NEATSVOR V390: An inexpensive Chinese model with good functionality

The NEATSVOR V390 is a Chinese-made robot vacuum cleaner designed for dry and wet cleaning of all types of flooring. It is suitable for smooth floors (laminate, parquet, tile, ceramic, linoleum) and low-pile carpeting. Its design is similar to its larger sibling. Neatsvor X500 and a double DEXP MMB-300At just $100, this model offers decent specs and functionality. In this review, we'll explore all the features and provide a detailed description of the NEATSVOR V390.

It has a 600-milliliter dust container with a dual filtration system: a primary filter and a HEPA fine filter. The robot also includes a separate 180-milliliter liquid tank, which attaches to the bottom.
Functional capabilities
This robot vacuum cleaner model cleans using two side brushes and a suction hole that allows all debris collected from the floor to be sucked into the dust collector through a channel.
The NEATSVOR V390 has the following operating modes:
- automatic (zigzag);
- cleaning around the edges;
- spot cleaning;
- clearing the way;
- cleaning one room;
- scheduled cleaning.
The choice of a particular mode will depend on the room conditions (presence of furniture, floor covering, level of dirt). A unique mode is "Single Room Cleaning," which allows you to systematically clean one room after another. This ensures the robot vacuum cleaner won't miss any of them.
There's also a wet cleaning mode. To do this, simply fill the dedicated reservoir with water, place it on the bottom of the robot vacuum, and attach a microfiber cloth, which will be automatically moistened during operation.
As we mentioned in our previous review, the NEATSVOR V390 features adjustable suction power. This significantly improves cleaning performance on heavily soiled floors and removes dust and dirt from carpets.
Spatial orientation is achieved through a built-in navigation system using a gyroscope and sensors. This navigation system allows for route planning and memorization, creating a map, and controlling speed. Four sets of anti-fall and collision sensors ensure the safety of the robot vacuum cleaner's body and surrounding furniture.
The robot vacuum cleaner is controlled via a remote control and a mobile app on your smartphone. Notably, the map created by the robot is displayed in real time in the app. General operating settings can also be adjusted here. It can be paired with Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice assistants.
Advantages and disadvantages
Pros:
- Small body size.
- Lithium-ion battery 2500 mAh.
- Large dust collector.
- Separate reservoir for liquid.
- Several operating modes.
- Setting up a schedule.
- Low noise level.
- Control from a smartphone and via voice assistants.
- High suction power.
- Good price.
Cons:
- There is no movement limiter.
- There are no instructions in Russian.
A significant drawback is the lack of a virtual wall, which is essential if you have pets or high-pile carpets. Otherwise, the robot is a very good option for a budget of $100.
