VITEK VT-1804

This review focuses on the VITEK VT-1804 robotic vacuum cleaner. It's suitable for dry and wet cleaning of various flooring types. It's capable of cleaning not only hard, smooth floors like laminate, tile, wood, and linoleum, but also carpet with a low pile of up to 10 millimeters. The robot is equipped with a lithium battery, five operating modes, a gyroscope, eleven pairs of IR obstacle sensors, and four fall prevention sensors. The VITEK VT-1804 isn't cheap, either—it ranges from $200 to $230. Below, we'll take a closer look at this robotic vacuum cleaner and offer our opinion on whether it's worth buying.

Overall, the robot's design is minimalist, stripped of many details and elements. It doesn't look like a robot. $200 robot vacuum cleaner .
So, when viewing the device from the front, we see a single button for turning the robot vacuum cleaner on and off, an indicator, and the logo of the Russian brand.

The back of the robot vacuum cleaner contains the drive wheels, a swivel caster, charging pads, four cliff sensors, a battery compartment, two side brushes, a turbo brush, and a suction nozzle. A damp cloth for mopping floors is also attached to the bottom.
Technical specifications
All characteristics of the VITEK VT-1804 are summarized in a table for easy reference:
| Type of cleaning | Dry and wet |
| Battery | Li-Ion |
| Battery capacity | 2500 mAh |
| Opening hours | 120 minutes |
| Charging time | 210 minutes |
| Rated power | 30 W |
| Suction power | 500 Pa |

The specs are anything but impressive. The suction power is weak, the obstacle clearance is poor, and the battery life and dust bin size are on par with most budget robot vacuums priced around $100-$120.
Functional capabilities
The VITEK VT-1804 navigates its environment primarily thanks to its built-in gyroscope, as well as infrared sensors that prevent collisions with obstacles and prevent falls from heights. It also has indicators to detect if it's stuck or stuck, and a battery level indicator.
The robot vacuum cleaner cleans rooms with two side brushes and a main turbo brush, which allows for more effective cleaning of carpets. Collected debris is sucked through the suction nozzle into the dust bin, which contains a standard coarse filter and a HEPA filter, which removes tiny dust particles, allergens, and microorganisms from the air passing through it. The dust bin has a capacity of 450 milliliters. This isn't a large capacity, so emptying it is necessary after almost every cleaning cycle.
Operating modes provided by VITEK VT-1804:
- auto;
- along the walls and in the corners;
- in a circle;
- intensive;
- quiet.
Manual mode is available with a remote control, along with timer and cleaning schedule settings based on time and day of the week. In addition to the remote control, the robot can be controlled via the Tuya Smart app for Android or iOS devices. Voice notifications are also included.
The robot vacuum cleaner can wet-clean floors. To do this, fill the 270-milliliter tank with water and then place the cleaning cloth on the bottom. It will be moistened automatically. The cloth is reusable, so it should be washed when it gets dirty.
