Appearance
The LG VR6270LVM robot vacuum cleaner shares the same design as the entire HOM-BOT line of robots. Its square shape with rounded corners and a red 3D-effect main body, with black sides and bottom. The top of the body houses the dust compartment cover, touch-sensitive control buttons, and the upper chamber.
When looking at the side, on one side we see a bumper with a row of ultrasonic sensors, an obstacle recognition sensor window, sensors for detecting the charging station and the remote control, and on the other side – a ventilation hole and an on/off button.
The bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner contains a pair of side wheels, a front swivel wheel, a pair of side brushes, a suction hole, a main central brush, charging contacts, a battery compartment cover, a lower chamber sensor, and height difference sensors.

Functional capabilities
The LG VR6270LVM has 4 main operating modes:
- Zig-Zag (Automatic): In this mode, the device moves in a zig-zag pattern until it hits an obstacle. This mode is most effective when cleaning small spaces with a small number of objects.
- "My Space": This mode allows the robot vacuum to clean a specific area twice in a zig-zag pattern. Effective in any room, even those with a large number of items.
- "Cell by Cell": This mode is considered more challenging and is therefore used in complex areas with obstacles. In this mode, the robot vacuum cleaner, after cleaning one segment in a zig-zag pattern, moves on to the next segment.
- "Spot": This mode is designed for thoroughly cleaning specific areas of the surface from stains. In this mode, the LG VR6270LVM moves in a spiral pattern.
Description of additional modes for improved floor cleaning:
- "Turbo": allows you to increase the motor rotation force and suction power to the maximum, thereby improving the quality of cleaning.
- Smart Turbo: automatically switches from Turbo when the machine moves from hard flooring to carpets and rugs.
- "Mode repeat": repeats the last set mode until the battery is completely discharged and the robot vacuum cleaner is directed to the charging station.
The Dual Eye 2.0 camera system helps the robot track its path and create a new one, regardless of the level of lighting in the room, allowing the device to clean even when the lights are off.
Another important feature of the robot vacuum cleaner is the presence of a "digital bumper," based on the work of a set of sensitive sensors that help the vacuum cleaner more accurately determine the location of obstacles and cliffs, and the presence of a self-learning function allows it to remember their location in the room and minimize the possibility of collisions with them.
You can spatially limit the cleaning area of the robot vacuum cleaner using virtual wall, included in the basic kit. It's also possible to set a schedule for the LG VR6270LVM.
This model also includes a special pad with a microfiber cloth for damp mopping floors. Simply dampen the cloth with water and place it on the bottom of the unit.
Operating instructions
A paper manual is included with the robot. Its contents are fairly straightforward, providing information on the device's basic specifications and recommendations for operation and maintenance.

Advantages and disadvantages
To conclude our review of the LG VR6270LVM, we'll list its pros and cons separately. Advantages:
- Compact dimensions.
- Modern attractive design.
- The square body and extended side brushes allow for thorough cleaning of corners.
- Remote control and virtual wall included.
- There is a scheduled cleaning function.
- Wide HEPA 11 filter, large dust collector capacity.
- Dual Eye 2.0 camera system.
- Voice notifications.
- A variety of different cleaning programs, including Cell by Cell and Spot.
- "Digital bumper" and other sensors help the device navigate well in space.
- Wiping the floor.
- The noise level is average, but not the lowest among all robotic cleaners.
Among the disadvantages, the LG VR6270LVM's high price is worth noting. In 2018, the average price for this model was $325. The device also gets tangled in certain objects on the floor and cannot disentangle itself, so large objects, socks, cords, and other items should be removed from the floor before use. According to user reviews, the vacuum isn't particularly good at cleaning carpets and can get stuck on thresholds.
