Modern people are busy. They're always rushing around and have absolutely no time for household chores. To this end, many companies have developed various electronic assistants. iRobot robotic vacuum cleaners are in high demand among consumers. Made in the USA, iRobot Corporation initially focused on military and space technology and eventually expanded its focus to include scientific and household robotics.

Since all equipment manufactured by the company undergoes rigorous testing and quality control, the product quality fully meets its requirements. The following devices are considered iRobot's patented devices:

  • Charging base. iRobot robot vacuum cleaners have a distinctive feature among their competitors: they are the first to be able to independently find their base and return to it to fully charge. Furthermore, after successfully completing a task, the robot automatically returns to the station.
  • iAdapt. This unique system is found in all iRobot robot vacuums. Thanks to this system, the device can analyze its surroundings and work safely and efficiently using specialized sensors.
  • DirtDetect. Another unique system that enables a robot vacuum cleaner to detect heavily soiled areas in a room. Using multiple sensors, the device locates areas with a high concentration of dust, dirt, or other debris and cleans them more thoroughly. Some models also use acoustic sensors in addition to optical dirt sensors.
  • Anti-tangle system. This system prevents iRobot robotic vacuums from becoming entangled in cords and other similar obstacles. It works like this: if the vacuum cleaner snags a cord, it stops its brushes and untangles itself. If it fails to untangle itself, the robot will wait for human assistance.
  • Virtual Wall. This is a so-called movement limitation system that allows you to set cleaning boundaries beyond which the robot will not move.
  • Virtual Lighthouse. This is an advanced virtual wall feature that increases cleaning efficiency by coordinating the robot vacuum's movements.
  • HEPA filters. These filters have powerful cleaning properties, preventing debris and dust from entering the air and remaining in the dust compartment. They are used on all iRobot models.

When talking about iRobot robot vacuum cleaners, it's worth noting that the Braava, Roomba, and Scooba series are considered popular. Robot vacuum cleaner iRobot Roomba It's used for dry cleaning of areas ranging from 40 to 150 square meters. The cleaning area depends on the robot model. Once you set the schedule, the machine will automatically clean the entire apartment or house.

Robot vacuum cleaners iRobot Scooba These robots are designed for wet cleaning of surfaces such as tiles, linoleum, laminate, and parquet. First, the robot removes all debris and dust from the floor, then uses nozzles to spray a cleaning solution and water, followed by a brush to scrub and wash the floor. A high-power vacuum turbine sucks dirty water and excess moisture into a special tank.

Robot vacuum cleaners iRobot Braava A distinctive feature of these robotic mops is their ability to clean in both dry and wet modes. This robotic mop is controlled by a special navigation system. When dry, the device moves in straight lines, while when wet, it moves in a herringbone pattern. This motion increases cleaning efficiency. Water for wet mopping is pre-filled into a special reservoir, which is sufficient for cleaning up to 35 square meters. Once the mop is finished cleaning, it automatically returns to its station and turns off.
