Dreame T30: A powerful upright vacuum cleaner with a full set of attachments

The Dreame T30 upright vacuum cleaner, priced at approximately $250-310 (or $300-380 at the exchange rate at the time of writing), features a powerful motor that delivers up to 190 watts of suction power. It also comes with a full set of attachments and a smart automatic mode that automatically adjusts suction power based on the level of dirt on the floor and the type of flooring. Below, I'll thoroughly test the Dreame T30, discuss its pros and cons, and then share my opinion on whether it's worth buying. Let's get started!

The vacuum cleaner arrived in this branded box:
The package includes:
- Main block.
- Extension tube.
- Basic floor nozzle.
- Wall holder with fasteners.
- Power adapter.
- An attachment with a motorized brush for cleaning upholstered furniture and mattresses.
- Bendable connector.
- Connector with flexible hose.

The kit is good, it has all the necessary attachments for a complete cleaning.
Appearance
Now let's take a look at the Dreame T30's design. Let's start with the main unit. The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing a trigger. On the end is an informative display and two mechanical buttons: one for switching operating modes and one for locking the power button. The vacuum cleaner offers automatic, Eco, standard, and Turbo modes. Operation is convenient and can be done with one hand. In automatic mode, the Dreame T30 automatically adjusts suction power depending on the type of flooring and how dirty it is.
The battery is removable, which is a great feature. It has a status indicator light. The handle houses a power adapter port. The vacuum cleaner also charges on a wall mount, which is also very convenient.
The dust container is completely detachable from the main unit. A pre-motor HEPA filter is installed within the main unit itself. The dust container itself is conveniently emptied with the press of a button. Debris falls out through the bottom. The flask houses a filtration system consisting of a fabric filter, a cyclone, and a mesh. Additionally, an additional sponge filter is visible in the exhaust vents. In total, there's at least a 5-stage filtration system, which is a big plus!
Let's look at the main floor nozzle. It's the same as the Dreame V12 Pro, which we tested earlier. The top is clear plastic, allowing you to visually assess the roller's condition. The brush has short, stiff bristles. This design has proven itself effective for cleaning carpets. A fairly large suction hole is located behind the roller. The roller lock is located on the side and is easily removed by hand. No additional tools are required, which is a plus. Another interesting design feature is the comb behind the brush. It helps detangle hair and fur from the roller as it rotates.
Let's take a closer look at the additional attachments. A mini turbo brush is included for cleaning upholstery. It effectively removes dust from sofas and mattresses. The crevice tool is equipped with an LED light, allowing for more thorough cleaning in dimly lit areas. The attachments include a retractable bristle brush and a standard soft bristle brush.
The wall mount is also worth considering. It allows you to charge the vacuum cleaner without directly connecting it to the charger, which is very convenient. It also allows you to store the included attachments.
And that's not all. There's a cover on the top that can be removed to install an additional charging module for a spare battery. It's sold separately. This allows you to charge two batteries simultaneously, extending the Dreame T30's runtime. Perfect for cleaning large areas.
All attachments are equipped with mechanical locks. Assembly of the vacuum cleaner is quick and easy.
There are only two design issues: there's no backlight in the main nozzle, and there's no vertical parking feature outside the holder. But overall, the build quality and design are excellent. The vacuum cleaner is convenient, stylish, and its appearance matches its price range. Compared to the same Dreame V12 ProThis model has a removable battery and a removable dust collector, which significantly increases the ease of use.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the Dreame T30, as stated by the manufacturer, are displayed on the screen:
- Power consumption 550 W.
- Suction power up to 190 aW.
- Li-Ion battery 2900 mAh.
- Dust collector 600 ml.
- Operating time up to 90 min.
- Noise level 72.5-83 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.66 kg.
I personally tested the noise level and found it to be between 72.5 and 83 dB, depending on the selected power level. Considering the high power, the noise level is quite acceptable.
As for weight, the main unit weighs 1,753 grams, the extension tube weighs 203 grams, and the main nozzle weighs 786 grams. The complete vacuum weighs 2,742 grams. This is a fairly standard weight for an upright vacuum. The center of gravity is strategically positioned low, preventing hand fatigue during use.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Dreame T30, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the Dreame T30's battery life in Turbo mode with the main nozzle attached. It managed to run for 12 minutes and 37 seconds, while the manufacturer claims only 7.5 minutes. This runtime is on par with most similar devices. I'd also like to point out that you can purchase an additional battery and charge it simultaneously with the vacuum cleaner on a wall mount, doubling the runtime. Also, in Standard mode, the battery lasts for approximately 35 minutes of use, while in ECO mode, the runtime increases to 90 minutes. This is important to consider.
Suction power
As for suction power, even in Eco mode, the Dreame T30 was able to suck up debris from a 10 mm gap. So, it's certainly a powerful upright vacuum. You might not need to use Turbo mode; the medium power setting is more than enough for cleaning.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well the Dreame T30 picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This machine performed well. It's important to note that it has no trouble picking up debris along baseboards and in corners. It picks everything up thoroughly. The roller barely picks up any hair or fur. All debris is collected in the dust bin.
Carpet cleaning
The same debris was scattered on the carpet and the Dreame T30 did an equally good job, thoroughly cleaning the carpet.
Using additional attachments
It's also worth noting that the complete kit allows you to clean a sofa, areas beyond the reach of the main nozzle, and even the inside of a car. And thanks to the flexible connector, you can even clean under low furniture. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll tell you how to clean the dust bin. Press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. Hair and fur can get stuck in the bin. In this case, you can completely remove the dust bin, remove the filtration system, and empty the bin completely. Very convenient.
Personal opinion
The Dreame T30 cordless vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. Like all Dreame products, it left a largely positive impression. Based on my experience with it and testing it, I can highlight the following pros and cons.
I liked the following:
- High suction power.
- High-quality waste collection on any surface.
- Automatic power increase function.
- Informative display on the body.
- Stylish design.
- Ergonomic design.
- Removable battery.
- Very high quality assembly.
- Complete set of attachments.
- Good filtration system.
Speaking of drawbacks, there are more comments about the vacuum cleaner than serious drawbacks. Namely:
- No vertical parking.
- There is no backlight in the main nozzle.
Overall, the Dreame T30 left mostly positive reviews. Its appearance is very appealing, and its build quality is also impressive. This applies not only to the vacuum itself but also to all the included attachments. The main attachment has no blind spots and does an excellent job of picking up debris, so I have no reason not to recommend it. Definitely one of the best upright vacuums for the money!
If you'd like me to compare the Dreame T30 with its sister model, the Dreame V12 Pro, please let me know in the comments. There are differences, and in my opinion, they're significant.
On this note, I'd like to end this review. Happy shopping. Bye!

Thanks for the review.
The comparison is very interesting, because I’m choosing between the T30 and the v12pro.
Accepted, I'm putting it into work) Many people responded that the comparison would be interesting.
Are there any dust collectors with air blowing out, like the Vikhr used to be?
I met her
Good afternoon, please advise on the criteria:
1) Backlight on the main brush (for cleaning under furniture where the robot can’t fit)
2) Turbo brush for furniture (for collecting dog hair)
3) Charging at the station
4) Disassemblable, washable, easy-to-dispose waste container
Which vacuum cleaner would you recommend?
Runtime and high power aren't particularly necessary, there are no carpets, and it's purchased as a companion to a robot, more for spot cleaning in hard-to-reach places and for removing hair from a sofa.
Could you please tell me if the attachments from other Dream models are compatible? Is it possible to use the main attachment with the backlight while maintaining automatic mode, and which model is it compatible with?
