Dreame Bot L10s Pro: a simplified version of the flagship with the same cleaning module

Dreame Bot L10s ProDreame Bot L10s Pro

The new Dreame Bot L10s Pro robot vacuum cleaner is visually similar to the flagship Dreame Bot L10s UltraIt features the same round discs with wipes, a silicone brush, a floor detection system, and lidar for navigation. However, the simplified version has lost the wiper rinsing station and self-cleaning function, which has reduced the price from $1,400 to $450-$500. So, below, I'll thoroughly test the new product and share my observations on the other differences between this robot and the older model, and whether the L10s Pro is worth buying. So, let's get started!

Equipment

The robot vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:

Appearance

Now let's take a look at how the Dreame Bot L10s Pro is designed. It comes in a graphite color, as Dreame Bot Z10 ProApparently, a white case color will be available soon. The case is round.

The front mechanical bumper features a sensor system for detecting objects on the floor. We see that HIGH PRECISION 3D technology is listed, just like the previously released Z10 and L10 Pro. This means it's not an active camera with artificial intelligence, like the flagship L10s Ultra, but 3D sensors. I was hoping for the new AI Action technology.

Speaking about the height of the case, it has not changed and is 97 mm from the floor.

The control panel features three mechanical control buttons. The lidar is equipped with a spring-loaded cover to prevent it from getting stuck under furniture. The dust container and water tank are located under the top cover, which attaches to the body with magnets for a super-convenient experience. The robot's design has been slightly modified. A cleaning tool is stored next to the containers.

Placement of containers

The dust container, like the filtration system, can be washed with water, which is a plus. The filtration system uses a mesh filter and a HEPA filter. The container holds up to 450 ml of dry waste.

The central brush unit is floating. The turbo brush itself is silicone and detachable, like the older model.

Central brush

A useful life hack: you can install a bristle-petal central brush from Dreame Bot L10s Pro Mijia OMNI B101CNIn this case, it's advisable to also change the frame so it has partitions, but this isn't critical; you can use the original frame as well.

The wipe holders are attached to the robot magnetically, and the wipes are attached to the holders using Velcro. The Dreame Bot L10s Pro can automatically lift the wipe platforms when it enters carpets. In this case, the wipes are simply screwed or unscrewed into the robot, depending on the type of flooring.

Holders and napkinsHolders and napkins

Holders and napkins

Overall, the Dreame Bot L10s Pro is identical in design to the flagship Ultra version, except for the object detection system. It's also worth noting that the charging terminals are located on the bottom of the body, not the back, so this robot is definitely not compatible with the self-cleaning and rinsing station. With a standard self-cleaning station, like the Z10 Pro or D10 Plus It's also not compatible, as there are no channels for emptying debris, either in the dust collector or in the robot body. This is worth keeping in mind.

Technical specifications

The main characteristics of the Dreame Bot L10s Pro, as stated by the manufacturer:

  • Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
  • Suction power up to 5300 Pa.
  • Operating time up to 210 min.
  • Cleaning area up to 200 sq.m.
  • Dust collector capacity is 450 ml.
  • Water tank capacity is 190 ml.
  • Obstacle clearance up to 20 mm.
  • Dimensions: 350*97 mm.

Of the specifications, it's important to check the claimed high suction power. Otherwise, they're on par with other premium models.

Functional capabilities

Let's take a look at the Dreame Bot L10s Pro's features. The robot vacuum is controlled via the Dreamehome app. Key features:

  • Identifying objects on the floor.
  • Saving multiple cleaning maps in memory.
  • 3D map of the room.
  • Automatic zoning of premises into rooms.
  • Selecting areas and rooms for cleaning.
  • Virtual walls and no-go zones (and for wet cleaning mode).
  • Suction power adjustment.
  • Adjusting the degree of wetting of napkins.
  • User mode.
  • Cleaning log.
  • Setting up cleaning according to a schedule.
  • Voice notifications in Russian.
  • Automatic power increase on carpet.
  • Carpet cleaning in wet cleaning mode.
  • Lifting napkins when driving onto carpets.

As you can see, a wide range of options are available for flexible cleaning settings. A custom mode is also available, allowing you to set individual cleaning parameters for each room.

FunctionsFunctions

Functions

What I didn't find was the ability to disable the floor detection system. This feature would be useful in case the bumper sensors don't detect carpets correctly, as was observed with the Z10 and L10 Pro. The robots recognized medium-pile carpets as obstacles and didn't always drive onto them, even during dry cleaning. I hope the ability to turn the object detection system on and off will be added in the future.

Testing

A detailed video review of the Dreame Bot L10s Pro has already been prepared and published on the channel. I recommend watching the video:

Navigation

And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll test the Dreame Bot L10s Pro's navigation in a room with obstacles. The robot vacuum first moves around the perimeter of the room, then cleans the entire accessible area in a serpentine pattern. It detected the legs of the dryer and carefully navigated around them. It also swept around the box and chair legs separately, then returned to the station. The test was successful.

Navigating an Obstacle RoomNavigating an Obstacle Room

Navigating an Obstacle Room

Speaking of navigation within the home, the robot vacuum similarly moves room by room along the perimeter, then in a serpentine pattern. There are no uncleaned areas left, and the cleaning speed is high, so this model has excellent navigation!

Identifying objects on the floor

As for the object detection system, the Dreame Bot L10s Pro was able to accurately navigate around most objects, barely touching some. It didn't detect the simulated pet surprise and drove right through it. However, the charging cord and sock didn't become a trap, and the robot vacuum was able to complete its cleaning without incident. The object detection system is effective, but it doesn't compare to the flagship Dreame Bot L10s Ultra and Roborock S7 MaxV.

Identifying objects on the floorIdentifying objects on the floor

Identifying objects on the floor

With the lights off, the robot vacuum cleaner was also able to complete the test, but it did move some objects, so the sensors are still blind in complete darkness, which is important to keep in mind.

It's also worth noting that the Dreame Bot L10s Pro works well on medium-pile carpets. Occasionally, it might avoid the edge of the carpet, but then it'll move onto it in a different spot and cover the entire area. Overall, the object detection system is well implemented, but I still hope they add an option to turn it off if needed.

Suction power

The Dreame Bot L10s Pro has increased suction power, comparable to the L10s Ultra. It was able to suck up debris from 2mm and 4mm crevices. It's far from the most powerful robot vacuum on the market, but still better than most similar products. However, the actual power wasn't as high as the manufacturers claimed.

Dry cleaning

The collection quality of various types of debris on laminate floors is good. Only a little debris remains in corners, where round robotic vacuums can't reach. All debris is collected in the dust bin. It's important to note that the central brush has minimal hair accumulation. Most of it is wrapped around the sides under the caps, and this hair is easily removed from the brush. This is the main advantage of silicone brushes!

Dry cleaningDry cleaning

Dry cleaning

I also tried using the Dreame Bot L10s Pro with the Mijia OMNI bristle-petal brush. The cleaning performance was just as good. Moreover, the bristle brush picked up more hair. In some cases, this brush is more effective at picking up debris than the silicone brush. So, you can buy one if needed.

Comparison of brushesComparison of brushes

Comparison of brushes

Carpet cleaning

The robot vacuum also cleaned the carpets well. However, the silicone brush is less effective on medium-pile carpets than a standard bristle brush. We can see that several clumps of fur were left behind after the robot's passes. Nevertheless, considering the carpet's initial condition, I can say the test was a success!

Carpet cleaningCarpet cleaning

Carpet cleaning

Wet cleaning and carpets

When wet cleaning carpets, you can choose between two robot behaviors. The first is to automatically lift the cloths when entering the carpet, allowing the robot to simultaneously vacuum and mop the floor, leaving the carpets dry and clean.

Lifting napkins on the carpetLifting napkins on the carpet

Lifting napkins on the carpet

The second option is to enable the automatic carpet avoidance feature in wet cleaning mode. This is especially useful for high- and medium-pile carpets, as it completely eliminates any contact between the cleaning pad and the carpet if necessary.

Wet cleaning

I'll focus on wet cleaning in detail, as there are some nuances. Round rotating pads do remove dirt more effectively than regular pads fixed to the central brush. However, you can see that when dirt is present, these pads don't absorb the dirt themselves, but instead create circular streaks, which isn't ideal. With a pad rinsing station, the robot could be run two or three times on the stand, and then, with an intermediate rinse, it would completely clean the floor without leaving streaks. However, the Dreame Bot L10s Pro doesn't have a station, so its effectiveness in such conditions is minimal.

Wet cleaningWet cleaning

Wet cleaning

Well, like other robots, it is not able to clean a narrow strip along the baseboard because the wipes do not extend to the edges of the body.

But under normal household conditions, the wet cleaning performance is truly superior to similar products. It doesn't leave streaks, the floor is thoroughly wetted when the water flow is turned to maximum, and most importantly, the cleaning pad lift function. It lifts the pads not only on carpets but also when the robot vacuum finishes a cleaning cycle or, conversely, when it's moving from the base to a designated cleaning spot. So, say the Dreame Bot L10s Pro has cleaned a room, but the pads are dirty. When it returns to the base, it lifts them, preventing the floor in other rooms from being soiled while charging. Alternatively, when it leaves the base for a separate room to clean, it won't soil the pads or waste water until it reaches the designated cleaning spot. This, in my opinion, is a significant advantage compared to many similar products.

Obstacle clearance

The robot vacuum easily navigates 2 cm high thresholds, lifting up the cleaning cloths as it goes. That's a plus!

Obstacle clearanceObstacle clearance

Obstacle clearance

Driving on black surfaces

It's also not afraid of black surfaces, easily driving on completely black carpet. This is another advantage of the robot!

Driving on black surfacesDriving on black surfaces

Noise level

As for the noise level, with the suction off, it's between 57-58 dB. At standard power, the noise level rises to 59-61 dB. In "Strong" mode, the noise level rises to 65-66 dB, and at maximum power, the peak was 68-69 dB. This robot's noise level is standard.

Personal opinion

Dreame Bot L10s Pro has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. our evaluation system he managed to gain 138 points, one point ahead of his fellow Dreame Bot L10 ProFor comparison, the flagship model L10s Ultra scored 176 points and topped the list. overall rating This year. I'll highlight the pros and cons of the model under review, after which I'll express my opinion on when this robot should be considered for purchase.

I liked the following:

  1. System for detecting objects on the floor.
  2. High-quality dry and wet cleaning on any surface.
  3. The robot vacuum cleaner is capable of vacuuming and washing the floor at the same time.
  4. Increased suction power.
  5. Two rotating wipes wet the floor more thoroughly.
  6. Automatic lifting of napkins when driving onto carpets.
  7. The silicone brush is easier to clean from hair and fur.
  8. Complete Russification.
  9. A large number of functions for flexible adjustment of cleaning parameters.
  10. Good cross-country ability.
  11. The robot vacuum cleaner is not afraid of black floor coverings.

Here are some comments about the robot:

  1. Not compatible with self-cleaning and rinsing wipe station.
  2. There is no option to disable the item detection system if needed.
  3. The wipes leave circular streaks when wiping away dirt.
  4. Doesn't scrub the narrow area along the baseboard.

Ultimately, I can say that the Dreame Bot L10s Pro is a robot vacuum cleaner that cleans floors better than most similar products. The wiper marks are much more noticeable, and at maximum water flow, the robot vacuum thoroughly wets the surface, making it definitely better than most of its predecessors in the Dreame line, and beyond. If wet cleaning is your priority and you're not interested in the docking station, you should consider purchasing this robot. However, it's fair to say that the robot also performs well in dry cleaning. It has increased power and an easy-to-clean brush, which is especially important when choosing a robot vacuum for picking up hair and fur.

It's important to understand that this robot shouldn't be considered a full-fledged mop. It's more like a good floor polisher, capable of cleaning both hard surfaces and carpets. Overall, it's a more versatile model compared to, say, the Dreame Bot L10 Pro.

If these comments aren't critical for you, I highly recommend you consider this model. On that note, I'd like to end this review. Happy shopping. Bye!

Hello. What's the difference between the L10s and the L10? And why is the S a point better?

    • Admin

Hello! The L10s Pro offers much better wet cleaning performance, has a cleaning pad lift mechanism for carpets, and a better turbo brush. The L10 has higher suction power.

    Hello!

Could you tell me how limited the robot's functionality will be if I don't have a permanent Wi-Fi connection at home? Will the cleaning process be significantly more difficult if I'm periodically tethering from my phone?

  • Evgeny

    Good afternoon

I see from the review that if you don't focus on wet cleaning, you can go with the Dreame Bot L10 Pro

How's he doing with remembering maps and floors? I have a three-story house, and I'm looking for a model I can move around. No carpet, only laminate and tile. The cat is a wool lover.

Hello. Could you please tell me if I understand correctly that with this robot, I'll need to remove the wipes, rinse them, and reinstall them after each room to avoid spreading dirt throughout the apartment?
And is it true that this is best done with all robots that support wet cleaning but do not have a wipe cleaning station?

  • Sergey

What's the difference between the L10s pro and the D10s pro? Which is better?

    • Admin

I haven't tested the D10s Pro yet, so I can't say for sure. I think the D10s Pro has an advantage in object detection and a better camera. The L10s Pro has better wet cleaning.

  • Galina

What is the minimum height of furniture from the floor that he can move under without problems?

Hello! I've read your reviews, and thank you so much for your hard work! Please advise. My wife and I are choosing between the L10 s pro and the MJSTS1, and the mop is the biggest concern! Our apartment is 100 square meters and has only white tiles! But we have a lot of dust, which looks more like dirt when washed and leaves streaks! In our scenario, after running a dry cleaning cycle, we plan to run the robot room by room and manually wash the mop! We're wondering if the L10 s PRO will smear dust across the floor and leave dirty marks? For some reason, it seems like a regular stationary mop would be better at picking up dirt!
Thank you very much for your answer!

Hello! Thank you very much for the detailed review!

Thanks to this information, I recently bought a Dreame Bot L10s Pro. But for some reason I can't find any consumables for it anywhere; I'm especially interested in the HEPA filter and mops.
I contacted the official Ali store... using the link provided in the description of the video review, but the seller replied that "the filter and rags for the L10S pro are currently out of stock...we are unable to make sure of the exact time in stock."
The website for ordering consumables for filterix robots and upright vacuum cleaners, a link to which was also below the video, also makes no mention of this vacuum cleaner or supplies for it.
For several weeks I tried to track availability on marketplaces - still no luck.

Could you please tell me if you have any information about compatible HEPA filters and mops from other robotic vacuum cleaner models, or if you have contact information for stores that stock consumables for this vacuum cleaner?

    • Admin

Hello! We should have some consumables in stock in a month or so, but they're currently unavailable anywhere. They'll be available in Russia too, and official representatives said they're already shipping a batch. We'll have to wait. They should be available at Ozon, in theory.

      • Elizabeth

Thanks for the information!!! I'll keep an eye out for it.

      • Admin

Somehow, I still can't find any L10s Pro consumables on Ozon. I really need the mops—they've gotten really bad really quickly—they stopped sticking and keep falling off. At least according to the app, they still have 80% life left. But where and how can I buy these mops? Is it really only the L10s Ultra set? And even then, they're white.

Hello! Isn't the tank on this robot a bit small? How many square meters will it clean? Could you recommend a robot? I prioritize wet cleaning, and I don't have a lot of carpets. I have a cat at home who collects fur, and I have three kids. Dark carpets require one that isn't afraid of black. Thanks in advance for your reply! My budget is about 40,000 rubles. The area is about 100 square meters.

    • Admin

It's a bit small, but it's enough for 100 square meters. Roidmi/Lydsto are bigger. Budget 40+? I'm selling after reviewing the Ecovacs X1 Omni. It'll suit your needs and have 4-liter tanks.

  • Natalia

    Hello!
The apartment is 130 square meters, three bedrooms have carpeting, the remaining rooms - the dining room and hallways - have parquet (dark wenge) + tiles (white)
Wet cleaning is essential, as any dust and stains are always visible on the dark floor. I can't stretch the budget too much.
To be honest, I've had my eye on the Roborock S7 - I think I'll buy a base later, if necessary.
I was grateful for your opinion and advice on choosing.

  • Evgeny

Just because I ordered the l10s, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to get the roborock s7?

  • Evgeny

I just got the l10s pro, and I'm wondering if I made the right choice and it would have been better to get the Roborock s7?

  • Admin

Good afternoon. I read a review on YouTube that this robot doesn't pick up the wipes while charging, but in your Overall Robot Rating table, it has a 2 in the corresponding column, the same as models with a stand, like the w10. So, do the wipes actually pick up, or do they just sit wet on the floor? Could you clarify this?
    Thank you!

  • Evgeny

Hello! Thanks for the review! We currently have the Dreame Bot L10 Pro, and everyone generally likes it, but it doesn't completely remove dog hair from carpets. Is the Dreame Bot L10s Pro more powerful or weaker? Could you please recommend the most powerful robot vacuum specifically for cleaning dog hair that clings to carpets?

    • Admin

The bristle-petal brush works better on carpets. The L10 Pro (which is more powerful than the L10s Pro) cleans better. The Roborock Q7 Max might also be a good option. It's more powerful than the L10s Pro and also has a silicone brush.

  • Ilya

Why not place the suction turbine in front of the wheels, make it wider so the wheels don't collect dirt? Balance the design by placing the battery in the back.

  • Ruslan

Could you please tell me how the Xiaomi S10+ is a new model, but there are no good reviews anywhere, specifically how it climbs on high carpet, how it cleans, whether the brushes fold, and whether it is compatible with the self-cleaning station.

  • Mr. Slim

Where can I buy these round vacuum cleaner wipes? They quickly became unusable and stopped sticking properly.

  • Dmitry

When cleaning, the L10s leaves 1-3 cm puddles. This happens when it spins in one place or turns. However, this doesn't happen with every maneuver. Is this normal?

  • Olga

Hello! Has anyone else encountered this: after a month of use, the cloths on the holders started peeling off. Everything was clean. We washed everything several times. Everything looked fine. But one just wasn't holding on at all. Should I order a new holder or cloths?

  • Andrey Slinkin

Please tell me which is better in terms of cleaning quality: the Roborok S7 Max V or the Dreame Bot L10s Pro? Which one has better dry and wet cleaning?

  • Andrey

Hello, I'd like to hear from you. At the store, following the advice of a salesperson, we decided against the Dream Bot L10 Pro in favor of the Polaris PVCR 3900 IQ Home (I explained that the Dream has one side brush, a one-year warranty, and the suction pads (the entire mechanism) are inferior). I'm interested in your opinion, was this the right decision? Thank you.

  • Anastasia

Hello, the water supply has stopped, the wipes are dry, and the water in the reservoir isn't draining. We tried blowing it out, but it works, and the syringe still draws water. What could be the problem?

  • -AD-

Good afternoon, SutoK! Could you please tell me if there's a definitive answer about the compatibility of this robot's main silicone brush with the Dreame Bot L10 Pro robot vacuum cleaner? Thank you.

  • Admin

    Hello!

We recently bought the L10s Pro, our first robot vacuum, and we're very happy with it. It does everything perfectly. Thank you for your reviews!
I have a question about the program. I've added the robot to MiHome. If I set it to mixed cleaning and minimal wet mopping, when I start cleaning in MiHome, it says dry mopping is in progress, although at the end of the cleaning, I see the robot is mopping the laminate flooring, as it's still damp after cleaning. Should I add it to DreameHome? Maybe it will offer more features and better integration with the robot?

  • Elena

Hello! I bought a Dreame Bot L10s Pro. I see consumables on websites for the L10 Plus, L10 Pro, and L10s Ultra. Only the latter model has the letter "s." Does this mean these are the only consumables that work for me? I'm completely confused. Thank you in advance for your reply!

    Thank you for your reviews
Please tell me which is better to choose: Dreame Bot L10s Pro or Hobot Legee-D7?
55 sq m, lots of long hair + 2 small children + lots of toys lying around all the time, tiles + waterproof laminate, 1 small rug.
I want good quality dry and wet cleaning without a station (nowhere to put it and the price)
    Thank you

Hello, I'm a little unclear why the Dreame Bot L10s Pro is better than the MIDEA m7 Pro? Even though the MIDEA has better real-world performance. Looking at reviews on 4pda, the Dreame has big problems.

  • Ivan

    Good afternoon
After a couple of months of satisfactory use, the vacuum stopped wet cleaning: either the water supply malfunctioned, or there was a problem with the brush rotation (although when I lifted the robot and tried to rotate the brushes by hand, they did start spinning). In short, it seems to be some kind of inherent problem—I've seen many similar reviews. I ultimately sent it in for repair—it couldn't be repaired. They refunded my money.

  • Peter

I bought this vacuum cleaner and it works perfectly, and my wife is happy. I also bought some consumables. The main brush with the replacement bristles makes a crackling noise when in use (the bristles seem to catch on the edges of the housing), but it's not a big deal. I bought a set for the Dreame Bot L10s Ultra, Prime, Mijia Omni, X10 Plus, S10+, B101GL, and B101CN. All the consumables fit. I also ordered a six-beam side brush; it cleans better, but it started lifting up rugs, while the three-beam brush works without a problem.
The Yandex Station was a free gift, and the description mentioned voice control for the vacuum cleaner. In fact, this model doesn't support voice control with Alice, and Yandex Station doesn't recognize it.
