise level

Now, let's test how loud this vacuum cleaner is in different modes. At minimum power, the noise level reaches 76.4 dB, which is already higher than the stated noise level. At medium power, it's within the same range. And at maximum power, the peak noise level was 78 dB.

Yes, the noise level is elevated, but not critical. And given the truly high suction power, the increased noise is entirely justified.

Additional features

In addition to cleaning floors, the Genio Magic Stick M30 is suitable for cleaning mattresses, upholstered furniture, hard-to-reach areas like the junction of ceilings and walls, and even car interiors. A wide range of attachments makes this upright vacuum cleaner extremely versatile.

Cleaning waste bins

Finally, let's share our thoughts on how the dust bin is emptied. The lower bin can be easily removed by pressing the latch on the side. Next, remove the cyclone filter and simply shake the debris out of the bin. It's very convenient and prevents your hands from coming into direct contact with the debris, which is a plus.

The main dust container, however, is less convenient to empty from the bottom if it's full of pet hair and debris. I recommend also emptying it from the top, by shaking it out.
