Dreame Bot D10s Pro: High power, object recognition, silicone brush

The new robot vacuum cleaner called Dreame Bot D10s Pro is an improved version Dreame Bot D10s, which was previously reviewed. The main difference is the presence of an active camera for recognizing objects on the floor and remotely monitoring the home. Otherwise, the robot's design and specifications are identical: suction power up to 5000 Pa, lidar for navigation, a silicone turbo brush, and a wet cleaning function. For these features, you'll have to pay between $295 and $375, or $360 to $460 at the exchange rate at the time of writing. So, I thoroughly tested the Dreame Bot D10s Pro, after which I discussed the model's pros and cons and expressed my opinion on whether this robot vacuum is worth buying. Let's get to the review!
Equipment
Let's start with the package contents. The Dreame Bot D10s Pro arrived in this branded box:
The package includes:
- Charging base.
- Power adapter.
- Wet cleaning nozzle with a cloth installed.
- Documentation for the robot with translation into Russian.
The package is standard. There are no spare accessories.
Appearance
Let's take a look at the Dreame Bot D10s Pro. The robot vacuum cleaner comes in black. The top cover is glossy, which isn't very practical. Surprisingly, the bumper lacks a side wall sensor. However, in the center, we see a camera for object detection and remote home monitoring. The technology is called AI Action.
A similar camera is equipped Dreame Bot L10s Ultra And Dreame Bot W10 Pro, which were previously reviewed. There are no 3D sensors on the sides of the camera. The case height is 97 mm.
Three mechanical buttons are located on the top control panel. A lidar sensor controls navigation and is equipped with a spring-loaded cover to prevent the robot from getting stuck under furniture. The dust container is located under the top cover. A cleaning tool is conveniently stored nearby. Both the container and the HEPA filter are washable. The filtration system is dual, with a HEPA filter and a mesh filter. The container holds up to 570 ml of dry waste.
A wet cleaning attachment like this one is attached to the bottom of the robot. The tank is equipped with a pump for electronically controlling the water flow. The tank capacity is 235 ml. The cleaning cloth is attached using Velcro and pockets. The traditional groove has been removed.
The robot has four fall protection sensors on the bottom, but surprisingly, there's no carpet sensor. It has a single, three-beam, quick-release side brush. The central brush unit is floating, which is a plus. The turbo brush itself is silicone and can be removed on both sides to remove tangled hair and pet hair, which is very convenient.
Ultimately, we see that many sensors have been omitted, presumably to reduce the robot's cost. It's not a deal-breaker, but it does make you wonder at what price this robot is worth, something we'll discuss at the end of the review.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the Dreame Bot D10s Pro, as stated by the manufacturer:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
- Suction power up to 5000 Pa.
- Operating time up to 280 min.
- Cleaning area up to 250 sq.m.
- Dust collector capacity is 570 ml.
- Water tank capacity is 235 ml.
- Obstacle clearance up to 20 mm.
- Dimensions: 350*97 mm.
- Weight: 3.7 kg.
There are no differences from the younger Dreame Bot D10s model, and at the same time, the specifications are quite standard for this price segment. The only interesting feature is the increased suction power, which will be verified in tests.
Functional capabilities
Speaking of features, the Dreame Bot D10s Pro is controlled via the Dreamehome app. I was able to connect on the second try; for some reason, an error occurred the first time. Regardless, connection is simple. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, which are in Russian.
The main functions of the robot vacuum cleaner are displayed on the screen:
- Saving multiple cleaning maps in memory.
- Recognizing objects on the floor.
- Remote connection to a home surveillance camera.
- Automatic zoning of premises into rooms.
- Selecting areas and rooms for cleaning.
- Virtual walls and no-go zones (and for wet cleaning mode).
- Suction power adjustment.
- Adjusting the water supply level.
- User mode.
- Cleaning log.
- Setting up cleaning according to a schedule.
- Voice notifications in Russian.
- Automatic power increase on carpet.
- Yandex.Alice support.
The only feature that's worth highlighting is the remote home monitoring feature. The image is transmitted in high quality, allowing you to select the robot's movement points, control it manually, take photos, and even record video. You can also set up a so-called guard mode, which allows the robot to enter specific rooms and take photos from all angles. You can even use the robot to broadcast audio, akin to video conferencing. Overall, it's a useful solution that expands the capabilities and scope of your robot vacuum cleaner.
And, of course, all the basic features for flexible customization of cleaning parameters are implemented.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Dreame Bot D10s Pro, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Navigation
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll test the Dreame Bot D10s Pro's navigation in a room with obstacles. The robot vacuum first moves around the perimeter of the room, then cleans the entire accessible area in a serpentine pattern. The dryer's legs presented no particular problems. It also swept around the box and chair legs separately, then returned to the station. The test was successful.
Speaking of navigation within the home, the Dreame Bot D10s Pro cleans room by room, first along the perimeter, then in a serpentine pattern. There are no uncleaned areas, the cleaning speed is high, and this model has excellent navigation!
Object recognition
The object recognition function was tested separately. In good lighting, the Dreame Bot D10s Pro correctly identified four out of six objects, displaying them with corresponding icons on the map. It only failed to identify a toy and a dummy pet surprise that it ran over. However, most AI-powered robots struggle with the latter trap, and given its presence, it's likely that the algorithm will soon be refined and the object database expanded.
However, in complete darkness, the object recognition system becomes blind, as it lacks a backlight like the flagship Dreame Bot X10 Pro, nor at least 3D sensors on the sides whose effectiveness is independent of ambient lighting. This is important to consider.
Suction power
In terms of suction power, the Dreame Bot D10s Pro impressed. It was able to suck up debris from crevices up to 10 mm deep. This is a very good result. For example, the smaller Dreame Bot D10s model achieved a suction power of 6 mm, while the 2022 flagship Dreame Bot L10s Ultra achieved a suction power of 4 mm. So, the Dreame Bot D10s Pro is definitely a powerful robot vacuum.
Dry cleaning
The collection performance of various types of debris on laminate floors is good. Only a small amount of debris remains in the corners, where round robotic vacuums can't reach. We can see that some debris is wrapped around the side brush, while the center brush is clean. The majority of the debris is collected in the dust bin. Test passed!
Carpet cleaning
Speaking of carpet cleaning, the silicone brush is less effective on medium-pile carpets than a regular bristle brush. However, after the test, the carpet was clean, with only a few clumps of hair stuck in the pile. I think the robot vacuum did a good job!
Wet cleaning
The Dreame Bot D10s Pro handled light dirt and grime removal effectively. Only a narrow, unwashed area along the baseboard remained, a weak point of all the robots reviewed.
It's also worth noting that the Dreame Bot D10s Pro can vacuum and mop simultaneously, which is a plus. However, the mop doesn't press very hard and the water flow isn't particularly generous, making this robot more suited to gentle, wet cleaning.
Wet cleaning and carpets
Regarding wet cleaning on carpets, the Dreame Bot D10s Pro does not detect carpets and therefore does not automatically avoid them when the cleaning cloth is attached. It's worth noting that the suction power increases when the cleaning cloth is attached. In any case, you can protect carpets from getting wet by setting no-go zones for wet cleaning.
Obstacle clearance
The robot vacuum cleaner easily navigates 2 cm high thresholds. That's a plus!
Driving on black surfaces
However, the robot vacuum cleaner is sensitive to black carpets due to their height differences. This is not ideal and is important to consider when choosing a model. However, it's important to note that this issue only occurs with black carpets. The robot is not sensitive to black hard surfaces.
Noise level
As for the noise level, it ranges from 56.5 to 63.5 dB, depending on the power level selected. I can say that this is a truly quiet robot vacuum cleaner, yet quite powerful. In fact, it's more powerful and quieter than the Dreame Bot D10s, although its design is visually identical.
Personal opinion
Dreame Bot D10s Pro has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. our evaluation system he managed to gain 140 pointsThe result is good considering the price. For comparison, Dreame Bot L10s Pro scored 138 points, while Dreame Bot D10s only scored 119.
Overall rating of tested robot vacuum cleaners: https://robovac.washerhouse.com/en/rejtingi/robovac-obshhij-rejting-robotov-pylesosov-robo.html.
First, I'll highlight the pros and cons of the Dreame Bot D10s Pro, then I'll share my personal opinion. I liked the following:
- An object recognition system that works correctly in good lighting conditions.
- Remote home monitoring function via robot camera.
- High suction power.
- The updated brush removes hair and fur better.
- The robot vacuum cleaner is capable of vacuuming and mopping the floor at the same time.
- High-quality dry and wet cleaning.
- Control via your own Dreamehome app.
- A large number of functions for flexible adjustment of cleaning parameters.
- Low noise level.
- Good cross-country ability.
- Yandex.Alice support.
- Complete Russification.
- A full warranty and service are available when purchasing from distributors in the Russian Federation.
Speaking about the shortcomings, I had the following comments about the robot:
- The robot vacuum cleaner is afraid of black surfaces.
- There is no wall sensor or carpet sensor.
- The object recognition system goes blind in the dark.
Overall, I think this $300 robot vacuum is truly interesting and competitive. It's powerful, smart, neat, and functional. Given the lack of a carpet sensor and the ability to lift the cleaning cloth when driving onto carpets, I'd recommend this model primarily for cleaning hard floors. However, it's also suitable for dry cleaning, thanks to its very powerful suction. If the price is approaching $400, you'll need to weigh the pros and cons against similar models.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!

Good afternoon! Thank you for your work!
Will the Dreame Bot D10s Pro vacuum if the water and cloth units aren't installed? Or will it display an error?
Comparing with L10s pro Which one is better?
Does the lack of a wall sensor affect the cleaning accuracy?
I'm not quite sure how to connect it to Alexa. The settings only allow Alexa and Google Home. Please help.
Hello! Will there be a comparison of the Dreame D10s, D10s Pro, L10 Pro, and L10s Pro? Perhaps you could also include the D9 Pro and B9 Max, as I understand they outperform the D10s based on another comparison review? I'm also interested in the interchangeability of components. For example, it was mentioned that the L10s Pro can be equipped with the Mijia OMNI B101CN bristle-petal central brush. Can other models that come with a silicone brush be equipped with a bristle brush instead?
I would also like your opinion on which of the named models should I choose for my conditions?
50 sq. m., some furry animals, carpets of varying textures almost everywhere. Black colors are present on one. If there's a way to disable the anti-black feature or cover the sensor, perhaps a model would be a winner. Self-cleaning stations aren't of interest, as the space is limited. Possibly one that works in low light. The brush is predominantly bristle, but again, it's worthwhile to swap out the silicone brush for a bristle one; perhaps another model would be superior to the others.
Good afternoon. Given the $100 price difference, which is better to buy: the Dreame Bot L10s Pro or the Dreame Bot D10s Pro?
Cleaning 50 sq m, daytime only, carpet (2 cm pile). Floor cleaning is unlikely to be necessary.
Is it worth paying extra? Judging by your reviews, $100 is definitely not worth it.
As far as I understand, the D10s Pro already uses a camera for recognition, but the L10s Pro doesn’t have one, it’s just a sensor?
Hello! Could you please tell me the Dreame D10s Pro versus the Roborock Q8 Max? Which vacuum cleaner is better for cleaning a 70 sq. m apartment, mostly on hard floors?
I think roborock q8 max!
