Dibea D960

The Dibea D960 is an attractive, stylish, and functionally equipped robot vacuum cleaner made in China. The build quality and construction are average, which is a plus considering its mid-range price (around $200). The robot is suitable for dry cleaning wood floors, tile, parquet, linoleum, carpets, and low-pile carpeting. It also offers a full-fledged wet mop, but only for smooth floors; it does not clean carpets. This robot vacuum cleaner is suitable for home use, hotel rooms, or offices. Appearance
The Dibea D960 robot vacuum cleaner is notable primarily for its D-shaped design and ultra-slim body. The device is made of high-quality black plastic with a glossy finish. Viewed from above, the robot vacuum cleaner features tempered glass with a mirrored surface, lending it a distinctive elegance. All body elements, such as the logo, power button, and dust compartment release button, are silver.
The side of the vacuum cleaner features a rectangular bumper with infrared sensors and a rubber trim to prevent collisions with surrounding objects. It also features a power button and a socket for connecting the power adapter and charging the device directly from a wall outlet.

Functional capabilities
The Dibea D960 robot vacuum cleaner has four main operating algorithms:
- "Lune-line": movement along a trajectory resembling a "zigzag".
- "V-line": V-shaped room cleaning.
- "Edge Cleaning": a mode for cleaning debris and dust along walls and in the corners of rooms.
- "Spot Cleaning": local/spot cleaning mode, or in other words, thorough cleaning of stains on a small area of the floor.
The robot vacuum cleaner has a programmable cleaning schedule by setting a timer to automatically start the device after a certain time.
The Dibea D960 works like this: two side brushes sweep debris toward the center of the device, where there's an additional central turbo brush. This brush, in turn, removes any remaining debris and directs it into the robot's suction channel, from where it's then sucked into the dust collector. Here, dirt and dust undergo double filtration, preventing it from being scattered back into the air.
To enable the robot vacuum to wet-mop the floor, fill the special container with water and install it in place of the regular dust bin. Then, attach a microfiber cloth to the bottom of the vacuum to ensure it is evenly moistened during operation.
In addition to all of the above, the Dibea D960 is equipped with an anti-tangle system to prevent it from getting tangled in various long objects (strings, cords, and fringe). When the vacuum cleaner comes into contact with such objects, the side brushes will begin to rotate in the opposite direction, and the device will attempt to free itself from the tangle.
Advantages and disadvantages
Let's review the main advantages of the Dibea D960:
- Optimal balance between low cost and high efficiency of the device.
- Attractive, stylish, unusual design.
- Ultra-thin body, small dimensions.
- Powerful battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh.
- Charging station and remote control included.
- High suction power, high cleaning efficiency.
- Four different movement algorithms.
- Full wet cleaning.
- Timer and work schedule setting.
- Bumper, infrared sensors against collision and falling.
- Anti-confusion system.
Considering the average price of a robot vacuum cleaner, which in 2018 was around $125, the biggest drawbacks are the lack of a motion limiter and the small dust bin capacity. These other shortcomings are offset by the device's low price.
