What exactly does this robot have to offer? It's equipped with a laser rangefinder, advanced wet cleaning, powerful suction, and several other interesting features. We'll cover all the specifications and features below in a detailed review of the Okami U100 Laser.

Design

The Okami U100 Laser has a futuristic look, and its color is called "Digital Gray." The top of the device has just two buttons: "Return to Base" and "Start."

The lidar, the heart of the robot vacuum's navigation, is located in the center. The company logo is displayed on top of the lidar. Importantly, the lidar itself is movable, minimizing the risk of the robot getting stuck under furniture.

The side panel houses a movable mechanical touch bumper, ventilation holes, a speaker, a power button, and a Time-of-Flight sensor, which improves cleaning along baseboards and walls. The dust bin is also removable from the back for emptying or replacing with a water tank.

Thanks to the lidar, the robot navigates well and covers the entire available area while cleaning.

The next thing to consider is wet cleaning. Firstly, you can control the flow of liquid from the tank to the cloth via a mobile app. This is not only convenient but also allows you to control the level of wetting of the microfiber cloth, which is important for working on laminate and parquet floors. Secondly, the movement pattern itself differs from that used for dry cleaning. When wiping the floor with a microfiber cloth, the robot moves in a Y-shaped pattern, similar to a manual mop.
