So, let's get started!

Video version of the rating for those too lazy to read:

Roborock S7 and T7S

The first new product we will talk about is the long-awaited Roborock S7The robot vacuum cleaner now features a self-cleaning base, a new silicone central brush, and, most importantly, a lifting mechanism for the wet cleaning nozzle.

The manufacturer also boasts an innovative ultrasonic mopping system that will more effectively remove dried-in stains from floors. Thanks to this, the Roborock S7 can simultaneously mop and vacuum, even on carpets. A very useful solution! Of particular note are the lidar navigation system and all the advanced mapping features. The robot vacuum is already available and costs approximately $500-$630 without the base unit.

And that's not all. On March 29th it was announced Roborock T7S, which features everything the S7 does, but also an active camera for object recognition. Now the complete suite of advanced features is complete. We look forward to seeing this flagship hit the market.

Hobot Legee 7

Popular Taiwanese company Hobot also launched its 2021 flagship product, a robotic floor cleaner. Hobot Legee 7It differs from its predecessor primarily in its lidar for navigation.

This allows the robot to create a precise map of the room, store multiple cleaning maps, and, of course, support all the advanced app features, including no-go zones and room selection. We've already tested this robot vacuum; a video review is below. Briefly, it features a unique cleaning module with two movable platforms and four water nozzles. The robot specializes in cleaning hard floors, and its D-shaped body effectively sweeps debris into corners. Sales are scheduled to begin in May 2021. The estimated price is $450.

iRobot Roomba® i3+ and i3

One of the most respected brands on the market, iRobot, has also delighted users with a new product. This time, they're offering the iRobot Roomba i3+ and i3 robot vacuums, with and without a self-cleaning base, respectively. In the US, the version with the base, the i3+, costs $600. Without it, it costs $400. In Russia, they'll cost a little more. Importantly, these robot vacuums don't have advanced navigation. A sensor mounted underneath allows the robot to move around the room in parallel lines rather than randomly, just like robot vacuums with a gyroscope.

Of the other features, it is important to highlight the control via the app, the cleaning system based on two silicone scraper rollers and the ability to clean together with the branded robotic floor polisher. iRobot Braava Jet m6When Roomba finishes dry cleaning, it notifies the floor polisher, which in turn will mop the entire available floor area. Overall, this is the most affordable self-cleaning robot vacuum in the iRobot line, suitable for high-quality dry cleaning in small spaces. Sales in Russia are expected to begin soon.

360 X100 Max/S10

360 not only delighted but also surprised with its new flagship, the 360 X100 Max, also known as the 360 S10. This robot vacuum cleaner features a unique navigation system powered by a hidden lidar sensor that scans the room through a slot in the top of the unit.

This allowed the robot vacuum cleaner to be reduced in height to 8.5 cm. In addition to the lidar sensor, the 360 X100 Max's front bumper also features a sensor that helps recognize objects on the floor. Overall, 360 engineers have done a great job with navigation. The robot vacuum also boasts high suction power, reaching 3300 Pa, and a capacious 5000 mAh battery. Incidentally, the robot is suitable for both dry and wet cleaning. However, they appear to be separate: the dust collector can be replaced with a water tank. The 360 X100 Max can also automatically increase power when it encounters carpets. The model is currently available for pre-order on the Chinese platform Jinggdong for around $500, which at the current exchange rate is just under $400. Hopefully, it will soon be available for order on AliExpress.

Dreame L10 Pro/Z10 Pro/W10

The next entry in our top 10 is the Dreame L10 Pro. Dreame, a Xiaomi sub-brand, has already made a splash with its Dreame F9 and D9 robot vacuums, which are among the most functional in their price ranges. Now, the new Dreame L10 Pro has received another important upgrade: in addition to lidar, this robot vacuum is equipped with an active camera for navigation, as well as Roborock S6 MaxV.

But that's not all: the Dreame L10 Pro boasts suction power of up to 4000 Pa, and the price tag will likely be 20 percent lower. Sales are likely scheduled to begin in May 2021. It's also possible that two other announced models will hit the market simultaneously with the Dreame L10 Pro: the Dreame Bot Z10 Pro with a self-cleaning base and the Dreame Bot W10 robotic cleaner, which is identical in design to the Narwal T10.

Speaking of the latter, it's a unique robot vacuum cleaner with a base that automatically rinses, washes, and dries its cleaning cloths. At one time, there were high hopes that this robot would appear on our market, but the miracle didn't happen. Meanwhile, Dreame is highly likely to successfully enter the Russian market with three new flagship models. I hope this will happen as early as 2021.

Xbot L7 Smart

Xbot is a relatively new company. So far, we've only gotten a detailed look at the new product. Xbot L7 Pro with a self-cleaning base and lidar for navigation. And the opinion about this robot was very positive, it took one of the leading positions in our overall ranking of robotic vacuum cleaners, which passed the test at robovac.washerhouse.com. In 2021, the lineup will be expanded with a more advanced model, the Xbot L7 Smart, which is also equipped with lidar for navigation and a self-cleaning base.

The updated robot vacuum cleaner features a combined water and dirt tank, rather than a nozzle, and a redesigned base. The base now features indicators and control buttons. Otherwise, the robot boasts a robust 5200 mAh battery, suction power up to 2700 Pa, and the ability to clean floors in a Y-pattern. All this functionality comes at a very reasonable price—around $550 including the base.

Neatsvor S600

A new player has recently entered the robot vacuum cleaner market: Neatsvor. This manufacturer's lineup consists of only three robot vacuum cleaners: the smaller X500 and X520 with a gyroscope, as well as a flagship Neatsvor X600So here's the next new product – Neatsvor S600.

Its main feature is its self-cleaning base. This is essentially how it differs from the X600, which we previously reviewed. The specifications remain unchanged. The robot is equipped with a powerful motor capable of delivering up to 4000 Pa of suction power and a lidar system for navigation.

Other features worth highlighting include dry and wet cleaning, as well as all the useful map functionality, such as support for no-go zones and cleaning zones in the app. Prices for all of this start at $320.

LIECTROUX XR500

Moving on. The next new product worth mentioning is the LIECTROUX XR500. It replaces the 2020 flagship. LIECTROUX ZK901, which we had for testing.

The main addition to this robot is multi-map support. It can now store multiple maps in its memory. Otherwise, it's a fairly standard robot vacuum cleaner with lidar and a wet mopping function. This model's water tank replaces the dust collector, so it can't vacuum and mop simultaneously. Its suction power is only 2000 Pa, and the battery is a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery. The exact price and release date are still unknown. The robot is slated to go on sale in May 2021.

Samsung JetBot 90 AI

But if you are looking for a reliable multifunctional robot vacuum cleaner from a reputable brand, then you should pay attention to the new product Samsung JetBot 90 AIThis robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with lidar for navigation, a camera for object recognition, and a self-cleaning base.

The robot vacuum cleaner's proprietary mobile app creates a room map, allowing you to set no-go zones and select cleaning zones. The robot is suitable for dry cleaning only and is likely quite powerful, making it a serious competitor to both iRobot and Roborock in terms of cleaning performance. Unfortunately, the release date and price of the Samsung JetBot 90 AI are currently unknown. However, the robot vacuum is expected to go on sale in 2021.

Eufy Robovac L80

The latest new product, announced in January 2021 at CES, is the Eufy Robovac L80. Little is known about this robot yet, but we do know that it features lidar for navigation, an optional wet mopping function, and very high suction power (up to 4000 Pa, according to the manufacturer).

According to information on foreign websites, the suction power was increased by adding an additional motor to the robot. This means it's equipped with two motors, a unique solution on the market, if that's true. Sales are scheduled to begin in June 2021. The price is expected to be under $600. The Eufy Robovac L80 is suitable for dry cleaning only, while the Eufy Robovac L80 Hybrid is capable of both dry and wet cleaning.

So, we've reviewed the best new robot vacuum cleaners of 2021. We see that the market for household cleaning robots continues to grow rapidly, with robots becoming smarter, more powerful, and more functional each year. We hope to be able to test the flagship models and demonstrate their real-world cleaning performance, as well as other features. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
