However, the device is renowned not only for its high-quality floor cleaning but also for its unique features, including a removable module for filtration, ionization, and air deodorization, a brushless inverter motor providing powerful suction, smartphone control via Wi-Fi, and disinfection of the cleaned surface using an ultraviolet lamp. This review will allow us to delve deeper into the capabilities of this unusual device.

Appearance

The iPlus S5's design can be described as sleek and versatile. The robot vacuum cleaner has a modern look and blends seamlessly into any interior thanks to its slim black plastic body and round, pill-shaped design, which appears round when viewed from above. The top features a display showing the current device status and touch-sensitive control buttons.

The side panel features ventilation openings all around, as well as a bumper, lighting, night vision modules, and sensors. The dust collector is removable from the side, and a water tank can be installed in its place.

The robot also features a brushless, inverter-driven compressor with a motor that rotates at approximately 12,000 rpm, providing high suction power without sacrificing efficiency.

The robot vacuum cleaner's spatial orientation is achieved through an integrated echolocation system that prevents collisions and falls from height, which has many advantages over infrared sensors.

The robot's cleaning process is accomplished through the efficient operation of two oversized side brushes with anti-hair and pet hair protection, as well as a high-speed central spiral brush with V-shaped aluminum bristles. This design prevents the turbo brush from getting tangled in cords or picking up pet hair, thoroughly cleaning carpets.

The collected debris is sucked into the dust collector with an increased capacity of 600 ml with a triple filtration system (air filter, activated carbon filter and HEPA filter), which allows filtering dust particles down to 0.03 microns.

The iPlus S5 robot vacuum cleaner undoubtedly boasts a wide range of advantages, which we'll review below:

The robot vacuum's most prominent drawback is its high price (averaging $350 to $380 in 2018). Furthermore, the model has received the following negative reviews:

1. There are problems in operation: it may stop without reason, and it misses dirty areas.
2. Doesn't always return to base after cleaning is complete.
3. In some cases, it does not adhere to black floor tiles, so in apartments and houses with this type of flooring, difficulties in cleaning the floor may arise.

In conclusion, I'd like to point out that given the high cost of this robot vacuum cleaner and its existing drawbacks, it's not the best value for the money. There are plenty of robots from more reputable brands that offer better cleaning results.
