Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach: The first upright vacuum cleaner in the robot vacuum manufacturer's lineup

The Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach is the first cordless stick vacuum cleaner from Anker. I previously reviewed it. Eufy robotic vacuum cleaners I think they're definitely worth considering. Now let's see how successful their $150 handheld vacuum is. It's a reasonable price, but we need to understand what the manufacturer offers for that price and, most importantly, how the Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach performs at its core. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:
In addition to the main block, it contains:
- Extension tube.
- Basic floor nozzle.
- Attachment with a soft brush.
- Crevice nozzle.
- Wall-mounted holder for a vacuum cleaner and one of the attachments.
- Fasteners to the holder.
- Operating instructions.
- Power adapter for charging the vacuum cleaner.
The package includes a standard set of accessories. The only thing missing, compared to similar products, is a motorized brush attachment for cleaning mattresses and furniture.
Appearance
Now let's take a look at the Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach's design. Let's start with the main unit.
The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing the trigger button. There's no locking mechanism for the trigger, so you have to constantly hold it down while cleaning, which is inconvenient. A mechanical mode switch is located on the top of the body. There are three modes: medium, maximum, and minimum. Switching modes requires using your other hand.
The charger port is located on the back, under the handle. The battery is removable, which is a plus. A blow-out HEPA filter is located on the end of the main unit. The dust container is easily removed, just like on the Dreame P10 ProIn my opinion, this is one of the most convenient design solutions. The dust collector has an additional HEPA filter and a cyclone. The waste can be emptied out the top by removing the cyclone filter, or you can simply press a button and all the waste will fall out the bottom.
Yes, and it is important to note that there are indicator lights on the side of the handle that signal the remaining battery charge.
Now that we've sorted out the main unit, let's look at how the attachments work. All three attachments are equipped with mechanical locks, which is a plus. The combination attachment allows the bristles to be moved if needed.
Let's take a closer look at the main floor nozzle. I'd like to point out right away that the rollers are rubberized, preventing scratching of the floor while vacuuming. This is a plus. The front LED light helps detect dirt in dimly lit areas.
The brush is released by pressing a mechanical button that opens the latch. There's no need to use an additional tool to remove the latch, as is the case with most other upright vacuum cleaners. And that's a good thing! The brush shaft is equipped with short but very flexible bristles. This design is better suited for cleaning carpets. Unfortunately, a replacement roller for smooth surfaces is not included.
As for the bracket, it can comfortably accommodate all the included attachments, which is a plus.
Overall, the build quality of the Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach is above average. The plastic is high-quality, and we didn't notice any looseness or paint leaks.
Technical specifications
Key Features of the Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach:
| Suction power | ≈120 aW (20 kPa) |
| Battery | Li-Ion 2500 mAh |
| Battery life | 8-40 min |
| Dust collector | 0.65 l |
| Weight | 2.5 kg |
| Noise level | 73-77 dB |
It's worth noting that the main unit weighs 1,639 grams, the extension tube 263 grams, and the main floor nozzle 604 grams. The complete vacuum weighs 2.5 kg. This is quite standard for cordless upright vacuums. The noise level is based on my own measurements, which I demonstrated in my tests. So, let's start with that.
Testing
A detailed video review with all the tests has already been prepared and published on the channel. I recommend watching the video:
Noise level
At minimum power, the Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach's noise level is between 72.5 and 73 dB. At medium power, the noise level increases slightly, reaching 73.5 dB. At maximum power, the peak noise level was 77 dB. This vacuum's noise level is below average, but its power is also not that high.
Suction power
Speaking of actual suction power, it's decent. The Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach was able to suck up debris even from a 10mm gap, so there are no complaints about its power.
Opening hours
We also tested the vacuum's battery life at maximum power. The Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach ran for exactly 8.5 minutes in Turbo mode, as claimed by the manufacturer. That's not a particularly long runtime.
Quality of waste collection
The vacuum cleaner picks up various types of debris from laminate flooring well. It doesn't leave debris along walls or in corners. There are no blind spots, which is a plus. We can see that the brush absorbed the full impact and tangled up the hair. All other debris is collected in the dust bin.
The same debris was scattered on the carpet and the HomeVac S11 Reach cleaned the carpet very thoroughly, leaving no traces of debris.
Even on tile, the vacuum does a good job of cleaning the grout between tiles. Passed this test!
Using additional attachments
But with the help of additional attachments, you can perform spot cleaning, including cleaning car interiors and furniture. Overall, I think you'll find a use for the attachments.
Let's sum it up
The HomeVac S11 Reach has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll share my thoughts on this cordless vacuum cleaner. Among its advantages, I can highlight:
- Good build quality.
- Increased suction power.
- Effective waste collection on different floor coverings.
- The presence of LED backlighting on the main floor nozzle.
- Removable battery.
- Stylish design.
- Convenient storage of all attachments on a wall holder.
- Low noise level.
- Availability of warranty and service support from the manufacturer.
As for the downsides, there are quite a few of them. I didn't like the following:
- There is no motorized brush attachment for cleaning upholstered furniture.
- Charging on a wall mount is not provided.
- Short battery life at maximum power.
- There is no lock for the trigger button in the on position.
- There is no replacement fluff roller for hard surfaces.
If these concerns aren't critical for some, then the Eufy HomeVac S11 Reach is a good option for those with carpets and a budget of up to $150. It accomplished its primary purpose, and just as importantly, the manufacturer is reputable and the product itself is well-built. Therefore, I see no compelling reason not to recommend this cordless vacuum.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
