Testing

A detailed video review with all tests has already been prepared and published on the channel:

Navigation and window cleaning quality

And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll check how the Liectroux YW810 performs at its primary task – cleaning windows from the outside. We'll also be able to evaluate its navigation. The robot's first pass over the windows collects all the dirt. It's recommended not to wet the wipes to reduce the risk of smearing dirt across the glass.

For the second pass, you can fill the robot with water, spray a little water or cleaning agent onto the wipes, and turn on the automatic liquid spray.

Let's compare the condition of the windows before and after:

Window cleaning quality

Here I will just note that the weak point of all window cleaning robots without exception, including this one, is that corners remain unwashed due to the design features of the cleaning module.

Otherwise, the window cleaning quality is on par with similar products. It also navigates narrow windows without a problem! No complaints about the navigation!

Application on other surfaces

This robot can also be used to clean tiled walls, shower stalls, and mirrors. It's worth noting that the Liectroux YW810 can gently move away from the edges of frameless surfaces without losing its grip. That's a plus!

But for those interested, this window cleaning robot can't function properly on horizontal surfaces. The navigation algorithm is faulty. Moreover, when approaching an edge, the robot lost traction and malfunctioned.

Emergency mode

Finally, I'll tell you about the Liectroux YW810's emergency mode. When disconnected from the power supply, the robot starts beeping and the red indicator on both sides flashes.

In my opinion, the tweeter is quiet, at least quieter than its analogues

Let's sum it up

The Liectroux YW810 window cleaning robot was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll summarize and share my personal opinion of the robot after using it. Here's what I liked:

  1. Good quality window cleaning.
  2. Double-sided automatic spraying of cleaning liquid onto the surface.
  3. Control via app and remote control.
  4. The thin body allows the robot to be used on windows with bars.
  5. Capable of washing frameless surfaces.
  6. Good navigation.
  7. Work on small windows.
  8. The robot's versatility. It's suitable for cleaning not only windows, but also glass doors, mirrors, and wall tiles.
  9. Affordable price.

As for the shortcomings, the following were found:

  1. It doesn't wash into the corners.
  2. Does not work on horizontal surfaces.
  3. The quiet beep was in emergency mode.

Overall, the advantages and disadvantages are quite typical for this type of equipment and in this price range. We found no compelling reasons not to recommend this robot, so if you're interested, you can order it.

On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
