Rekam RVC-1555B: A Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Just $50

Today we're reviewing the Rekam RVC-1555B, a budget-friendly robotic vacuum cleaner for wet and dry floor cleaning. The robot costs around $50. For this price, the manufacturer offers users automatic cleaning, helping to promptly remove small debris and dust. The vacuum cleaner's compact dimensions allow it to reach hard-to-reach places and clean under furniture (it's only 6 cm high). Additionally, it features a damp microfiber cloth attached to a special pad on the bottom of the robotic vacuum cleaner, allowing you to wipe smooth floors. Let's take a closer look at the features of the Rekam RVC-1555B.

As mentioned in the review above, the robot is designed for both dry and wet cleaning. Although it would be more accurate to say not for wet cleaning, but for wiping the floor with a pre-moistened microfiber cloth. The Rekam RVC-1555B can perform dry cleaning on any smooth floor surface. The device is equipped with two round side brushes that sweep collected debris toward the suction port. The elongated design of the brushes allows you to collect debris even along walls and in corners. The suction channel directs debris into the 350-milliliter dust container with a cleaning filter. The dust container is small, so it will need to be emptied fairly frequently. The manufacturer decided not to install a turbo brush.
When the battery runs low, the user will need to charge the robot vacuum cleaner manually by connecting it to the power outlet using the power adapter. A charging dock is not included.
Control is only possible directly from the Rekam RVC-1555B robot body; neither an infrared remote control nor a mobile application for a smartphone is provided.
