iLife V3S Pro

The iLife V3S Pro is an affordable model from Chuwi designed to remove dust, dirt, hair, and pet hair from hard and carpeted floors. Despite its Chinese origins, this robot vacuum cleaner performs its basic functions quite well and boasts impressive technical specifications. For a more detailed look at this robot vacuum, check out our iLife V3S Pro review.
Equipment
The iLife robot is packaged in two boxes: the first is a protective box made of thicker corrugated cardboard, and the second is made of cardboard with a plastic handle for easy transportation of the robot vacuum cleaner.
The delivery set includes:
- Robot vacuum cleaner.
- Power adapter.
- Charging station.
- Remote control.
- Power elements.
- Two additional filters.
- Two side brushes.
- Brush for cleaning the dust collector.
- Instructions.
As you can see, there's no motion limiter included. However, given that the average price of a robot vacuum cleaner in 2018 is $85, this is quite logical. Furthermore, the kit includes a remote control, which is not something all budget robots come with.
Design
The iLife V3S Pro robot vacuum cleaner has a modern, round design. As you can see from the photo, it's made of white plastic. Its compact dimensions (30 x 30 x 7 cm) allow it to easily access and clean under furniture.
When viewing the robot vacuum from above, we see a touch-sensitive "Clean" button, a "Push" button for lifting the dust bin lid, and three pairs of status indicators. On the side of the device is a soft bumper, a power port, and an on/off button.
A bottom view of the robot vacuum cleaner shows us two high-mounted drive wheels, one swivel wheel at the front, two side brushes, a suction port, and a battery compartment cover.

Functional capabilities
The robot vacuum cleaner has three operating modes:
- Automatic cleaning. In this mode, the device moves randomly from obstacle to obstacle, and when it encounters one, it changes its trajectory to clean along walls, and then moves randomly again—in a circular pattern. The robot cleans in this manner until the battery is completely discharged, after which it returns to the docking station to charge. This mode can be activated using the touch button on the control panel or the remote control.
- Spot cleaning mode (spot cleaning). In this mode, the robot vacuum cleaner increases its suction power, but also increases noise. This mode is activated exclusively by pressing the corresponding button on the remote control.
- The edge cleaning mode (along walls) is also activated by pressing a button on the remote control. This mode allows you to thoroughly clean debris, dirt, and dust along baseboards, as well as sweep it out of corners.
You can also program scheduled cleaning using the robot's timer. This feature significantly simplifies daily cleaning in homes and offices, saving time and effort. After cleaning, the robot vacuum automatically returns to the charging station. You can also connect the device directly to the power outlet using the power adapter included with the iLife V3S Pro.
iLife is equipped with orientation sensors that prevent collisions with surrounding objects and allow the robot vacuum cleaner to avoid falling down stairs and elevated surfaces.
The robot features a fine air purification system that ensures maximum filtration of the surrounding air. The system relies on two filters that require periodic manual cleaning. The first mesh filter is easily rinsed with water, while the second requires cleaning with the included brush.
Instructions
The robot vacuum cleaner's manual is standard for most automated robotic cleaners. It describes the functions, operating modes, package contents, technical parameters, and operating and maintenance instructions. It is included with the manufacturer's package.
