The Chuwi iLife V7s Pro is a modern automated robotic cleaner designed for dry and wet cleaning of rooms in residential and office buildings. Despite its relatively low price ($120 in 2018), this robotic vacuum cleaner boasts excellent specifications, features, functionality, and cleaning performance. The robot vacuum cleaner is packaged in two cardboard boxes: a thicker outer box and an inner box with a special compartment for storing the device. The iLife V7s Pro package includes the following items:

Design

The Chuwi iLife V7s robot vacuum cleaner is made of durable plastic, features a round, compact design, and a pleasing combination of pink and cream on the top and white on the sides and trim. The bottom edges of the device are chamfered to improve obstacle clearance. The surface is glossy.

The front of the device contains a single touch-sensitive "Clean" button with an LED indicator for automatic operation and a compartment lid for either the dust bag or the liquid container. On the side of the robot vacuum cleaner, on one side, is a spring-loaded bumper with an attached plastic strip and multiple sensors for obstacle detection, remote control, and home base locator. On the other side, there's a power port and a power button.

The back of the robot has two side wheels, one swivel support wheel, one side brush, a central turbo brush with regular bristles and solid rubber plates, a mount for a nozzle with a microfiber cloth, a battery compartment cover, and infrared height difference sensors.

Functional capabilities

Starting the iLife robot is very simple: just press the touch button on the device itself or turn it on using the remote control.

The Chuwi iLife V7s Pro robot vacuum cleaner has five main operating modes, all of which can only be accessed via the remote control. Here's a brief overview of each:

• Automatic – in this mode, the device moves randomly around the room between obstacles and changes cleaning settings depending on the situation.
  

  Automatic cleaning

• Local – a spot cleaning mode for intensive cleaning of a specific area of ​​the room. The robot vacuum cleaner moves in a spiral pattern.
  

  Moving in a spiral

• Wall-Mounted Cleaning – This mode is a surface cleaning mode. In this mode, the iLife V7s emphasizes thorough cleaning along walls and in corners.
  

  Moving along walls

• Manual – using the remote control, the user can control the robot's movements and also force it to return to the charging station using the button with the image of a house.
  

  Returning to base

• Scheduled cleaning mode - the robot vacuum cleaner will leave the docking station and begin cleaning the room at a pre-set time, independently.

The iLife V7s can be used for both dry cleaning and wet mopping. The robot performs dry cleaning using a turbo brush and one side brush. The turbo brush's design effectively picks up hair and pet hair from the floor, while also being easy to clean. Thanks to its V-shaped rows of plates, the iLife V7s also handles small debris.

The dust collector in this model has a larger capacity of 500 milliliters, compared to previous Chuwi devices, equipped with two filters, including a hypoallergenic HEPA filter.

For mopping floors, the kit includes a separate 450-milliliter liquid reservoir and a dedicated mop with a microfiber cloth. The container fits into the device's compartment in place of the dust collector, and the mop attaches to the bottom. As you mop, liquid from the reservoir drips onto the cloth, keeping it constantly damp.
