KaringBee M1: Upright vacuum cleaner with self-cleaning and roller drying

The KaringBee M1 upright vacuum cleaner, priced between $160 and $180, or $200 and $225, boasts two operating modes, a large clean water tank, a removable battery, and, most notably, a self-cleaning roller drying function. Overall, it's a decent set of features for a reasonable price. So, I've shown you how the KaringBee M1 works, how it performs at its core function, and then offered my opinion on whether it's worth buying. Let's get to the review!
Equipment
The washing vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:
The package includes:
- Removable handle.
- Removable battery.
- Charging and self-cleaning station for vacuum cleaner.
- Power adapter.
- A roller holder that attaches to the station.
- Vacuum cleaner cleaning tool.
- Spare roller.
- Spare HEPA filter.
- Documentation in Russian.
The kit is well-equipped, and there are even spare consumables. That's a plus!
Appearance
Let's take a look at the design of the KaringBee M1. It's a standard cordless vacuum cleaner.
Let's start with the cleaning module. It features a soft-bristled roller, suitable for cleaning hard floors. On both sides, the roller doesn't extend to the edge of the body, leaving a small blind spot, though it's smaller on the right side.
The top cover is removable. Behind the roller is a rubber scraper, a suction hole, and a metal insert for cleaning hair and other debris from the roller as it rotates.
Above the cleaning module is a 500 ml dirty water tank. It contains a HEPA filter with a mesh screen, a float to monitor the water level in the tank, and a coarse filter.
Even higher up is the 800 ml clean water tank. At the bottom, we see a mesh filter for pre-purifying the liquid.
Above this tank is a removable 2500 mAh battery, which houses the so-called display. However, it's not a display, but simply a set of backlit indicators, in my opinion.
The handle contains three mechanical control buttons: on/off, mode selection, and self-cleaning. There are two operating modes: standard and maximum power.
As for the station, it charges the vacuum, self-cleans, and dries the roller. Drying occurs with room-temperature air. But thanks to the drying time of a full six hours, the roller has time to dry completely—I tested this.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of KaringBee M1, as declared by the manufacturer:
- Battery: Li-Ion, 2500 mAh.
- Power: 220 W.
- Working time: up to 30 min.
- Clean water tank: 800 ml.
- Dirty water tank: 500 ml.
- Noise level: up to 78 dB.
- Weight: 4.5 kg.
It's important to note that the noise level was personally tested. It was found to be between 72-78 dB, as stated by the manufacturer. This wet/dry vacuum cleaner's noise level is comparatively low.
Testing
A detailed video review of the KaringBee M1, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
And finally, let's move on to the tests. The KaringBee M1 performs well in everyday floor cleaning, both on wood and tile. It doesn't leave streaks and, when used correctly, won't damage delicate flooring.
This cordless vacuum cleaner can be used not only for cleaning floors but also for vacuuming up liquids. And, as in my case, it even passed the now-traditional test of picking up a mixture of raw egg and flour. It took a while to suck up the eggshell, but it finally managed to suck it into the dirty water tank.
The KaringBee M1 can also be used to clean slightly dried-on dirt from floors. As you can see, there are no marks or streaks left. The floor is perfectly clean.
Since the roller doesn't extend to the edge of the cabinet, a narrow, unwashed strip remains along the baseboard. It's approximately 18 mm wide.
This vacuum cleaner even removed tough, dried-on coffee and sauce stains. As with similar products, it took some time to remove the sauce stains. I used only water, without detergent, as the manufacturer doesn't offer one. It took about 10 minutes. And that's an average result. For example, the most powerful similar products with proprietary detergent complete this test in no less than 4.5 minutes.
Additionally, the KaringBee M1 can be used for dry cleaning, provided you don't add clean water to the tank. It can pick up various types of debris from the floor. There's a small blind spot in the corner where the roller can't pick up debris.
This cordless vacuum cleaner can also be used for cleaning carpets. Again, without adding water to the tank, as there's no dry suction mode. Even though the roller design isn't suitable for carpet cleaning, it still manages to pick up pet hair and fur from carpeting.
But keep in mind that this vacuum cleaner's operating principle isn't suitable for using without water. Some hair and fur gets caught in the roller, while the rest sticks to the HEPA filter, reducing suction power and causing the motor to overwork. Therefore, I still recommend using this vacuum cleaner with water.
And finally, the final test—we check the self-cleaning performance after all the tests. First, we drain the dirty water from the tank and add clean water to the second tank, as recommended by the manufacturer. We run the self-cleaning cycle, which lasts about a minute, and then check the cleaning module.
There was some dirt remaining on the base itself, under the roller, as was observed with other vacuum cleaners after such rigorous testing. There was also some dirt on the lid. However, the roller itself was clean. In a domestic environment, the self-cleaning function works more effectively and cleans all components better. So, there are no major complaints about the self-cleaning function.
Personal opinion
The KaringBee M1 upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I can say it's a truly impressive value for the money and, in many ways, practically on par with more expensive alternatives. Let's take things one step at a time. I liked the following:
- Capable of removing dirt without leaving streaks or marks.
- Suitable not only for washing floors, but also for collecting liquids.
- The roller drying function on the station is actually very effective.
- The presence of a HEPA filter, which not all inexpensive washing vacuum cleaners can boast.
- Removable battery.
- Acceptable self-cleaning quality.
- Good equipment.
- Optimal price.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Among the disadvantages I would highlight:
- A narrow, non-washable strip remains along the baseboard and furniture, as well as in the corners.
- There is no carpet cleaning roller.
- There is no suction mode without water supply.
Overall, considering the price, most of the complaints are quite forgivable, and some are common to most cordless wet/dry vacuum cleaners. No critical flaws were found, and at $160, it's a very attractive option. It's definitely worth considering if you're interested in a wet/dry vacuum cleaner but aren't willing to shell out $250–$300 like other models.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!

Greetings!
Thank you for your work, it's a very large amount of work and not easy, I can judge by how much my wife wants a vacuum cleaner or a robot vacuum cleaner and I've been looking and listening for four months now, even trying to somehow distribute everything in a table, but my head is still spinning!
In the end, of course, I more or less made up my mind before the price jump (and instead of a cordless washing vacuum cleaner, I'll get my wife a robotic vacuum cleaner with a washing station and the ability to connect to plumbing ducts).
And my choice fell on the Xiaomi Omni Robot Vacuum Mop 1S, (B116), but the price is slow(((
From all the above lyrics, forgive me, I would like to know your opinion about the KaringBee brand, in particular about the KaringBee S7 OMNI robot vacuum cleaner. Perhaps you could make a review, since there is little information about it, and your attention has not been given (((
Since he flattered me by saying it was in Russian, Alice can be used and there's no need to dance with tambourines about a Chinese account. And of course, the price is significant: 46,000 rubles compared to 60,000 rubles for the Xiaomi Omni Robot Vacuum Mop 1S (B116), and you still have to look for that one (
Thank you again in advance for your work!
And attention!
Sincerely, Alexey!
