Today's review is dedicated to LG's new product—the ultra-powerful R9MASTER robot vacuum cleaner, also known as the CordZero R9. In addition to high suction power (maximum 120 AW), the robot features state-of-the-art navigation and mapping technology, a unique design with an unusually positioned central nozzle, and smartphone control. Designed for dry cleaning of all floor types, the device can pick up not only small debris but also sand, hair, and pet hair. The LG R9MASTER robot is reminiscent of another fairly powerful well-known robot vacuum cleaner - Dyson 360 EyeThe robot has the same tall, round body and a full-width central brush. Returning to the subject of this review, it's made of durable, high-quality plastic, primarily dark gray (two other models are available abroad: red and light gray).

The design of this robot vacuum cleaner differs significantly from most other dry cleaning robots available. First and foremost, the LG R9MASTER is tall due to its unique design, making it difficult to fit under low furniture. However, it will clean the entire cleaning surface with maximum efficiency thanks to its high-speed motor, unique airflow technology, and unique brush head with an anti-tangle system.

When looking at the robot vacuum cleaner from the front, we see the control panel, LED indicator and 3D DUAL Eye – a camera and laser sensor.

At the bottom of the robot are two drive wheels, a front wheel, a ventilation hole, a brush attachment and a button for removing it, charging terminals, and a fall protection sensor.

The rear view of the device allows you to see the top cover and the button for opening it, the dust suction hole, dust sensors, the main power switch, the pre-filter, the HEPA filter, the cyclone filter mesh, and the dust container with a button for removing it.

Let's start by looking at how the LG R9MASTER robot vacuum cleaner cleans. Its high efficiency is achieved thanks to years of dedicated development. The manufacturer utilizes airflow technology that uses mini-vortices to separate dust particles.

The robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a high-speed Smart Inverter Motor, which creates a powerful airflow in the cyclone chambers. When cleaning carpets, along baseboards, and in particularly dirty areas, the robot automatically activates turbo mode, increasing suction power.

The LG CordZero R9's main brush is located just forward of the body. A built-in electric motor rotates it, allowing it to pick up debris, dirt, dust, pet hair, and fur from various surfaces. The brush head also features an anti-tangle system that prevents pet hair from tangling during cleaning, making cleaning more comfortable.

In terms of filtration, the new LG robot vacuum cleaner has a five-stage filtration system: dust and debris are captured in stages 1-3 and settle in the dust collector, while small particles are filtered in stages 4-5.

The robot vacuum cleaner features 3D DUAL Eye technology, which uses a 3D camera and laser sensor to recognize the device's current location, avoid collisions with objects and falls from elevated surfaces, and plot the optimal cleaning route. The robot vacuum cleaner's front camera provides a 160° field of view and collects information about the room's layout.

However, the price is steep and there's no wet cleaning function, which could impact demand for the model. Still, the new one Rumba i7 This model can compete, since the price segment and functionality are approximately the same, but this robot is clearly more powerful.
