The kit is well-equipped, with all the necessary consumables for the robot's initial use. That's a plus. Let's move on!

Appearance

Now let's take a look at the NEATSVOR S600's design. Let's start with the robot itself. It's round and comes in white. The body stands approximately 10 cm above the floor.

A dust container is installed at the rear and is washable with water. It features a triple filtration system: foam, HEPA, and mesh filters. The container conveniently stores a tool for cleaning the dust container. The container holds up to 600 ml of dry waste. It has a vent with a curtain for self-cleaning at the station.

Dust collector

A water tank can be installed in place of the dust collector. The tank holds up to 350 ml of water. A pump is installed inside to electronically regulate the water flow. The container has a small compartment for collecting debris. It's important to note that with the water tank installed, the NEATSVOR S600 does not vacuum debris; it only sweeps it and throws it into this compartment with the brushes. The cloth is attached to the base of the tank with Velcro. Water is supplied through six holes.

The robot's underside is equipped with three fall protection sensors. Dirt is collected using two side brushes and a central brush. The turbo brush has bristles and petals, and one side can be removed to remove tangled hair and fur. The central brush unit is non-floating. It's also important to note that the NEATSVOR S600 is not self-cleaning when the water tank is installed. It only charges at the charging station.

Now let's look at how the self-cleaning station works. The dust bag is located under the top cover and can hold 2.8 liters of dry waste. The suction port is located on the bottom. The power cord is not removable, and there's no storage compartment for excess cord, which is a shame. The waste discharge channel underneath can be removed for cleaning.

Overall, the build quality of the NEATSVOR S600 is budget-mid-range, just like its price segment.

Technical specifications

The main characteristics of NEATSVOR S600, as stated by the manufacturer:

  • Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
  • Suction power up to 6000 Pa.
  • Station power: 1000 W.
  • Cleaning area up to 250 sq.m.
  • Battery life up to 150 min.
  • Dust collector 600 ml.
  • Water tank 350 ml.
  • Garbage bag: 2.8 l.
  • Obstacle clearance up to 2 cm.
  • Dimensions 330*98 mm.

Of the specifications, the only important one to highlight is the very high claimed suction power, which will certainly be verified in real-world tests. Otherwise, the specifications are quite standard for a modern lidar robot.

Functional capabilities

Let's move on to an overview of the NEATSVOR S600's features. The robot vacuum is controlled via the SmartLife app. Connection is straightforward; just follow the manufacturer's instructions.

On the main control panel, the robot vacuum cleaner creates a room map and automatically divides it into rooms. In addition to automatic cleaning of the entire available area, you can set a spot cleaning point on the map, select rooms, and select cleaning zones. When selecting zones, you can set the robot to double-pass. You can also set virtual walls and no-go zones, including separate no-go zones for wet cleaning mode.

In the map editor, you can manually edit room boundaries, name them, and set up a custom mode. In this mode, you can individually adjust the suction power, water flow level, and the number of robot passes (one or two) for each room.

The settings section includes manual robot control, a maps section where the robot can store up to five unique maps, flexible cleaning schedules that allow for the selection of the number of passes and the desired rooms to clean, manual power and water flow adjustments, and voice alert volume and language settings. It's important to note that the NEATSVOR S600 can speak Russian.

Settings and functions

In addition, you can view the cleaning log, track the status of consumables, set the time when the robot should not disturb you, and set the frequency of the robot's self-cleaning.

It's also worth noting that the NEATSVOR S600 supports control via popular voice assistants, including Yandex Alice—a plus!

What's missing, however, is the ability to vacuum with the water tank installed and an automatic power boost when driving onto carpeted floors. This is important to consider.

Testing

A detailed video review of the NEATSVOR S600 has already been prepared and published on the channel. I recommend watching the video:

Navigation

Finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll test the NEATSVOR S600's navigation in a room with obstacles. First, the robot vacuum cleaner traverses the entire accessible area, then follows a zigzag pattern. The dryer's legs presented a bit of a challenge, but the robot was able to free itself and continue cleaning. It swept around all the chair legs, but not around the box, which is rather odd. Otherwise, navigation was straightforward.

When it comes to navigating within the home, the NEATSVOR S600 goes room by room, first along the perimeter, then in a serpentine pattern. Cleaning speed is high, and there are no uncleaned areas. This test was passed.

Suction power

Speaking of suction power, despite its claimed 6000 Pa, in a real-world test, the NEATSVOR S600 was only able to vacuum debris from 2 and 4 mm deep crevices, while many other robots claiming 4000 Pa were able to vacuum debris from as little as 10 mm. The claimed extreme power wasn't confirmed in real-world conditions, but it's worth noting that this model still offers increased suction power compared to similar models.

Dry cleaning of laminate flooring

Dry cleaning performance on laminate floors is good. The robot vacuum was able to pick up most of the debris from the floor. This included not only small household debris but also pet hair and hair. Only a small amount of debris remained in the corners, where almost all round robots on the market fail to clean effectively. Some pet hair and hair were caught in the center brush. The bulk of the debris was collected in the dust bin. Test passed successfully!

Carpet cleaning

The same debris was scattered on the carpet. The NEATSVOR S600 picked up most of the debris, leaving behind a small amount of bread crumbs that got tangled in the pile. The carpet cleaning performance was average. If the central brush unit had a floating brush, I think the results would have been better.

Carpet cleaningCarpet cleaning

Carpet cleaning

Wet cleaning

There are also some complaints about the quality of the dirt removal. The cloth adheres well to the floor and removes traces of dried-on dirt. However, the cloth itself is not very thick, does not absorb dirt well, and given the generous water supply even on the lowest setting, significant streaks remain after driving. This test was failed.

Wet cleaning

Wet cleaning and carpets

Regarding wet cleaning on carpeted floors, the NEATSVOR S600 doesn't recognize carpets, so it doesn't avoid them in wet cleaning mode, nor does it turn off the water supply when driving over carpeted floors. Therefore, it's best to protect carpets with separate no-go zones for wet cleaning.

Self-cleaning quality

The self-cleaning performance isn't perfect, but it's on par with most other self-cleaning robots. Almost all waste is discharged into the station.

Obstacle clearance

However, the stated obstacle clearance doesn't match the stated 2 cm. During testing, the robot was unable to overcome a 2 cm threshold and isn't even always capable of crossing a 1.5 cm threshold. The robot's cross-country ability leaves much to be desired.

Driving on dark surfaces

The NEATSVOR S600 is sensitive to dark surfaces, detecting them by elevation changes, like most other robot vacuums. This is worth keeping in mind.

Noise level

As for the noise level, with the suction off and the water tank installed, it's between 56-58 dB. In "Quiet" mode, the noise level rises to 65-67 dB, in Standard mode it reaches 71 dB, and at maximum power, the peak was 81 dB. Yes, this is a noisy robot vacuum, despite its slightly higher power.

Personal opinion

The NEATSVOR S600 robot vacuum cleaner has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. According to our rating system, it achieved a score of 68 out of 100 pointsThe result isn't very high for a self-cleaning lidar robot vacuum, due to a number of issues I'll discuss below.

Overall rating of robot vacuum cleaners tested on robovac.washerhouse.com: https://robovac.washerhouse.com/en/rejtingi/robovac-obshhij-rejting-robotov-pylesosov-robo.html.

Now I'll share my personal opinion of the robot after testing it. I liked the following:

  1. Availability of a self-cleaning station.
  2. Good equipment.
  3. Good quality dry cleaning on laminate.
  4. Slightly increased suction power.
  5. The app's functionality allows you to flexibly customize cleaning parameters.
  6. Support for voice assistants, including Yandex Alice.
  7. Budget-friendly price for a lidar self-cleaning robot.

As for the disadvantages, there are also quite a few of them:

  1. High noise level during operation.
  2. Fear of dark floor coverings.
  3. The robot is not capable of vacuuming and mopping the floor at the same time.
  4. Poor obstacle clearance.
  5. There is no automatic power increase function on carpets.
  6. Streaks remain when wiping off dirt.

Ultimately, I had mixed feelings about the robot after testing it. On the one hand, the price is appealing, and it could be even lower during sales. On the other hand, there are numerous complaints about the robot, including its outdated design with replaceable containers. At $400, there are better self-cleaning models available, such as the same Dreame Bot D10 Plus or Midea S8+So, it's up to you to decide whether to buy it or not. I would recommend the NEATSVOR S600 for cleaning primarily hard floors without carpets, and if the price is very attractive, say, closer to $300.

On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!

Hello, the Neatsvor S600 sweeper operates normally at a decibel level of 72-75 dB. The decibel level can be controlled by adjusting the suction power. When the family is fast asleep, the suction power can be adjusted to a low level so it doesn't interfere with their rest. Additionally, this machine has a 600 ml dust bin and 350 ml water tank. The separate cleaning system has a larger capacity than the two-in-one dust bin and water tank, which can handle large area cleaning needs. If you want to clean without leaving marks, we recommend not adding detergent during use. Regarding the machine's sensitivity to carpet, since black carpet absorbs the infrared rays emitted by the break sensor, the break sensor will detect a break and reverse the machine. We demonstrate the capabilities of our equipment and help you make the right choice. With our equipment, you'll have more time to do what you love.
