Let's continue our review by listing the functions of the robot vacuum cleaner.

Functional capabilities

The Kitfort KT-545 navigates in space thanks to built-in optical obstacle and altitude sensors, as well as a gyroscope.

The robot can perform both dry and wet cleaning. Simply replace the solid waste container with a water container and attach the cleaning cloth.

The following operating modes are provided:

  • automatic – according to the data received from optical sensors, the robot vacuum cleaner cleans the entire available cleaning area;
  • local – involves cleaning the most contaminated areas with a diameter of up to one meter;
  • around the perimeter - Kitfort KT-545 cleans the space along the walls and in the corners.

The robot vacuum can be controlled using the button on the body, the remote control, or the Smart Life app. Here, you can adjust functions and cleaning parameters, set a schedule, and vary the suction power.

A quick overview of the suction power modes:

  • off (Low) – quiet operation, debris is swept away only by the turbo brush and side brushes without a vacuum;
  • normal (Mid) – standard work;
  • powerful (High) – maximum suction power.

In addition, the Kitfort KT-545 can create a room map. The map is displayed in the app, allowing you to track and evaluate the work performed.

Operating instructions

A paper user manual for the Kitfort KT-545 is included in the package. It contains information about the robot vacuum cleaner's components, design, technical specifications, operating features, and operating modes, as well as recommendations for maintenance, care, storage, troubleshooting, and safety precautions.

You can download the operating instructions in Russian by following the link: KT-545 manual.

Advantages and disadvantages

Pros:

  1. Compactness (low height).
  2. Several operating modes + wet floor mopping.
  3. Low noise level.
  4. Control via Smart Life + app with remote control.
  5. Building a map and displaying it in the application.
  6. Setting up a schedule by time and days of the week.
  7. Good equipment.
  8. Availability of warranty and service.

Cons:

  1. There is no movement limiter.
  2. Poor navigation.

Considering this robot vacuum costs $200, opinions on it are mixed. On the one hand, the specifications and features are decent, and the functionality is sufficient for keeping your home clean automatically. However, because there's no virtual wall and the navigation is relatively weak, this robot is only suitable for small spaces.

Gyroscope-based robot vacuums are capable of effectively cleaning areas of 60-80 square meters. If you have a spacious house or apartment, a larger area may negatively impact cleaning performance. Overall, however, this model is worth considering, as the Panda X7 costs over $300, while the Liectroux C30B costs up to $150, but it doesn't come with a warranty and must be ordered from Chinese online stores. In any case, we recommend checking out the similar models we've listed below.
