Appearance

What can we say about the robot vacuum cleaner's appearance? The Proscenic M7 Pro's design is very modern and stylish, thanks to its minimalism and lack of unnecessary elements. A lidar sensor (LDS) is mounted on the top for 360-degree room scanning and mapping. Also, when viewing the robot from the front, we see a single round button divided into two parts: the top one is used to turn the device on, while the bottom one is used to force the device to return home to its base.

Overall, the design is reminiscent of robotic vacuum cleaners from the Xiaomi and Viomi families (especially similar to Viomi V2 Pro). On the side of the robot vacuum cleaner there is a protective bumper, ventilation holes, and a button for removing the dust container.

On the back of the Proscenic M7 Pro are the drive wheels on the sides, the front wheel, the battery compartment, the turbo brush, the side brushes, the contact pads for automatic recharging on the docking station, and special elements in the dust collector area for operation on the intelligent automatic dust collection station.

The robot vacuum cleaner has the ability to overcome significant obstacles up to 20 millimeters high, which is higher than most other robot vacuum cleaners. This allows the device to easily transition from carpets to hard floors and vice versa.

The overall dimensions are standard: 350 x 350 x 98 millimeters. It's also worth noting that the device is equipped with 24 different sensors around its perimeter, allowing it to handle even the most challenging cleaning conditions.

Functional capabilities

One of the key advantages and features of this robot model is its upgraded 4.0 laser navigation system. Now, the robot vacuum cleaner can intelligently scan the space and create a precise map, taking into account the shape of rooms and the location of all obstacles, and plan its route accordingly. The map is generated in real time and displayed in the ProscenicHome smartphone app.

The Proscenic M7 Pro creates a room map and remembers it after the first cleaning cycle. This means the device doesn't need to remap each time. Furthermore, it can save more than one map, meaning users can save multi-story maps in the app, which is very convenient for homes with multiple floors.

The second key feature is the self-cleaning base. This allows the robot to automatically empty the dust bin and continue cleaning.

The bag itself can be easily removed from the base to be replaced with a new one.

The robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a Nidec brushless motor, which generates suction power of up to 2600 Pa in maximum mode. Three different suction levels are available. This means the Proscenic M7 Pro can easily remove dirt, dust, hair, and pet hair not only from hard floors but also effectively clean carpets and rugs. The price is generally good, but given the lack of a warranty and the brand's low popularity, not many people are willing to buy this model. However, in terms of specifications and features, this robot vacuum cleaner can compete with all similar models.

The only drawback is that the wet cleaning function is limited to a nozzle that attaches to the bottom of the unit. A separate tank installed alongside the dust collector would be better.
