NEATSVOR X600 Pro: increased suction power up to 6000 Pa and a longer battery life
Not long ago, NEATSVOR introduced a new product for 2021 – the flagship model X600 Pro, which is an improved version NEATSVOR X600, which we had for a detailed review and testing. In this article, we'll briefly discuss how the updated robot differs from its predecessor, as well as what features and functions it boasts. So, let's get started!
Differences from the X600
The changes primarily affected the technical characteristics:
- The new robot has a more powerful motor, delivering suction power of up to 6000 Pa. Or perhaps the old motor was simply programmed to run at higher speeds, which is more likely.
- The battery has been replaced with a more capacious 5200 mAh battery. Now, the maximum battery life is 2.5 hours, during which time the device can clean up to 250 square meters of space.
The X600 Pro also features other changes, which we'll discuss in more detail below. Before we get started, it's worth noting that the price of the robot vacuum has also increased, hovering around $280 (on AliExpress).
Appearance
The new model's design isn't much different from its predecessor: the same black puck-shaped case with a protruding lidar turret, a protective front bumper with infrared sensors under tinted glass, and side brushes peeking out from underneath. In front of the turret, you'll find the power button and the home button. The overall dimensions of the X600 Pro remain the same: 33 x 9.8 centimeters. The only clear way to distinguish the X600 Pro from the X600 is the broken "X" pattern painted on the lid of the lid.
Top view
The dust container is similar: it holds 600 milliliters and is equipped with a triple filtration system with an effective HEPA filter. The water tank holds 350 milliliters and has a separate small compartment for dry waste.
Functional capabilities
The NEATSVOR X600 Pro navigates using LDS4.0 intelligent navigation technology, which uses a built-in laser rangefinder (lidar) to scan 360 degrees. It can determine the coordinates of objects, create a map of the room in real time, and use this data to determine the optimal route. A bumper with IR sensors also helps avoid collisions with obstacles, while drop sensors on the bottom of the device prevent falls. The device has a maneuverability of up to 2 centimeters.
Navigation
The X600 Pro robot vacuum cleaner's primary purpose is wet and dry cleaning of large spaces. The cleaning unit consists of a turbo brush and a pair of side brushes with three feathers. The design of the cleaning tools and the outstanding suction power of up to 6000 Pa allow it to pick up the smallest debris, dust, hair, and pet hair, as well as larger debris. Suction power automatically increases on carpets.
Suction power
Wet cleaning is an optional extra for more effective floor cleaning. The cloth is automatically wetted, with liquid supplied by a pump.
Wet cleaning
The NEATSVOR X600 Pro robot vacuum cleaner is controlled via a proprietary smartphone app. It lets you navigate the robot's interactive map, set virtual walls, cleaning zones, and off-limits areas, customize suction power and cleaning cloth wetting, and schedule cleaning sessions up to 7 days in advance. The X600 Pro is also compatible with Google and Amazon voice assistants.
Advantages and disadvantages
Let's summarize our preliminary review of the NEATSVOR X600 Pro. Pros:
- higher suction power;
- capacious battery;
- laser navigation + cartography;
- dry and wet cleaning;
- resume cleaning after recharging;
- different cleaning modes.
Cons:
- average build quality;
- separate dry and wet cleaning.
It's too early to draw definitive conclusions about the effectiveness of the NEATSVOR X600 Pro robot vacuum cleaner and its manufacturer-claimed 6000 Pa suction power. For example, we previously tested NEATSVOR X520, which also claims 6000 Pa, and in real-world conditions, the suction power wasn't surprising, remaining on par with models claiming 2500-2700 Pa. So, the stated specifications in this case are more of a marketing ploy. The X600 Pro's performance will only be fully confirmed after a detailed review and testing.
