Design
The robot vacuum cleaner's body is matte and round, with beveled edges at the bottom. Like most of its components, it is made of black plastic. The top of the device houses a control panel with touch-sensitive buttons and indicators, as well as the dust container compartment lid. The entire top of the robot has a mirror-smooth surface.
The front of the device features a bumper with a rubber strip to protect objects and furniture. On the side is a port for charging the iBoto Aqua directly from the power outlet, as well as a power button to turn the device off.
The bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner contains contact pads, a swivel support roller, drive wheels, side brushes, a battery compartment cover, a suction hole with an infrared sensor, and an ultraviolet lamp.
Interesting fact! The robot's appearance and most of its characteristics are completely identical to Kitfort KT-503, and also Panda X900 Wet CleanIt's quite interesting who borrowed the technology from whom.

Functional capabilities
The robot vacuum cleaner can operate in three different cleaning modes:
- Automatic cleaning mode – operates until the battery is completely discharged. iBoto Aqua's movements are cyclical: first, the device moves randomly between obstacles, then moves along walls, and then returns to its previous mode. Cleaning mode can be activated by pressing the "Clean" button on the robot vacuum's panel or using the remote control. This mode is also used for pattern cleaning. After cleaning the room, the device automatically returns to the docking station to recharge.
- Manual – this mode only starts after automatic mode is enabled. It is activated using the remote control.
- Intensive Cleaning Mode – in this mode, the robot thoroughly cleans a specific area. To do this, move the vacuum cleaner to the designated area manually and activate it by pressing the "Spot" touch button on the vacuum cleaner body or using the remote control. The robot cleaner first cleans the dirty area in an expanding spiral pattern, then in a contracting spiral pattern.
The iBoto Aqua features a daily automatic cleaning function that starts cleaning at a set time. It also allows you to limit the cleaning area using the included virtual wall.
The dry cleaning process works as follows: two side brushes collect debris in the center, toward the suction opening. The airflow draws the dirt into the dust collector and traps it in a mesh filter. The finest debris is collected in the next filter.
To perform wet cleaning, attach the special attachment to the bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner and place a damp microfiber cloth on it. To keep the cloth damp, fill the removable attachment's liquid container with water or detergent.
Since the robot is equipped with an ultraviolet lamp, it is able to disinfect the surfaces it cleans, which is a very useful feature for families with small children.
The Aiboto Aqua is easy to maintain. The dust container is easily removed from the device's body. To do this, open the lid by pressing the "Push" button and remove it by pulling the yellow handle. Simply empty it, rinse it with water, and then dry it thoroughly. It is recommended to clean the filter with the included brush.
Operating instructions
A user manual is included with the robot vacuum cleaner. It describes the device's features and technical specifications, describes the design and operating conditions of the Aiboto, and provides an overview of possible malfunctions and troubleshooting steps.

That concludes our review. As you can see, this robot vacuum cleaner isn't exactly the best, but considering the price, it's logical. If you can't find another robot vacuum cleaner and your budget doesn't allow for the iRobot or iClebo, you might want to consider the iBoto.
