The Best Robot Vacuum Cleaners of 2022: Clean Your Floors Effectively

This rating reviews the best robotic vacuum cleaners for the home in 2022. Unlike the usual robots for dry and wet cleaningUnlike robotic mopping machines, robotic vacuum cleaners boast truly effective floor cleaning. They don't simply pick up dust and debris with a damp cloth; they can also rinse floors with clean water or at least with clean cloths that are periodically rinsed at a special station during the cleaning process. Our ranking of the best robotic vacuum cleaners will help you choose the best option for your needs and budget. So, let's get started!
Roidmi EVA
Our rating opens with the new Roidmi EVA robot vacuum cleaner, which is already on sale and costs around $900-$1000 at the time of writing.
The robot is equipped with a combined station for emptying debris and rinsing the wipes during cleaning. The cleaning module itself consists of a side and central brush, working in tandem with two rotating round wipes. These wipes effectively remove dirt and effectively clean the floor. Moreover, during a single cleaning cycle, the robot can visit the station several times to rinse the wipes with clean water, allowing for high-quality cleaning of large floors.
Other features of the model include lidar navigation, an object recognition system on the mechanical bumper, and a wide range of features in the proprietary mobile app for flexible cleaning settings. If you're looking for a functional robot vacuum cleaner that can also perform dry cleaning, I highly recommend this device.
Dreame Bot W10
The rating continues with another new product called Dreame Bot W10This robot vacuum cleaner has already been reviewed and proven that it can rightfully be considered a cleaning robot, not just a floor polisher.
The cleaning module, like Roidmi's, features two rotating microfiber cloths, as well as a central and side brush. The robot also features a dedicated station for rinsing the cloths during cleaning, but this station does not automatically clean the dust bin. Lidar is used for navigation, and the robot's body shape and side brush placement allow it to better sweep debris into corners. The proprietary mobile app allows you to customize cleaning parameters and the frequency of cloth rinsing at the station.
During testing, the robot demonstrated excellent dry and wet cleaning performance, even effectively cleaning a stand of slightly dried-on dirt. It's also worth noting that the robot also performs well in dry cleaning thanks to its increased suction power. This model is definitely worth considering and can be considered as a robotic vacuum cleaner for cleaning large areas. The price was approximately $1,000 at the time of writing.
Xiaomi Smartmi Pioneer A1
The bronze winner of our ranking is another new robot vacuum cleaner from a Xiaomi sub-brand. The model is called Smartmi Pioneer A1.
Unlike its predecessors, this robot vacuum cleaner can self-clean while mopping, without having to enter a station. This is possible because the robot is equipped with separate tanks for clean and dirty water. During cleaning, clean water flows onto a rotating roller, which is the robot's main cleaning module, after which dirty water is collected in a dedicated dirty water tank. While not a unique solution, it is highly effective and one of the most optimal options for robotic floor cleaning.
There are only two reasons why this robot didn't take the top spot in the rankings. The first is that its design doesn't allow it to thoroughly clean the area along baseboards. A narrow, unwashed strip along the baseboard will still remain, just like with other robots. The second is the lack of a side brush, which causes debris to remain in corners. Therefore, while this robot is effective at mopping floors, it can't handle a full cleaning on its own. Ideally, it would be used in tandem with a vacuum cleaner. robot vacuum cleaner for dry cleaningOther features worth highlighting include lidar navigation, automatic charging at a station, and control via a proprietary mobile app, which offers a wide range of functions. The price, however, is much lower—around $550 at the time of writing.
Xiaomi All-in-One Mop and Vacuum Robot
The next robotic vacuum cleaner from Xiaomi that deserves attention is called Xiaomi All-in-One Mop and Vacuum Robot.
It's similar to the Roidmi EVA in many ways: it comes with a combined self-cleaning and rinsing station, a lidar system for navigation, a floor recognition system mounted on the front bumper, and a cleaning module consisting of a central and side brushes working in tandem with two rotating microfiber cloths. These actually clean the floor. An additional feature of this model is that the cloths automatically lift when entering carpets. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop simultaneously, leaving carpets dry and clean.
The robot vacuum cleaner is controlled via a proprietary mobile app, which offers a wide range of features for flexible cleaning settings. The only caveat to this otherwise perfect picture is that this model is currently designed for the Chinese market, so the app interface is expected to be in English, and the product itself may experience some lag, as is typical of Xiaomi robot vacuums marketed in China. Otherwise, the robot is quite attractive, and at a price of $950-$1,000, it could be considered for simultaneous dust collection and floor cleaning over large areas.
Ecovacs Deebot X1 OMNI
Ecovacs, a well-known company that specializes in household cleaning robots, has also released a rather interesting robot vacuum cleaner for floor cleaning and dry mopping. The model is called Ecovacs Deebot X1 OMNI.
The robot is equipped with a combined self-cleaning and rinsing station, a lidar sensor, and a camera for floor recognition and remote home monitoring. The cleaning module consists of two side brushes and a central brush, behind which are two rotating discs with microfiber cloths. Overall, the robot is comparable to similar robots in terms of floor cleaning and dry mopping. The Deebot X1 OMNI is controlled via a proprietary mobile app, allowing you to conveniently customize cleaning parameters for each room. Good build quality and the brand's high reliability are significant advantages of this model, but it is also significantly more expensive compared to similar models.
Currently, the robot with a combination station costs around $1,400. You can save money and choose the same robot vacuum cleaner with a wipe rinsing station. This version, called the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Turbo, costs around $1,100. In 2022, another mopping robot vacuum cleaner from Ecovacs, the ECOVACS DEEBOT T10 Turbo, hit the market. It costs around $850 and also comes with a wipe rinsing station. One of these options is worth considering and is deservedly considered a mopping robot vacuum cleaner.
Xiaomi Mijia Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum-Mop Pro
Well, the last of the Xiaomi line of robot vacuum cleaners that I would like to recommend is called Xiaomi Mijia Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum-Mop Pro.
It's essentially a twin of the Dreame Bot W10, with minor visual changes to the station and the robot itself. This device cleans floors just as well, is also equipped with lidar for navigation, a rinsing station, and has the same cleaning module: a side and center brush and two rotating microfiber cloths. However, the main difference between the Xiaomi Mijia Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum-Mop Pro is that it's slightly less powerful, and most importantly, its app functionality.
Firstly, the robot is designed for the Chinese market, and accordingly, the interface is in English. Russian voice notifications are not supported, and the app has some issues with freezing. Secondly, the Dreame allows for more flexible adjustments to the rinsing frequency and other cleaning parameters. But the Xiaomi has an undeniable advantage: its price is significantly lower. This robot vacuum cleaner can be ordered for just $550. And considering that the floor cleaning performance is roughly the same, the savings may be worth it.
iLIFE W450
And finally, our rating of the best robotic vacuum cleaners of 2022 is closed by the most budget-friendly device called iLIFE W450.
It's worth noting right away that this robot costs between $2.50 and $3.00. This model has gained popularity not only due to its reasonable price but also due to its cleaning module. The floor cleaning system first sprays water onto the floor through special nozzles, then a rapidly rotating roller scrubs away dirt, after which the dirty water is transferred to the dirty water tank by a squeegee and suction. As a result, in just a few passes, the robot is able to remove all dirt from the floor without leaving streaks.
The iLIFE W450's camera is used for navigation, allowing the robot to create a real-time map of the room. However, the map isn't stored in memory, and the robot vacuum must be manually placed on the charging platform. Control is via a remote control and a mobile app. Other notable features include the iLIFE W450's relatively tall height (almost 12 cm), no ability to limit cleaning zones, and no side brushes. Therefore, cleaning performance along walls, even of dry debris, isn't very good. Overall, this model has many nuances, but the fact remains: it's a good mopping robot vacuum for the home, and I think it's ideal for cleaning kitchen floors, hallways (where there may be heavy foot traffic), or, for example, retail spaces with tiled floors. It can also be effectively used in tandem with a robot vacuum for a comprehensive dry and wet cleaning.

Was there a review of the Smartmi A1?
The Xiaomi All-in-One Mop and Vacuum Robot is currently working at home. It cleans perfectly. The app is in Russian, and all functions are active. It only speaks Chinese or English; Russian will be added later.
I got the same model; it arrived the other day. It works great, and the app is in Russian. It speaks English, but whatever, all the important messages are duplicated in the app.
Where did you buy the Xiaomi All-in-One? I can't find it anywhere online.
Good afternoon
My apartment is 95 square meters, with a 50/50 laminate and tile flooring. High-quality wet cleaning is important, and I'm considering the Midea M7 Pro. What can you recommend, or are there any alternatives from Xiaomi, Dream, or Roborock? We don't have many other brands.
Hobot Legee 7 or D7.
Hello. Thank you for the website. Could you please recommend some robotic vacuum cleaners with wet cleaning? My initial parameters: 140 sq. m. cleaning area, tile/laminate floor, no thresholds, a couple of low rugs, and pets: a fluffy cat that comes in occasionally.
My wish list: rotating or at least vibrating mops, a docking station with a mop rinse and a waste and water disposal system; silicone brushes (I understand they're trendy now, they're easier to clean; on the first Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner, it's really hard to remove hair from the main brush); high-quality navigation with the ability to customize settings via the app, like "wash here, don't go there"; I haven't yet decided whether a camera is necessary.
Budget up to 70k. Thanks in advance)
I think it's worth waiting for the new Dreame Bot S10) or Mijia OMNI is already on sale)
Can you recommend a robot vacuum cleaner? My apartment is 70 square meters. It has good wet cleaning. There are no carpets. I'd like one with more autonomy (less frequent maintenance, emptying trash, and changing the water). The floors are mostly laminate.
Ecovcas X1 Omni, Mijia OMNI B101CN, Lydsto W2.
Please tell me the difference between the Deebot X1 Turbo and the X1 Omni. I also chose the Roidmi Eva based on your article, but the Roidmi Eve Plus is sold everywhere. I don't understand if they're the same robot or different ones. I'd be very grateful for an answer.
Turbo only rinses the wipes, while OMNI also self-cleans. Eve Plus and EVA are completely different models.
Eva isn't sold in Russia. Is it only available through AliExpress? What's the difference between the Roidmi Eva and the Xiaomi All-in-One Mop and Vacuum Robot?
Hello! After reading reviews, I'm even more confused. Could you please recommend a vacuum cleaner based on these parameters?
Excellent wet and dry cleaning, carpets, wool
Station for washing and drying rags
Low costs for additional purchases
Self-cleaning without a bag
The budget is preferably up to 75
Thanks in advance
