Functional capabilities
The Ecovacs DeeBot 605 robotic vacuum cleaner uses built-in infrared sensors to optimize its movement. Anti-collision sensors allow the robot to avoid obstacles while cleaning, while a shock-absorbing bumper further protects the body from damage from accidental contact with furniture. Thanks to its height-detection sensors, the robotic vacuum cleaner can clean floors near stairs without the risk of falling off the steps or tipping over.
The Ecovacs DeeBot 605 is designed for cleaning various floor types. It effectively cleans both hard floors and carpets, including low-pile carpet. The robot vacuum uses sweeping side brushes and a central turbo brush with V-shaped grooves, ensuring greater debris collection and cleaning efficiency. Solid debris is directed into a container equipped with air filters that capture even the smallest dust particles, bacteria, and allergens. This results in significantly fresher and cleaner air in the room.
In automatic mode, the robot moves along an improved zigzag pattern. This allows it to cover a larger cleaning area in a single cycle. In addition to automatic mode, the DeeBot 605 also features a spot cleaning mode for cleaning a small, dirtier area, perimeter cleaning, and a maximum mode that doubles the suction power.
To refresh your floors and remove dried-on stains, you can activate the wet cleaning mode. To do this, replace the standard dust container with the pre-filled water tank and attach the included microfiber cloth. The cloth will be automatically and evenly moistened throughout the cleaning process.
You can control the robot vacuum cleaner's movements, switch modes, and make other adjustments using the remote control. However, the dedicated ECOVACS Home mobile app provides access to more advanced settings. Here, you can remotely control and monitor the robot vacuum at any time, manually start and stop it, set an automatic cleaning schedule, monitor its status, and define cleaning areas.
In addition, the robot vacuum cleaner supports control via voice assistants from Amazon and Google.
Operating instructions
The robot vacuum cleaner comes standard with a detailed user manual and a quick start guide. It's great that the documentation is available in Russian, so you won't have to waste time translating the text or trying to figure out how the Ecovacs DeeBot 605 cleans, its settings, operating modes, and features. In addition, you'll learn about the vacuum cleaner's safety features, its design, operation and programming, maintenance, and how to troubleshoot any problems.

Advantages and disadvantages
Pros:
- Good equipment.
- Dry and wet cleaning.
- Control via remote control, app, and voice assistants.
- The quality of cleaning is above average.
Cons:
- Poor navigation (IR sensors only).
- There is no cartography.
Considering the Ecovacs DeeBot 605 costs just under $200, the manufacturer offers a fairly standard feature set for a mid-range robot vacuum. The lack of modern navigation and mapping spoils the overall impression. For this price, you can choose a more interesting option.
