Functional capabilities

The vacuum cleaner cleans using two side brushes and a suction port. There's no main turbo brush, so you don't have to spend extra time and effort cleaning it. Dirt is directed into the dust bin via a suction channel. The dust bin is medium-sized, so it's important to ensure it doesn't become completely full and to empty it regularly. The dust bin is equipped with a HEPA filter for better filtration of the surrounding air.

Before starting the Hyundai robot vacuum cleaner, remove all foreign objects from the floor that could get inside the device and cause it to break, or that could get entangled or knocked over (vase, lamp, etc.).

What modes are available in the Hyundai H-VCRX30 robot vacuum cleaner?

  1. Random cleaning – the robot moves in a straight line until it encounters an object. After a collision, the vacuum cleaner changes its trajectory and then continues moving in a straight line again until it encounters an obstacle.
  2. Spiral cleaning (local/local mode) – the device moves from the center to the periphery along an increasing spiral trajectory, and then spins back along a decreasing spiral trajectory.
  3. Angled cleaning – the Hyundai H-VCRX30 robot vacuum cleaner moves forward until it detects the corner of a wall, piece of furniture, etc., moving along it until it hits another corner.

The robot can also be controlled manually using a remote control, similar to a radio-controlled car. A timer function allows you to program the device to start automatically at a specific time.

The model can be used for damp wiping of smooth surfaces. Since there's no separate water tank, you'll need to wet the cloth yourself.

Advantages and disadvantages

The main advantages of the Hyundai robot vacuum cleaner include:

  1. Modern appearance.
  2. Small size (especially low height).
  3. Large cleaning area.
  4. Good suction power.
  5. Automatic return to docking station.
  6. The device is maneuverable and capable of overcoming obstacles up to 1.5 cm.
  7. Wet cleaning.
  8. Timer.

Overview of the model's shortcomings:

  1. The delivery set does not include a movement limiter.
  2. Small volume of waste container.

Overall, the shortcomings are quite forgivable, especially considering the price of this robot vacuum cleaner in 2018 is around $150. If you're looking for a slim robot vacuum cleaner with wet cleaning and a standard feature set, this is a perfect choice.
