Tefal Smart Force Explorer RG6825WH

Today's review focuses on the Tefal RG6825WH robot vacuum cleaner for dry cleaning of various floor types. This budget-priced robot (priced at $100) offers the features and specifications expected of devices in this category. Built-in infrared sensors help it navigate its surroundings, preventing it from colliding with obstacles and preventing it from falling from elevated surfaces when there are elevation changes. The Tefal RG6825WH can be controlled remotely using a remote control. We'll discuss this and other features of this robot vacuum cleaner later in the review.
Equipment
The robot is delivered in a branded black cardboard box. When viewing the box, you can see a photo of the device itself, as well as a brief description of its operating parameters and main functions.
The Tefal RG6825WH package contains:
- Robot vacuum cleaner.
- Charging base.
- Network adapter.
- Remote control with batteries.
- Brush for cleaning the dust collector.
- Operating instructions.
- Warranty card.
The robot does not include a motion limiter (virtual wall or magnetic strip). There is also no damp mopping attachment, so the robot is only suitable for dry cleaning.
Appearance
The Tefal RG6825WH robot vacuum cleaner has a traditional and understated design: its round, matte black plastic body measures 315 x 315 x 80 mm. This allows it to reach even hard-to-reach areas under furniture, removing debris and dust.
A top view of the case reveals a single button for starting the robot in automatic mode and the brand logo.
The front of the robot vacuum cleaner typically features a protective bumper with infrared obstacle sensors. Additionally, the dust container, which holds only 250 milliliters, can be removed from the rear for cleaning.
On the bottom of the Tefal RG6825WH is the chassis, consisting of two drive wheels on the sides and a front swivel wheel, contact plates for automatic charging of the device on the base, a battery compartment, height sensors, as well as side brushes and the main central turbo brush.

Functional capabilities
The robot vacuum cleaner has built-in infrared sensors and spatial orientation sensors that prevent collisions with obstacles and falls down stairs, thereby protecting the body and surrounding objects from damage. However, there is no navigation algorithm, so the robot moves erratically around the room, leaving behind missed areas. Users have noted that the Tefal RG6825WH has several issues recognizing dark objects and the legs of chairs, dryers, etc. This is a fairly common issue, affecting most budget robot vacuum cleaners without navigation.
This model is designed exclusively for dry cleaning of surfaces; wet cleaning is not supported. The floor cleaning process itself is as follows: the robot vacuum cleaner uses its side brushes to sweep debris along walls, from corners, and from under furniture, while the turbo brush helps collect debris across the entire room. The brushes don't scatter debris, but rather sweep it toward the center of the suction opening, where it is directed through a channel into the dust container. The container features additional filtration, which captures and retains even the smallest debris and particles. The Tefal RG6825WH dust container itself is very easy and quick to clean; it can be rinsed under running water, but it's important to dry it thoroughly afterwards. You'll need to empty it frequently, as the container only holds 250 milliliters.
Operating modes of the Tefal RG6825WH robot vacuum cleaner:
- “random” – the most optimal mode for cleaning rooms filled with furniture;
- “random+” – used for quick cleaning of a room within 30 minutes;
- "Corner" – designed for cleaning around the perimeter (along walls and in corners).
With a weekly scheduling function and seven daily saved programs, the Tefal RG6875 robot vacuum cleaner will keep your home clean.
Control is provided by a button on the body, as well as by a remote control.
Operating instructions
The user manual is printed on thick laminated paper and covers several models of robotic vacuum cleaners in this series. It features numerous illustrations, an overview of safety precautions, features, operating and maintenance recommendations, troubleshooting tips, and other useful information about the Tefal RG6825WH.

Advantages and disadvantages
To sum it up, I will highlight the positive and negative aspects of the robot vacuum cleaner in question, taking into account its price.
Pros:
- Long battery life.
- Set up a cleaning schedule by time and day of the week.
- There is a turbo brush.
- Remote control with batteries included.
Cons:
- There is no movement limiter.
- Small volume of dust collector.
- Simple navigation using IR sensors.
- Unable to recognize dark objects, chair legs, etc.
- There are problems finding the charging base if it is not in the line of sight.
Overall, the model has more disadvantages than advantages, so it’s not the best option for the money. When we looked at The best robot vacuum cleaners under $100 , there were much more interesting models.
