Design
The first thing that catches your eye is the unusual dark blue color, which gives the robot vacuum a unique look. A lidar sensor, which is responsible for the robot's navigation, is mounted on the top panel. Additionally, the top panel houses a Wi-Fi connection indicator and a power button. There are no other elements on the top panel.
The front section, in keeping with the classic design, features a movable bumper that detects obstacles as the robot moves. The side section houses the dust collector, power button, and ventilation holes.
Turning the robot vacuum over reveals two side brushes, a central bristle-petal brush, wheels, a swivel roller, and charging terminals. A microfiber cloth for wet cleaning is also located there.
Overall, the Gutrend Echo 520 robot vacuum cleaner is structurally no different from its counterparts, and its appearance is quite standard.

The robot can clean the specified 110 square meters on a single battery charge.
Functional capabilities
Gutrend's new flagship surpasses its predecessors in functionality in many ways. This model incorporates all the modern features we'll discuss now.
The first is, of course, the creation of a room map and its real-time display in a mobile app. This is all thanks to the installed lidar, which scans the room and navigates the space with maximum efficiency.
The next thing I'd like to mention is the ability to perform both dry and wet cleaning simultaneously. By installing a combined waste and water container, you can not only clean the floor of debris but also mop it in a single cycle.
It's also important to note that the Gutrend Echo 520 features adjustable liquid flow to the cleaning cloth (3 levels) and three-level suction power adjustment. These flexible settings will help you choose the optimal cleaning option depending on the room size and floor type. Incidentally, water is only applied to the cleaning cloth while the robot is moving.
The new robot vacuum is controlled via a mobile app. It allows you to restrict cleaning zones, set a cleaning schedule, and select an operating mode. Speaking of modes, there are five available:
- Intelligent cleaning with room mapping. Consistent cleaning of the entire area and display of the map in the app.
- Combined dry and wet cleaning. The robot vacuums and mops the floor simultaneously.
- Selecting desired zones on the map. You can direct the Gutrend Echo 520 to the desired room for floor cleaning by selecting a zone on the generated map.
- Scheduled cleaning. You can set the days and times when the robot should clean.
- Limiting the cleaning area. Not really a mode, but rather one of the options. However, the manufacturer lists this feature as one of the operating modes.
It's also important to note that this robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with voice alerts in Russian. This ensures that the user understands everything the smart vacuum communicates.
Operating instructions
All operating instructions, including settings and troubleshooting steps for the robot, are contained in the manufacturer's manual. Before using the robot vacuum for the first time, we strongly recommend that you read all the included information to ensure proper operation.

Pros and cons
Finally, I would like to highlight the main advantages and disadvantages of the Gutrend Echo 520, based on the capabilities of its competitors and the model’s price segment.
Advantages:
- Laser navigation.
- Control via mobile application.
- Building a map of the premises.
- Restricted areas on the map.
- Suction power adjustment.
- Adjusting the degree of wetting of the napkin.
- Simultaneous dry and wet cleaning.
- Complete set.
- The robot vacuum cleaner is fully Russified.
- There are voice notifications.
- Warranty and service throughout the Russian Federation.
There's only one drawback: you can't select a specific room for cleaning when setting up a schedule. Overall, the model is equipped with all the necessary features, and its specifications are on par with competitors. This drawback is more of a nitpick, as this feature isn't yet widely used by users.
Considering the price, the presence of a laser rangefinder and advanced wet cleaning, this model clearly deserves attention and can compete with similar models.

Definitely the Dreame Bot L10 Pro.
