Design
The robot vacuum cleaner boasts a sleek, sophisticated appearance. It's finished in white and features a glossy, reflective surface, making it perfect for any interior.

When viewed from the front, we see three touch-sensitive control buttons, status indicators, and an infrared signal receiver. On the side, the robot has a bumper, charging pads, ultrasonic sensors that prevent it from colliding with interior items and furniture, and eighty sensors for contact detection. On the other side is the dust bin cover, and to the left is the charging port and the on/off button.

Incidentally, in 2016, an updated model of the robot vacuum cleaner, the Clever & Clean Zpro-series White Moon II, was released. Its main difference was in the package: four spare side brushes, four fine filters, five replacement pads for the cleaning panel, and spare bearings for the main brushes were added. The manufacturer also noted that the robot vacuum cleaner's software had also been updated. Consequently, the price of the updated robot vacuum cleaner increased to $200, an increase of 5,000 rubles. It's worth noting that the specifications and features of both the new and old robot vacuum cleaners are identical.
Functional capabilities
The robot vacuum cleaner can operate in three main modes: automatic, local, and manual. The robot's movement patterns are as follows:
- In a spiral.
- Zigzag.
- Along the walls and in the corners.
The Clever&Clean Z-series White Moon can also wet mop floors in addition to dry cleaning. To do this, attach the special unit with a dampened microfiber cloth.
Dry floor cleaning
The robot vacuum cleaner also features an ultraviolet lamp for disinfecting surfaces being cleaned. According to the manufacturer, this is especially valuable for users with allergies, pet owners, and families with small children who like to play on the floor. However, in our opinion, the robot's ultraviolet lamp is more of a marketing gimmick than an effective way to disinfect rooms. You can limit the cleaning area using virtual wall, which is part of the main Z-series White Moon kit.
If necessary, the robot's speed can be adjusted by adjusting the ratio of cleaning area and efficiency per battery charge. A high-quality navigation system, comprised of a combination of sensors, enables faster and more thorough cleaning of surfaces, as the Clever&Clean Z-series White Moon automatically plots the most optimal route.
The robot vacuum cleaner has a programmable cleaning schedule for the upcoming week. This is very convenient: when the owners arrive, the automated cleaner will clean the room and maintain it at a high level. After finishing its work, the device automatically returns to the charging station.

Advantages and disadvantages

Review of the disadvantages of the Clever&Clean Z-series White Moon:
- The noise level is average; some may find the device's operation not quiet enough.
- Over time, the battery degrades and requires replacement.
- Brushes need to be cleaned periodically, they also tend to age and wear out, so after some time they should be replaced with new ones.
- The device is not the lowest and smallest on the robotics market, so there is a risk of it getting stuck in tight spaces.
- There's only one side brush. A UV lamp was installed in the place of the second one. It would have been better to have two side brushes, which would have improved the cleaning performance.
- Due to its height of almost 10 cm, it can get stuck under furniture.
Still, given the budget price of the model, the shortcomings are not entirely rationally perceived. It is not for nothing that this device was included in the Best robot vacuum cleaners under $150.
