It's important to note that for a device made in China, it boasts a well-designed appearance, high-quality assembly and accessories, and impressive specifications and features. In addition to highly effective dry cleaning of all types of flooring, the device can also perform wet cleaning without leaving wet streaks, thoroughly cleaning and refreshing your floors. Equipment
The Liectroux X5S robot vacuum cleaner comes packaged in a large rectangular cardboard box with a plastic handle, featuring a detailed image of the device in all its glory. Appearance

The display shows battery charge status, Wi-Fi network status, schedule information, time, error codes, and operating mode.

Functional capabilities
The robot vacuum cleaner can clean a room in several operating modes:
- Automatic ("Zigzag"): When this mode is activated, the Liectroux X5S robot vacuum cleaner uses an algorithm to calculate the optimal cleaning pattern (thanks to the built-in navigation system), starting with a zigzag pattern until it reaches the most effective cleaning pattern. This mode is activated by pressing the "Auto" button on the robot body, or remotely using the remote control or smartphone.
- Spot cleaning: designed for cleaning a specific area of a small room. To activate it, manually move the robot vacuum to the desired location and press the "Spot" button on the body, or remotely by pressing the corresponding button on the remote control or using your smartphone.
- Cleaning along edges (walls): to activate, place the Liectroux X5S against the wall and press the "Edge" button on the remote control or start it from your smartphone.
- FULL GO Cleaning: When the device is turned on, in one of its modes, or when recharging, you can press the "FULL GO" button remotely. This will enable this mode, which will allow the device to start cleaning automatically after charging is complete.
Operation of sensors
You can set a cleaning schedule according to your preferences. Once set, the Liectroux X5S will clean according to the specified schedule and return to the docking station when finished.
The robot vacuum cleaner can be controlled manually using the remote control, or using the Tuya Smart mobile app via a Wi-Fi network, after setting it up first.
Controlling the robot via a mobile app
The robot is designed for full-featured wet mopping of hard floors. For this purpose, the components include a separate hybrid reservoir, consisting of a compartment for the cleaning fluid itself and a compartment for collecting solid debris. A microfiber mop is attached to this reservoir, which is evenly moistened with the cleaning fluid throughout the entire cleaning process.

The manual included with the Liectroux X5S allows you to learn more about the operation and maintenance of the robot vacuum cleaner, as well as its key features and functions. However, the manufacturer's instructions are in English, which presents some challenges.

Advantages and disadvantages
Despite the fact that the robot vacuum cleaner is in the budget price category, it has quite a number of advantages:

Liectroux X5S Disadvantages:
- Lack of motion limiter.
- Stops far from walls, avoiding collisions with them, so debris near baseboards may not be completely removed.
- There is no instruction manual in Russian in the vacuum cleaner box, however, it can be easily found on the Internet.
As you can see, the drawbacks are quite acceptable, considering the average price of this model in 2018 was only $135. It's also worth noting that this robot vacuum's twin, the Panda X5S, costs a whopping $300 with similar features and specifications, so why pay more? Overall, the Liectroux model is quite good, and at its budget price, it's even one of the best options among Chinese robot vacuums.
