iRoom is a scam, read the reviews below

A new product on the robot vacuum cleaner market is iRoom (not to be confused with the well-known iRobot Roomba) is designed to remove dust and small debris from rooms. The manufacturer bills the robot vacuum cleaner as a high-tech and multifunctional device that will become an indispensable assistant for maintaining cleanliness and save owners a significant amount of time spent cleaning. However, the robot vacuum cleaner's extremely low price – just $30 – is particularly noteworthy given its features and specifications. Is the iRoom truly that good? Let's find out in today's review.
Equipment
The iRoom package includes:
- Robot vacuum cleaner.
- Power adapter.
- Floor cleaning cloth.
- Operating instructions.
The robot also comes with two side brushes already installed; a spare set of brushes is not included. Other consumables, a remote control, a movement limiter, and a charging base are also not included, so the device must be charged manually from a power outlet. This is all quite reasonable considering the low price.
Design
The robot vacuum cleaner's body is made of durable plastic and is available in two colors: black and black and white. The iRoom is square with rounded corners. The robot is lightweight and compact, particularly its low height, allowing it to easily reach under furniture and sweep up accumulated dust and dirt.
The robot vacuum cleaner's appearance is understated and minimalist: the front panel is bare except for the start button and the dust compartment cover, while the rear panel features wheels, a battery compartment, two side brushes, and a suction port. A small microfiber cloth, dampened with water, can be attached to the bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner for wiping the floor.
Technical specifications
All the characteristics of the iRoom robot vacuum cleaner are summarized in the table:
| Type of cleaning | Dry and wet |
| Power supply | Li-Ion battery; capacity 3600 mAh |
| Opening hours | 90-150 minutes |
| Charging time | 180-240 minutes |
| Power consumption | 320 W |
| Dust container type | Cyclone filter (bagless) |
| Dust collector capacity | 700 ml |
| Noise level | 55 dB |
It's important to note that you won't find a more detailed review of the iRoom robot vacuum's specifications anywhere; for some reason, the manufacturer doesn't disclose them. In fact, information about this model is very limited. However, the manufacturer claims that the device features fall protection, which is certainly a plus.
Functional capabilities
The iRoom robot vacuum cleaner is quite easy to use and operate; even a child can handle it. A single button on the body starts the robot vacuum, after which iRoom begins cleaning the available space. The robot is designed to clean tile, parquet, laminate, linoleum, and low-pile carpet. Cleaning is accomplished with two side brushes that sweep debris from the flooring, which is then sucked into the dust bin through the suction port. The dust bin is equipped with a filter, which allows it to clean not only the floor but also the air being drawn through the vacuum.
The iRoom doesn't come with a charging base, so if the robot runs out of battery, it will remain stationary until you locate it and plug it in to charge. A single charge (three to four hours) provides approximately two hours of battery life. The robot vacuum cleaner produces relatively low noise levels compared to most similar devices on the market. The device doesn't offer multiple operating modes; cleaning is performed by default.
If you want the iRoom robot vacuum to mop as well as sweep, attach a special microfiber cloth to its bottom and dampen it with water beforehand. Unfortunately, this isn't very effective, as the cloth is too small and will dry out quickly.
The robot is also easy to maintain: simply wipe the body and components with a dry cloth and periodically empty the dust collector of accumulated debris.
Advantages and disadvantages
To summarize today's review, we'll try to highlight all the advantages and disadvantages of this robot vacuum cleaner in a separate list.
Pros:
- Low price.
- Small dimensions.
- Good battery.
- Easy to manage and operate.
- Fall protection.
- Wet wiping of the floor.
- Large dust collector.
- Low noise level.
Cons:
- Charging from the network.
- Poor equipment (no consumables, remote control, movement limiter, etc.).
- Low functionality.
- Lots of negative reviews from customers.
Given such a low price, we don't want to list the iRoom's glaring shortcomings; we'll just point out the most obvious ones. But objectively, for $30 you'll never be able to buy a truly effective robot vacuum cleaner capable of fully replacing your manual labor. Considering that there's virtually no information about the robot, and the manufacturer is neither well-known nor popular in the robotics market, we recommend carefully considering all available factors before purchasing this device.
In any case, the model in question is still more of a toy than an effective assistant (as the sellers claim), and, as we've already mentioned, there are many negative reviews online about the company and this robot in general. If you're looking for an affordable model on a budget, we recommend checking out our Best robot vacuum cleaners under $50 The ranking includes more interesting models with better functionality and positive customer reviews.
Finally, we recommend watching a short video review of the iRoom robot vacuum cleaner:

Belarus. I decided to buy the iRoom robot vacuum cleaner, following the advertising. However, I was wary of the lack of clear product information, the nonexistent South Korean brand, contact phone numbers, and, for some reason, the UNP (Unified Taxpayer Identification Number) for Oleg Vladislavovich Frolov, an individual entrepreneur, consisting of only eight digits—19315799—instead of nine. And, well, you know what I mean, plus customs. And the battery capacity was advertised as 2600 mAh versus 1800 on AliExpress, and the dust bag capacity was 0.7 liters versus 0.35. Simply mind-blowing!
I filled out the form and a very friendly girl called back. Everything was great, everything will be alright, warranty, two weeks for inspection, hassle-free returns. I don't live in Minsk, and I started getting fed up with the "tomorrow, in two days, no color, etc." This alarmed me, so I started looking into this individual entrepreneur, O.V. Frolov.
It turned out that over the past few years, he has repeatedly changed his UNP, registration address, type of activity; his real UNP is 193157991.
The order arrived almost a week later. The courier was a private individual, driving his own car. It was packed in a black trash bag. Before paying, I opened it and found a completely different vacuum cleaner inside! They cost between $15 and $20 on AliExpress, and it's more of a toy in terms of functionality. It doesn't even have side brushes! Naturally, I declined. But I took photos of the product and the paperwork. They delivered several, and one was taken right in front of me, unpacked. What joy there will be at home!
The conclusion is that it's a fraudulent scheme that goes virtually unpunished. "If you don't want it, don't take it!" Not everyone will scrutinize the goods when handing over money, so it might work with some. It's unclear where the regulatory authorities—the tax office, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes—are looking. Even I noticed the incorrect UNP number. It makes me think.
Be careful! Sellers of iRoom robot vacuum cleaners in Minsk are SCAMMERS!
I got caught up in this system. I paid for the item upon receipt at the post office, and now I don't know how to get my money back (and it's a hefty sum, 3500 rubles)! 🙁 I emailed a complaint to the address they gave me at the center where I placed the order. They asked for a phone number, so I sent it, and now nothing.
Could you please tell me if you still have these guys' phone number? They sold me a vacuum cleaner yesterday, arranged delivery, and paid for it at the post office. But this morning, after reading the reviews, I decided to back out, and now I can't get through to the number they called from.
And you can't get through. I didn't cancel the order. Now they're calling and threatening me😂😂😂😂 promising that I'll pay them in full. They feel like they're getting away with it!!!
Hello everyone! Don't buy this pig in a poke under any circumstances! And when you receive it, open the package! Scam!!! Beware!!! Fraudsters!
I've already received two of these same vacuum cleaners in the mail as part of a special offer. Now I'm not sure whether to buy them or not. It's clear there's nothing good at that price, but the offer was tempting. I wonder if they'll refund my money if I return them?
No, they won’t return it, and you won’t be able to get through by phone.
Is there a number I can call them? I just got this crap. A ball, just a ball.
I also fell for this scam, there is no feedback from them and no details either, does anyone know how to find them???
I did the same thing again, I placed an order and they called me themselves, and then I told them that I would not pay for your goods and they all canceled the order.
I ordered this vacuum cleaner, I was a fool, I fell for the hype, they sent me crap, neither the characteristics nor the appearance match at all, I'm shocked, I don't know what to do. Maybe someone can help, write me an email.
I bought it today. The product really doesn't match the description. Yes, I ordered white, but it arrived black. There's no wet cleaning feature or side brushes. It's just a round thing with a light in the front and a button in the back. But it does the basic job. I bought it for vacuuming cat hair. It works well, so I won't bother returning it.
I seriously doubt it can handle pet hair. Not all top-end models can, but oh well. Everyone has their own idea of how well a robot should clean.
Don't order under any circumstances. It's a scam. These jerks sent crap, not a robot vacuum cleaner. It's impossible to get through by phone, they don't have a website... If I could find out how to get in touch with them, I'd kill them all.
People, don't order!!!
If anyone knows how to find them, please write.
I was also tempted, I just bought it, and it came with this crap, no brushes, no wet cleaning, it doesn't match at all, the weight of the plastic toy is 400g, and for the weight they put 3 balls of sand, don't be fooled, don't order, I want to try to find feedback from them
They have an ad on Avito.m. Okhotny Ryad. There's a woman there who's great and there's a phone number there.
Here's their phone number: +73432264569. I just fell for their scam. I returned to the post office literally within 20 minutes. But of course, they didn't return the money.
I don't even know what to do. A toy and three pieces of clay.
If you succeed, please let me know.
I bought this "miracle" today. It's completely inaccurate. It's the wrong model, has no side brushes, the container is too small, the plastic is cheap, it only spins in one square meter, and it's useless. They promised to provide all the return details and the service center address, but in the end, I got a disgusting toy with instructions in Chinese and Korean.
Everything is exactly as described above! The question is! How can I deal with such individuals?! I'm so angry and realize I can't do anything. Let the official websites of online stores at least realize that such scammers are ruining their reputations and, consequently, their sales, because I'll be afraid to order from them, expecting another scam.
This is what you need to do: send cash on delivery and don't pick it up at the post office... Let them pay for the shipping there and back...
Just don't make an advance payment.
If they threaten you, politely tell them to... well, you know where, they won't do anything, they're just scammers!
Sincerely.
We fell for the sweet offer and ordered two vacuum cleaners. When we received them in the mail, we were concerned about the weight—1.3 kg for two vacuum cleaners. We didn't buy them—and rightly so, even though the seller had already started calling us, threatening to take us to court if we didn't buy them (!!!). It's very strange that when we were looking at reviews before ordering, we didn't come across this website—we only found good ones. Overall, it's a scam. Don't fall for it.
Do you still have the number from which they called you?
I've never ordered anything like this before, it's just awful, what jerks, I can't even find words for it. Yesterday, I also received a Chinese-made toy in the mail, a white circle, nothing special. The same kind of thing is available online, real ones cost 1,500. I paid 3,500, it's terrifying, let them choke on it.
I got caught too, there's no feedback from them. I called the information center, they said the item had been shipped. I said I wasn't going to buy it, and they offered to send it back at their own expense. Here's the question: if I don't pay, will they call with threats and ignore me? How could this all end??? And is it really something serious, like a lawsuit???
I was also taken in by the price. The package arrived weighing 630g, and I realized it was a scam. Threatening phone calls started coming in as well. I decided not to buy it. I knew if I wasn't satisfied with anything or if the package had a plastic case, I wouldn't get a refund.
I also ordered a white one, and the black one arrived. It's tiny and doesn't collect anything. They gave it to me in a black round bag as a gift, containing sand!! I'm shocked. So no one returned it, right? I couldn't find any feedback on them???
Everything is exactly as described above! Question! How can I deal with such individuals?! I fell for these scammers. I have a child with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair. I bought it so I could have some free time for myself! I devote all my time to my children, and now I have two children, the second is only a year old. How shameful is it to rip people off like this! It makes me angry and I realize there's nothing I can do. I hope the official websites of online stores will at least realize that these scammers are ruining their reputations and, consequently, their sales, because I'll be afraid to order from them, expecting another scam.
I read the reviews and now I don't want to pick it up at the post office!!! They're texting me that I've allegedly won an iPhone 10! It's a complete scam.
So you didn't buy it out??? What happened after you refused?
Please write what the result is?
They definitely can't sue; they have no basis and will go bankrupt suing everyone. My two super vacuum cleaners are at the post office; after reading the reviews, I decided not to pick them up.
I usually don't fall for these kinds of online scams, but in this case... I'll wait for a call and ask for their contact information and address so I can file a complaint. If anyone's interested, welcome—if they give me the information, I'll share it.
I thought these were just mean people writing this and it wouldn't happen to me, but no. The package weighed 1,780, but I was just luckier than everyone else; I got three whole bags of sand. I blocked the ads, of course, but there's really nothing else I can do. I even tried ordering again, but they haven't called.
a complete scam
I appeal to the buyers (I'm one of you) of this miracle robot: everyone needs to file reports with the police and the Prosecutor's Office regarding the fraudulent activities of these companies (there are many of them, they send under different names or from different mailing addresses). We need to at least ruin their mood and New Year's. They're so active and profiting from our ignorance (we should demand a list of the contents and open it upon receipt, then it'll be mail) and our laziness (nobody believes in the effectiveness of the police and doesn't want to waste time), that after a successful pre-New Year's campaign, they'll never give up such "commercial activity." And we'll continue to live in a brazen world of hucksters and scammers who, thanks to impunity, will feel like they're in charge.
I stumbled upon this review site at just the right time. I submitted a request today, they called back, and offered me a few more items at a discount, as I was a newbie. I was surprised by the Max cosmetics set, made in the USA, for 1300 rubles. The set contains about five cosmetics. It's unrealistic for that price, and I was very wary. Since one product costs more than 1300 rubles, I'll refuse if they call me. Thank you so much everyone for your reviews! I was also wary that there's no phone number on the website. It's better to buy an expensive vacuum cleaner from a store.
Hi everyone! I bought this miracle and it arrived, and I was almost speechless. When I asked the manager where it was made, I received an affirmative answer: South Korea. Oh, and what can I say? It doesn't have the advertised brushes, the dust container isn't even 0.2 liters, and it makes as much noise as a decent vacuum cleaner. And the ad shows a completely different device. So, don't fall for this scam, although I've already fallen for it.
Good afternoon! I ordered a vacuum cleaner online, and yesterday I received a call from +79014007393 asking specifically when I'd receive it. I honestly think I should have read the reviews (I couldn't find any right away), and then I started getting threats of lawsuits and fines! I've lost all desire to receive the package. I've realized that reputable sellers don't talk like that!
I'll add to what I've already said! The piece of junk they sent me—I can't even call it a robot vacuum—cost $13, though I wouldn't have bought it in a regular store even for that price, and here I paid $35. I contacted the website listed on the sales receipt, but still haven't received a response. It says you can return it within 7-10 days, but where do I return it and who do I ask for the refund from? Basically, it's a complete scam; don't buy it under any circumstances. This is my last online order; I have no desire to buy a pig in a poke again. It's a shame there's no enforcement against these scammers! Online stores that actually operate honestly, please help punish these scammers. You're also suffering because of them. Once you run into such a lousy seller, you'll never want to buy anything else!
Likewise, I picked up my 3,500 ruble robot vacuum cleaner at the post office today. Not only was the iRoom itself unflatteringly described, but they sent me a total sham, which doesn't even have brushes. The package included three weights, each weighing 500 grams, probably to make it look more substantial. They also included three batteries and a charging cable, which I still haven't figured out where to plug into the vacuum cleaner. The location shown on the box is just a hole! The phone number I called to place the order from, of course, isn't answering. When I was placing the order, the guy immediately asked if I was actually going to pay for and pick up the item. As the famous parodist says, I was even hesitant! So, beware of scammers!
Hello, I ordered two robot vacuums. What arrived was crap. I ordered a white and a black one, and what arrived was two black balls with a light. They don't pick up any debris, including hair! It doesn't match the description at all! They packaged it as a "gift from the company," containing eight stress-relieving sand balls, and they tore. The entire package was covered in sand! Even the unfinished balls got scratched! This is a scam, don't fall for the advertising! It's easier to add more and buy a normal one. Total disappointment!
Thank you, people, for taking the time to tell the truth, thereby preventing others from feeding scammers and con artists! I ordered it yesterday—it was advertised on Instagram—and they called back from +74950661265. I won't be buying it! Thanks again!
I bought the ILIFE V50 dry robot vacuum cleaner on AliExpress this summer. It cost $65.45, and it arrived in Kaliningrad in four days (I picked it up myself, so there's no shipping charge). I bought it on a friend's recommendation, and to say I'm happy would be an understatement! It comes with excellent accessories—spare brushes, a filter, and a damp cloth, plus a charging base and remote control. About 15 people have already bought it based on my recommendation, and everyone is happy! It cleans for about an hour and a half; it's not quiet, but it's manageable. I use it every day.
I also want to thank everyone for writing reviews. I fell for the hype and won't be buying. Today I received a text message saying, "Take your order back or we can sue you for shipping costs!" I'll consult a lawyer about this. I often order goods from online stores, and if I'm not satisfied, I can easily return them at the store's expense. But this! This is the first time I've ever had this happen!
People, don't buy iRoom. It's a scam. They send a toy, not a robot, and sand in the package for weight, and then they say you're getting a gift. They text me that you won an iPhone or a laptop. They called me and said, "Get the package." I told them to open it and look at what's in there, and then I take it. They told me that's not allowed. I told them to leave. Now they're piling up text messages, either fines or they're handing over a case to debt collectors for breach of contract. I didn't sign anything with these clowns. So, a good vacuum cleaner costs at least 8,000 rubles. Don't fall for it, people. Don't feed the scammers. There are tons of people who've been scammed.
Don't fall for the scammers. Buy a toy, not a robot and sand in bags. These are gifts from them.
Thank you so much for the honest reviews. I won't be picking up the package from the post office or paying for it either. They called today and said the package was waiting for me at the post office. I told them I'd read a lot of negative reviews and wouldn't be buying it. They immediately started threatening me with the new law that came into effect this year (they didn't say which one). I'll wait for their call again and then I'll question them (who sent it? Tax ID, address, website, etc.). Thanks for warning others, folks.
Same old nonsense. After reading your reviews, I also changed my mind about picking up my order from the post office. Now you see they're sending text messages saying they've notified the collection agencies. Thanks everyone for the honest reviews!
I also fell for this scam. A package arrived at the post office, I bought it, brought it home, and there was a surprise: the product wasn't what was advertised. There were two anti-stress gifts, sandbags (one tore), a rag, a certificate copied on a piece of paper, instructions, the vacuum cleaner itself, and a charger. I turned it on, it worked, but it did collect a little dust. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!
Absolutely awful! I will never order from the internet again! They're scammers! They sent me two black ones, I ordered a white one on sale, and they sent me two... The product doesn't match what they said it would... A complete scam. They also shoved 5-6 sand balls in the box, supposedly weighing 4 kg... But the light weight is terrible... It's not a vacuum cleaner at all... It doesn't clean... Oh my God... I paid 7208 rubles, let it be on their conscience 🥵😡😤
