But during sales, you can snag it for as little as $210 or $255. I haven't seen a self-cleaning alternative from a reputable brand at this price. Besides self-cleaning, the iLIFE T10s boasts lidar navigation, a wet mopping function, a mopping mode, and all the necessary features for automatically maintaining a clean home. Below, I'll thoroughly test the iLIFE T10s and then express my opinion on whether it's worth buying. So, let's get started!

Appearance

Now let's take a look at the iLIFE T10s's design. Let's start with the robot vacuum itself. It's black and blue, which makes it a striking design. Its round body is complemented by wall sensors on both sides, which is a plus. The body is slightly lower in height than similar robot vacuums, at around 93 mm.

A lidar sensor is responsible for navigation. There is no spring-loaded lidar cover. The control panel contains two mechanical buttons and a Wi-Fi connection indicator.

The combined water and dust container is removed from the rear. The HEPA filter is not washable, but the mesh and foam filter are. A QR code for downloading the robot's mobile app is located on the body. The dust container holds up to 250 ml of water. It features a triple filtration system: HEPA, foam, and mesh filters. The water tank holds 240 ml. A pump is installed inside to electronically regulate the amount of liquid delivered to the cleaning cloth.

A nozzle with a cloth attached to the container is like this one. The cloth is attached to the nozzle with Velcro. Water is supplied through three holes.

The robot has three anti-fall sensors installed underneath. It has two side brushes, three-beam and quick-release. The central brush unit is non-floating. The turbo brush itself is made of bristles and petals, and can be removed on both sides to remove tangled hair and fur. This is a plus.

As for the station, the robot only self-empties trash. There's no platform for the robot to drive onto, which would protect floors from contact with a wet wipe. Charging terminals and a docking ledge are located near the suction opening of the garbage chute. The trash bag is located under the top cover. It's a standard size and holds up to 2.5 liters of dry trash.

Overall, the robot's design is budget-friendly, but that's understandable given the price, especially during sales. There are no serious design issues.

I'll point out that the battery life and off-road capability are weak, which isn't great. But then again, it's not critical.

As for functions, the iLIFE T10s is surprisingly controlled via the SmartLife app, not the proprietary one. Connection was seamless. The app interface is in Russian, but some phrases are poorly translated, which takes some getting used to.

And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll test the iLIFE T10s's navigation in a room with obstacles. The robot vacuum first moves around the perimeter of the room, then cleans the entire accessible area in a serpentine pattern. The dryer's legs presented no particular problems. It also swept around the box and chair legs separately, then returned to the station. The test was successful.

Speaking of navigation within the home, the iLIFE T10s cleans room by room, first along the perimeter, then in a serpentine pattern. There are no uncleaned areas, the cleaning speed is high, and this model has excellent navigation!

Suction power

In terms of suction power, the robot managed to completely vacuum debris from a 2 mm-deep gap and, in one spot, lightly clean a 4 mm-deep gap. So, the suction power is slightly increased. It's sufficient for cleaning hard floors and low-pile carpets.

Dry cleaning

The collection quality of various types of debris on laminate floors is acceptable. Some debris remains in corners, where round robotic vacuums fail to sweep. The robot also, for some reason, didn't completely sweep along the baseboards near the corners, although this doesn't happen with most other models. We can see that the turbo brush bore the brunt of the cleaning, tangling up fur and hair. The rest of the debris was collected in the dust bin.

When it comes to cleaning carpets, the robot vacuum cleaner did a better job than its predecessor. It picked up most of the debris, but it did miss a few clumps of fur and hair. This is likely due to the non-floating central brush assembly and the lack of power.

The self-cleaning function was tested separately. We tested the robot vacuum in a room with a large amount of debris, which it picked up without any problems. We saw that the dust bin was completely full. We started the self-cleaning function and saw that the debris had completely emptied into the bag. This model's self-cleaning feature is well implemented!

The iLIFE T10s handled light dirt and grime removal. Only a narrow, unwashed area along the baseboard remained, a weak point of all the robots reviewed. Test passed!

It's also worth noting that the iLIFE T10s can vacuum and mop at the same time, which is a good thing.

Regarding wet cleaning on carpets, the iLIFE T10s does not detect carpets and therefore does not automatically avoid them when the cleaning cloth is attached. It's worth noting that the suction power increases when the cleaning cloth is attached. In any case, you can protect carpets from getting wet by setting no-go zones for wet cleaning.

The robot vacuum cleaner is unable to overcome thresholds as high as 20 mm. However, it can overcome 15 mm thresholds. However, the manufacturer specifies a maximum obstacle clearance height of 18 mm.

Noise level

As for noise levels, they range from 60 to 73.5 dB, depending on the selected power level. At medium power, they reach 65-66 dB, which is in line with similar models. However, this model's noise level is still high, despite its standard power level.

Issues discovered

During operation, I discovered several issues that I'd like to highlight. First, the power would randomly increase for short periods of time, even when cleaning on hard surfaces. The automatic power boost mode sometimes behaves incorrectly. Second, for some reason, when selecting maximum power in the settings, the iLIFE T10s automatically resets to the standard power after 10-15 seconds. It's unclear why this happens. Personal opinion

Well, it's time to sum it up. our evaluation system iLIFE T10s was able to dial 116 pointsConsidering the price and capabilities, the result is quite good. It managed to outperform such self-cleaning competitors as Proscenic M8 Pro, Kyvol Cybovac S31 and even Lydsto S1.

I'll share my personal opinion about the robot I reviewed. I liked the following:

  1. Very good price during sales period.
  2. The presence of lidar and self-cleaning at this price.
  3. Capable of vacuuming and mopping the floor at the same time.
  4. Advanced wet cleaning mode with a Y-shaped trajectory.
  5. The app offers a wide range of features to help you easily customize your cleaning settings.
  6. The robot vacuum cleaner is not afraid of black surfaces.
  7. Good equipment.

Regarding the shortcomings, the following comments were identified:

  1. The battery is a bit weak.
  2. Unable to cross 2 cm thresholds.
  3. High noise level in Turbo mode.
  4. The suction power automatically drops from Turbo mode to standard mode after some time of operation.

Ultimately, I can say the iLIFE T10s is definitely worth the money. Yes, it's not perfect, and there are some issues. But for many, these won't be significant. The only odd thing is the last comment, but perhaps that's just me. In any case, few people use robotic vacuums in Turbo mode; most often, they run them at standard power to extend the motor's lifespan and increase battery life.
