Design

The robot vacuum cleaner's round body, viewed from above, is made of durable black plastic and is highly resistant to scratches and damage. The Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 930's front panel features an "Auto" start button and a distinctive puck-shaped element with a blue border. This "puck" is a scanner for the Smart Navi route-planning and 3D room-mapping system. Additionally, the front panel features a recessed handle for easy carrying, which extends when needed.

Functional capabilities

The robot vacuum cleaner cleans with two side brushes and a central turbo brush. The brushes sweep debris toward the suction port, which directs it into a 470-milliliter dust bin with a HEPA filter. The robot can automatically recognize the surface being cleaned and increase suction power on carpets. When wet cleaning, it will avoid carpets to avoid getting them wet.

Overview of the main operating modes of the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 930:

  1. Automatic – the vacuum cleaner covers the entire available cleaning area.
  2. Spot (local) – cleaning of a specific, most contaminated area with the device.
  3. Around the perimeter – the robot vacuum cleaner goes around the room along the walls and cleans the corners.

There is also a turbo mode, which increases the suction power on carpets (as mentioned above).

The robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with multiple infrared sensors to prevent impacts and collisions with various objects, as well as falls from stairs and elevated surfaces, including glass. But the core of its navigation is the "puck" on the front panel of the robot vacuum cleaner.

Robot navigation

During its first walk around the Ecovacs territory, the Deebot Ozmo 930 will move cautiously, carefully examining the room's surroundings. But then, once it has mapped the area, its movements will become bolder and more deliberate. You can view the map in the dedicated Ecovacs smartphone app. This app also allows you to configure, view, and control the following operating parameters:

  • planning and launching automatic operation mode;
  • tracking the current location of the robot vacuum cleaner and the cleaning process itself;
  • setting a specific area to be cleaned;
  • battery charge;
  • Deebot Ozmo 930 motion control;
  • View cleaning log.

Although the kit doesn't include a virtual wall, you can set one up in the app by simply drawing the required lines. This will ensure the robot cleaner won't move beyond the wall's boundaries.

Operating instructions

The Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 930 user manual is available in five languages. Unfortunately, there's no Russian version, but you can translate any necessary information yourself, as there are numerous online services for quickly translating documents.

The manual contains sections on the components, the structure of the robot vacuum cleaner, operating modes, and also provides rules for using the robot.

You can download the Deebot Ozmo 930 manual in electronic format by following the link: Ozmo 930 manual.

    What year is this model? Does it support Russian voiceovers? What are the differences between the OZMO 930 and OZMO 937?

    I bought this miracle and I'm completely satisfied, even though it's a bit pricey! It cleans perfectly, the navigation works perfectly, and the Russian language is everywhere! I've found two downsides so far.
    1-no SMS notification about cleaning status
    2 - when the power goes out, the robot rushes in an unknown direction instead of standing at the base like the others, waiting. I think this is a firmware bug!

    What's the difference between the 930 and 902 models? What's the suction power in pascals?
