In this review, we'll introduce you to the new ECOVACS Deebot N3 Max, a robotic vacuum cleaner for wet and dry cleaning of various flooring types. Appearance
The robot vacuum cleaner is made of modern white ABS plastic with a matte finish. Its body has a traditional round shape and compact dimensions: 348 x 348 x 93 mm. While not the smallest among similar devices, the robot can still fit under most furniture and clean hard-to-reach areas that aren't often reached.
When reviewing the ECOVACS Deebot N3 Max from the front, the first thing that catches your eye is the protruding turret housing the laser sensor (lidar). To the right of it is a single mechanical button for starting the device. There is no dust compartment cover, as the dust container is removed from the side.
The front features a spring-loaded protective bumper, obstacle sensors, ventilation holes, a slide switch, a reset button, and a Wi-Fi activation button.
The rear of the robot vacuum cleaner houses the wheelbase, battery compartment, anti-drop sensors, side brushes, suction chute, and a V-shaped turbo brush in the center. The ECOVACS Deebot N3 Max can overcome obstacles up to 20 millimeters high, easily crossing carpet edges and thresholds.

Functional capabilities
The robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a laser navigation system (lidar), capable of building and saving a room map. Additionally, the robot features an integrated Smart Navi 2.0 route planning system. Before starting cleaning, the device circles the edges of the room, quickly creating a dynamic map, and then divides the room into several cleaning zones. This highly effective planning system eliminates uncleaned areas and significantly reduces cleaning time (and, consequently, battery drain).
The robot vacuum cleaner cleans floors with two side brushes and a central V-shaped turbo brush, sweeping away all debris as it passes through the suction chute into the dust bin. The ECOVACS Deebot N3 Max maintains its signature high-pressure suction and features an improved air duct. The duct features an exhaust vent completely lined with sound-insulating cotton, ensuring reduced operating noise. Suction strength is adjustable and can be adjusted via the app, which we'll discuss in more detail later in the review. As demonstrated by our robotic vacuum test, cleaning efficiency is high (picking up nearly 99% of debris).
The ECOVACS Deebot N3 Max dust collector features a capacious 600-milliliter container with a three-layer filter for clean and fresh air. The robot vacuum also includes a large, next-generation 300-milliliter dust container, enabling combined sweeping and wet mopping.
The intelligent electronically controlled wet cleaning system automatically regulates the amount of liquid applied to the cloth at up to 2 milliliters per minute. This ensures the robot cleans floors without leaving marks or puddles.
The Deebot N3 Max robot vacuum cleaner can only be controlled via a button on the body and via an app. ECOVACS HOME For your smartphone. The app lets you not only select operating modes, adjust suction power, and set a cleaning schedule, but also view a map, set virtual boundaries and, conversely, define a cleaning zone, and monitor the current status of consumables.
Advantages and disadvantages
