iBoto Inxni X6S

The iBoto Inxni X6S robotic vacuum cleaner is a new generation of robotic cleaning technology. It can navigate, survey, and plan its movements around the room. This reduces cleaning time without sacrificing quality. Its operating speed is comparable to that of a standard vacuum cleaner, allowing you to clean the room much faster. This iBoto Inxni X6S review explains the robot's key technical specifications, what's included, and what features it offers.
Equipment
A robot vacuum cleaner includes various components that ensure its high-quality operation. It's important to check that all components are included before purchasing. Typically, the iBoto Inxni X6S package includes:
- power unit;
- device charging station;
- additional side brush;
- additional filter for the waste container;
- remote controller;
- accessories for device maintenance (cleaning brush, screwdriver);
- instructions.
All components are packaged in a convenient, compact box with a convenient carrying handle. The complete kit is shown in the photo below:
Design
The device's appearance is similar to standard robotic vacuum cleaners. However, it does have some unique features. Most notably, the bumper is the product's bumper. Hidden behind it is an IR rangefinder, which the robot uses to survey and map the room. Additionally, height and touch sensors are located behind the bumper.
The iBoto Inxni X6S robot vacuum cleaner features a matte, dark orange body that's highly visible during operation. The top of the body is made of transparent, tinted plastic, with figure-eight-shaped touch buttons in the center. These buttons start and stop the vacuum. Indicators also appear on the buttons, indicating battery level, potential errors, and the time. The indicators are backlit in bright orange.
The robot has four wheels: two driving wheels and two support wheels (one in front and one small wheel at the back on the container for collecting dust and debris).

Functional capabilities
The iBoto does its job perfectly. A distinctive feature of the iBoto Inxni X6S robot vacuum cleaner is its mapping capabilities. This means the robot can survey the room being cleaned and, based on what it sees, create a cleaning map. This navigation system is based on lidar.
The robot vacuum cleaner operates in three modes:
- Automatic. When the device operates until the battery is completely discharged across the entire accessible area.
- Localized cleaning. This mode is necessary for cleaning a particularly dirty area. The robot is moved to the designated area, or the user specifies it in advance on a map.
- Scheduled cleaning. You can create multiple schedules, specifying the day and time of cleaning.
The iBoto Inxni X6S robot vacuum cleaner can be controlled in three ways:
- Via the touch panel on the body. The panel displays the selected cleaning mode, the current time, the battery charge, and any errors that may occur during use.
- Using a radio remote control. This remote control consists of two buttons: automatic operation and returning the device to the charging station. The remote control can be operated remotely, regardless of visibility of the device.
- Via a mobile app. This control method is considered the most optimal and functional. To use it, simply connect the device to the internet. The app is convenient because it allows users to see what the robot has been doing while they're away and also monitor the device's cleaning plan. This plan clearly shows where the iBoto robot vacuum cleaner plans to clean and where it has already cleaned. One drawback of the app is that it's not yet available in Russian.
Operating instructions
Before using your robot vacuum cleaner for the first time, be sure to read the included paper user manual. If you need the documentation in electronic format, you can view it or download it from our website.

Advantages and disadvantages
The iBoto Inxni X6S robot vacuum cleaner is a relatively new model that can be safely trusted to clean your apartment or house. Like any robot vacuum cleaner, it has a number of advantages and disadvantages. Its key positive features include:
- Original and unusual design.
- Improved dust collector design.
- Building a map of the premises.
- Speed of cleaning.
- Possibility of working according to a schedule.
- The ability to slow down movements in front of furniture, so the robot vacuum cleaner does not damage it.
- Availability of control via a mobile application.
- The kit includes all the elements necessary for high-quality work.
As for drawbacks, the Inxni X6S model has a small number. The main ones include the fact that it can leave a small amount of debris near walls. The complicated design of the dust bin is also considered a drawback. Another drawback is the inability to detect wires on the floor. The device simply doesn't see them, so it's recommended to remove them from the surface before cleaning. Finally, the model's high price is a final drawback. In 2018, the average price of this robot vacuum cleaner was $280. For the same price (or even less), you could look for a higher-quality and more functional robot from iClebo, Xiaomi, or iRobot.
