iBoto Aqua V715B

The iBoto Aqua V715B robot vacuum cleaner, released in 2018, combines a solid design, high-quality construction, high performance, and extensive functionality at a mid-range price. This device is ideal for cleaning small spaces with any type of smooth flooring, and is also capable of cleaning carpets (except long-pile carpets). This is possible thanks to its powerful suction and turbo brush. The robot will sweep up long hair that falls onto the floor, as well as pet hair. It is very independent and intelligent, as you will see in our iBoto Aqua V715B review.
Equipment
The manufacturer iBoto included the following components in the Aqua V715B model package:
- Robot vacuum cleaner.
- Charging base.
- Power unit.
- Dust collector for solid waste.
- Container for wet floor cleaning.
- Remote control.
- A set of spare consumables: a pair of side brushes, a microfiber cloth, filters.

Design
The robot vacuum cleaner has a relatively flat body (just 65 millimeters high) and a perfectly round shape when viewed from above. The iBoto Aqua V715B's body is made of black plastic, with gray used as an additional color. The front panel is minimalist, featuring only the model name and a small display with two buttons: a control button and a start/clean button. There's also an indicator light displaying the current operating status.
The side of the robot vacuum cleaner features a protective bumper, exhaust vents, and a dust container that slides out with the press of an orange button. A wet cleaning container can be installed in place of the dust container.
The robot's bottom features two side brushes, a main turbo brush in the center, charging contacts for the docking station, drive wheels, a single front caster for turning, a battery, and a power switch. A microfiber cloth, which refills automatically, is also attached to the back of the water container.

A review of the iBoto Aqua V715B robot vacuum cleaner's specifications shows that, for its price, the robot actually has decent performance compared to devices from other manufacturers.
Functional capabilities
The multifunctional robot vacuum cleaner has four basic modes:
- automatic – cleaning the entire available area of the room along a route planned by the robot with automatic return to the base;
- spot - the robot vacuum cleaner cleans the dirtiest area of the room along a spiral path with a diameter of 1 meter, with increased suction power for more thorough cleaning;
- along the edges – the iBoto Aqua V715B mode, which is used to sweep debris along baseboards and from corners;
- maximum – mode with increased suction power.
It's also possible to program the robot to start automatically at a specified time. This can be done using the remote control.
The iBoto Aqua V715B cleans using two brushes on the sides, a turbo brush, and a suction module that directs debris directly into a tank with two filters (a sponge filter and a highly efficient fine filter).
The robot vacuum cleaner's dust bin can be replaced with a wet cleaning container, which simply requires water and a microfiber cloth attached to the bottom. The cloth is automatically moistened, and the water flow is controlled automatically.
The device navigates solely using a set of sensors (collision detection and fall detection from stairs and other elevated objects). Additionally, the robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with sensors that automatically detect the dirtiest areas of the room to more thoroughly clean those areas. The device is not equipped with a modern laser rangefinder, camera, or mapping. However, this makes it more affordable for consumers.

Flaws:
- The kit does not include a movement limiter.
- There is no programming by days of the week.
To sum it up, I would like to note that for its money (the price in 2019 is about $170) this is one of the best robotic vacuum cleaners with wet cleaningThe functionality and specifications are quite competitive, so if you like this model, you can seriously consider purchasing it!
