To explore all the features of this device, we offer a detailed review of this new product, which retails for $269 in 2018.
Delivery set
The Bist Tornado comes in a medium-sized cardboard box with a convenient carrying handle. In addition to a picture of the robot vacuum itself, the box contains information about the model's key advantages, features, and technical specifications.
The basic package includes:

- Power adapter.
- Large dust collector with a capacity of 0.9 l.
- Cleaning brush.
- Replacement HEPA filter for dust collector.
- Turbo brush with sweeping bracket.
- Bracket for cleaning smooth surfaces.

- Operating manual.
Appearance
The robot vacuum cleaner's exterior is classic in style. It features a round, matte black plastic body with a glossy top cover, which also houses the control panel. A system of indicators displays schedule and cleaning time settings, as well as the current operating mode. The start button is also located on this panel.
The dust container is located under the top lid. It has a large capacity and is equipped with a removable HEPA filter. For ease of use, the container features a convenient handle and a mount for a cleaning brush, which is located on the container itself and can be removed for easy use. This container can be replaced with a wet floor mop container, which is included in the extended package or purchased separately.
The Bist Tornado's body is protected from impacts and collisions with obstacles. For this purpose, it features a front bumper with soft shock absorption and a rubberized insert. Also on the side of the body is a switch for turning the robot vacuum on and a charging port (when powered directly from the mains). An air outlet is located at the rear.
The Bist Tornado's bottom (cleaning) panel is equipped with two wide main wheels, the coating of which prevents slippage even on smooth surfaces. A swivel wheel is located at the front. Charging terminals are located on either side of the wheel (for power supply when docked).
The suction opening is located in the center of the bottom panel. The cleaning unit, consisting of a turbo brush and a sweeping arm, is also located here. The top of the bottom panel contains openings for the side brushes, as well as a sensor system responsible for detecting the distance to obstacles. The robot vacuum cleaner's battery cover is also located at the bottom of the panel.
A key advantage of the Tornado from Bist is that, in addition to the main sweeping arm, the kit includes a replaceable arm for cleaning smooth surfaces, which is installed without the turbo brush.

Functional capabilities
To start the device, press the start button on the front panel or use the remote control. This initiates the automatic cleaning process.
Bist Tornado has several operating modes for different conditions, different rooms, different types of surfaces and different levels of contamination.
Among them:
- The standard automatic cleaning mode, in which the robot vacuum cleaner cleans the floor sequentially, moving in a zigzag pattern.
- "Turbo" — operates with increased suction power. This mode is suitable for very dirty floors or thick, long-pile carpets.
- "Wall Follow" is designed for individual cleaning along the walls of a room. The robot approaches the wall and begins moving along its perimeter.
- "Spot" — localized cleaning. For heavily soiled areas of the floor, simply position the robot at a specific spot. When you activate Spot mode, Bist Tornado will begin cleaning in a spiral pattern, moving in a 1-meter diameter circle. It will continue this motion for 2-3 minutes.
- "Full Go" is suitable for very heavy-duty cleaning. In this mode, Bist Tornado will automatically clean until its battery is depleted. After this, the robot will return to its docking station, fully recharge, and resume automatic cleaning.
Each of these modes has its own dedicated button on the remote control, allowing you to conveniently change the operating mode as needed. You can also use it to manually control the robot vacuum's movements.
Scheduled cleaning is an essential feature of modern robot vacuum cleaners. The Bist Tornado is no exception, featuring weekly programming. Scheduling is also done using the remote control, and the control panel on the body features a convenient schedule settings indicator.
The Bist Tornado's extended package includes an additional small dust bin, an intelligent water tank (or cleaning solution), and a cleaning unit with a microfiber attachment.
The water tank delivers liquid to the cleaning unit at a specific frequency and in measured doses. The liquid flow settings are also adjustable (two modes: standard and fast-drip). This convenient option is suitable for all floor coverings and ensures high-quality wet cleaning. Importantly, the container holds up to 600 ml of liquid, allowing for wet wiping of large areas without refilling.
A virtual wall is another option available in the extended package. This compact device is installed to block off a specific area of the room from cleaning by the robot vacuum. The virtual wall for the Bist Tornado is quite standard, both in size and in its operating principle.

I have a magnetic strip, not a virtual wall. Could this really be a scam online store?
Where can I find the main turbo brush for my vacuum cleaner? I'm having a real problem. Maybe I can replace it with a different one?
