Which robot vacuum cleaner is better: with or without a turbo brush?

All robot vacuum models are designed to clean smooth hard floors with varying levels of efficiency, depending on the device's technical specifications and features. However, not every device is capable of cleaning carpets, despite manufacturer claims. For thorough cleaning of carpets and rugs, it's best to use only a robot vacuum with a turbo brush, while models without a turbo brush are better suited for smooth floors. In this article, we'll look at the most effective robot vacuums with and without a turbo brush in 2021. The best choice is up to you, based on your needs and budget.
What is a turbo brush for?
The turbo brush is a special brush whose design features allow:
- clean carpet pile from small debris;
- get rid of dust;
- remove complex, stubborn stains from any surface;
- clean the floor from hair and wool.
Thus, the advantages of robotic vacuum cleaners with a turbo brush are:
- effective cleaning of all types of stains (including old ones) from carpets and rugs;
- cleaning floors from hair and pet fur.
The main drawback of robots with a turbo brush is the need to constantly clean it of tangled hair and fur. Furthermore, some models don't have a protective cover on the turbo brush, so it can pick up various floor items (socks, belts, etc.).
By the way, here's what the turbo brushes of the robot vacuum cleaners included in the rating look like and how they work:

I've had both. Now I have a Genio Deluxe 500 turbo brush. Actually, I have two—one rubber, one with bristles. It all depends on your goals, and the type of floor you're cleaning. I have carpets, and the bristle turbo brush works well, while the rubber one cleans floors really well. I'm glad I got this one.
What kind of robot is this, the Xbot L7 Pro? I can't find it anywhere. Maybe it has an alternative name?
