The Best Robot Vacuums of 2025: Top 10 + Comparison! Which robot vacuum should you choose in 2025?

Hello to all readers of this project! I've finally tested all the flagship robot vacuum cleaners officially sold on the market and compiled a ranking of the best ones, as of July 2025. The top 10 includes models from the most popular brands. A brief overview of the characteristics and features, as well as a comparison table of key parameters and test results, will help you choose the best option for your needs and budget. So, let's get started!
Xiaomi Mijia M40s
Important features:
- Price: $350-$500.
- Suction power: up to 23,000 Pa
- Lidar entry into the body
- Identifying objects on the floor
- Washing napkins with hot water
- Drying napkins with warm air
- Sweeps out trash from corners
- The napkin extends to the edge
- Turbo brush with knives
The ranking will be built from the honorable tenth place to the leader, and it is in tenth place that the Xiaomi flagship as of July 2025 – a robot vacuum cleaner – is located. Xiaomi Mijia M40sThe price of the new product is the most affordable of the top 10 and ranges from $350 to $500.
The robot's key feature is its retractable lidar, allowing the robot to be less than 9 cm tall when in use. In addition to the lidar, the robot navigates its surroundings using an object detection system on its bumper. The cleaning module features an updated side brush that extends into corners, a central turbo brush with blades, and two round cleaning pads. Lifting and edge-accessibility features are also implemented.
The Xiaomi Mijia M40s station self-cleans the dust bin, washes cloths with hot water, and dries with warm air. There's no automatic detergent mixing. Regarding plumbing, the standard station doesn't support this module, but the robot is also sold in a new built-in version, which can be connected to utility lines. In tests, the Xiaomi Mijia M40s demonstrated high power, which, according to the brand, reaches a market-leading 23,000 Pa. Furthermore, the robot efficiently collects debris on various surfaces and cleans large floors well. The object recognition system is poorly implemented, and there are some issues with cleaning under low furniture. Again, a detailed review will help you explore these details, but for the price, it's clearly unrivaled.
The previously released Xiaomi Mijia M40 could also be an alternative to the M40s in tenth place. It scored higher in the overall ranking and has its advantages over the new model. However, the M40s is more affordable, comes with an increasingly popular built-in docking station, and features the trendy lidar-in-body feature. In my opinion, these advantages are still more compelling for 2025.
Midea VCR V15 Pro Ultra

Midea's flagship robot vacuum cleaner is in ninth place. Midea VCR V15 Pro UltraIts price at the time of rating preparation is in the range of $600-$800.
For this price, the robot is equipped with a lidar system with a floor recognition system, which, incidentally, is equipped with a backlight. The claimed suction power reaches 16,200 Pa. The cleaning module consists of a standard side and center brush, as well as two round cleaning pads. One of the pads extends to the edge, and both pads can be raised on carpets. Blades are installed behind the turbo brush for automatic hair and fur removal.

3i P10 Ultra

- Price: $650-$900.
- Suction power: up to 18,000 Pa
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight

- The napkin extends to the edge
- Blades in the hair cutting station
- Full warranty and service
Ninth place was taken by a robot vacuum cleaner from a new brand on the market – 3i P10 UltraIt can be purchased for $650-$900.
Navigation is handled by a lidar system with an object recognition system and backlight. There's even a remote home monitoring mode via the robot's camera. The cleaning module is familiar—it features a standard side and center brush, as well as two round cleaning pads. The pads lift and extend to the edge of the unit. The claimed suction power is also impressive, reaching 18,000 Pa.
The station is fully loaded by 2025 standards. It features automatic detergent mixing, water heating, warm air drying, self-cleaning, and even connection to the sewer and water supply. In 3i tests, the P10 Ultra demonstrated one of the best object recognition results ever in the project's history. The robot also effectively removes stains from floors, vacuums well on various surfaces, and can even self-clean its turbo brush of hair and pet hair thanks to the station's built-in blades. There are some caveats, but nothing critical. For the price, it's a very attractive option if precise floor tracking is important to you and your budget is limited.
Ecovacs Deebot X8 PRO Omni
Important features:
- Price: $650-$800.
- Suction power: up to 18,000 Pa
- Floor cleaning roller
- Identifying objects on the floor
- Remote home monitoring
- Rinsing the roller with hot water
- Drying the roller with warm air
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- Sweeps out trash from corners
- The roller skater reaches the edge
- Full warranty and service
A lucky seventh place goes to the Ecovacs Deebot X8 PRO Omni. It can be ordered for approximately $650-$800. This particular global version wasn't included in the review, but there was a Chinese version of the same device called Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Plus AI.
The robot's key feature is its floor cleaning roller, similar to that of upright vacuum cleaners. This allows the device to effectively clean large areas, self-cleaning the roller not only at the cleaning station but also during cleaning. Furthermore, the roller extends to the edge of the floor and rises up on carpets. In addition to the roller, the X8 PRO Omni boasts a retractable side brush for sweeping debris out of corners and a central brush designed to reduce the accumulation of pet hair. The robot's power output is rated at 18,000 Pa. Navigation is handled by a lidar system and a floor detection system.
It's serviced by an all-in-one station. It has everything you'd expect from a flagship: hot water washing, warm air drying, automatic detergent mixing, a self-emptying dust container, and automatic wastewater pumping from the robot's tank. The high station doesn't connect to the sewer system. There should be a separate station for this purpose, which I haven't seen for sale in the global version. The Chinese version does. In Ecovacs tests, the Deebot X8 PRO Omni performed average in object recognition, power measurement, and stain removal. However, I have no complaints about its dry cleaning performance on various surfaces. Overall, if you're interested in a floor roller, you might want to consider this model, but only after reviewing all the details in the review, the link to which is included in the video description.
Roborock S9 MaxV Ultra
Important features:
- Price: $1,100-$1,400.

- Lidar entry into the body
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight
- Remote home monitoring
- Washing a napkin with hot water
- Drying the napkin with warm air
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- Sweeps out trash from corners
- Washing the floor close to the baseboard
- The turbo brush doesn't wind the hair.
- Passability of thresholds up to 40 mm high
- Full warranty and service
Sixth place goes to Roborock S9 MaxV Ultra, an alternative name for which is Roborock Saros 10. One of the three top new products from Roborock in 2025. Price from $110 to $1,400.
This robot's unique feature is that it cleans floors with a straight vibrating mop. This is a gentler wet cleaning option that leaves fewer streaks on the floor. In a separate video, I compared the roller, round mops, and this vibrating mop. It's worth checking out the review on the channel. Besides the vibrating mop, this robot vacuum boasts a claimed suction power of 22,000 Pa, a retractable lidar system that allows it to clean under furniture up to 8 cm high, and a precise object recognition system with a backlight and remote home monitoring function. The robot collects debris with a retractable side brush and a central turbo brush, the design of which prevents pet hair from tangling even in difficult conditions. Its ability to overcome thresholds up to 4 cm high deserves special mention.
The station boasts all the latest features and heating. The only thing missing is the option to connect it to a sewer or water supply. In tests, the Roborock S9 MaxV Ultra demonstrated slightly increased power and high-quality cleaning on various surfaces. I believe it's the ideal option for cleaning wood surfaces that are sensitive to excess moisture.
Roborock Saros 10R

- The turbo brush doesn't wind the hair.

Another Roborock ranked fifth. This is Roborock Saros 10RThe robot is so similar to its S9 sibling that I even compared them separately on my channel to highlight the differences. The price is between $1,100 and $1,300.

4th place received Dreame X40 Ultra CompleteThis robot vacuum cleaner hit the market in August 2024 and still manages to seriously compete with its peers.
The fact is, its price has dropped to $800-$1,000. And for that price, the robot has all the advanced features: a precise object recognition system, a backlight, remote home monitoring, cleaning behind curtains, and an effective cleaning module, which we'll discuss in more detail. The Dreame X40 Ultra Complete collects debris using a retractable side brush and a silicone turbo brush. The latter can be replaced with a brush with built-in blades, which will self-clean from tangled hair and pet hair. Wet cleaning is implemented using two round cloths. The cloth can extend to the edge, scroll through narrow gaps, and lift up on carpets.
The station was already fully loaded in 2024. It has all the top features, including heating, detergent mixing, and a drain connection. In tests, the Dreame X40 Ultra Complete demonstrated exceptional suction power, even at the stated 12,000 Pa, as well as high-quality cleaning on various surfaces and a good floor cleaning performance. Overall, if you don't want to overpay for the new features of the X50 model, it makes sense to choose its equally effective predecessor.
Dreame L40s Pro Ultra Heat
Important features:
- Price: $800-$950.
- Suction power: up to 19,000 Pa
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight
- Remote home monitoring

- Full warranty and service
A new robot vacuum cleaner from Dreame, the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra Heat, has broken into the top three. A detailed review with tests will be published on the channel soon. The robot's launch price is approximately $800-$950.
For this price, the new model boasts 19,000 Pa of suction power, updated central brushes, and improved wheels for crossing thresholds up to 4 cm high. Navigation is handled by the familiar lidar system, working in tandem with an object recognition system. It also features a backlight and remote home monitoring. In addition to the new dual brushes, the robot collects debris with a retractable side brush. It cleans floors with two round rotating pads.
The Dreame L40s Pro Ultra Heat station washes cloths with hot water, dries with warm air, and automatically mixes in detergent. Of course, the dust bin is self-cleaning and the station can be connected to a sewer system. In tests, the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra Heat demonstrated increased power, high-quality dust collection on various surfaces, and the ability to remove stains faster than comparable robots. It's especially noteworthy that the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra Heat can clean behind curtains and drapes, unlike most other robots. The object avoidance system is also very well implemented. Overall, this is a slightly simplified flagship at a more affordable price, which is in no way inferior in cleaning quality to the more advanced X50 version.
Roborock Saros Z70
- Price: $1,800-$2,000.
- Mechanical hand for picking things up
- Suction power: up to 22,000 Pa
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight
- Remote home monitoring
- Washing napkins with hot water
- Drying napkins with warm air
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- Sweeps out trash from corners
- The napkin extends to the edge
- Turbo brush with knives
- Passability of thresholds up to 40 mm high
- Full warranty and service
Silver in this ranking goes to Roborock Saros Z70This is the most expensive member of the top 10. At the time of writing, the price was between $1,800 and $2,000.
The key is that this robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a mechanical lifting arm. With it, Roborock's flagship can automatically pick up items from the floor and transport them to pre-defined zones on a map. Slippers, socks, and trash—none of these will now interfere with the cleaning process. In addition to the robotic arm, the Roborock Saros Z70 features a powerful motor generating up to 22,000 Pa of suction, a slim 8 cm body, an object recognition system with backlighting, and an updated cleaning module. The robot picks up debris using a retractable side brush and a turbo brush with built-in blades, and mops the floor using two round cleaning pads. Edge mobility and carpet lifting—of course, this top-of-the-line model has it all.
The station is equipped with all the latest features, but it can't be connected to a sewer system, which is one of the compelling reasons for its second-place finish. The Roborock Saros Z70 performed well in tests, including its power, dry cleaning performance, and floor cleaning. If you have children, pets, and consequently, problems with things constantly being left behind, this robot will be a godsend!
Dreame X50 Ultra Complete/Master
- Price: $1,200-$1,400 / $1,400-$1,600

- Remote home monitoring
- Ultra-thin station in Master version
- Connection to sewerage and cold water supply
- Washing napkins with hot water
- Drying napkins with warm air
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- Sweeps out trash from corners
- Napkin exit with scrolling
- Two turbo brushes do not wind hair.
- Passability of thresholds up to 60 mm high

And the leader of the rating, the best robot vacuum cleaner of 2025 according to the project, as of July 2025, is the Dreame X50, which is sold in two versions: Ultra Complete for $1200-$1400 and Master for $1,400-$1,600. The flagship that was anticipated almost a year after the release of the X40 model.
The robot has several key features. The most important, in my opinion, is the Master version with its built-in station. Dreame was the first to market with an ultra-thin station for connection to sewer and water pipes.
Furthermore, the robot boasts the best maneuverability on the market: it claims to be able to navigate thresholds up to 6 cm high. And, equally important, the lidar retracts into the housing for cleaning under low furniture up to 9 cm high. Additionally, the robot boasts a powerful suction power of 20,000 Pa, a highly accurate object recognition system with backlighting, a curtain cleaning function, and a comprehensive set of accessories. The cleaning module includes a retractable side brush, two central brushes with anti-tangle protection, and two round cleaning cloths.
Each station is fully loaded with features. It features heating, a detergent dispenser, and self-cleaning. Both stations are connected to the sewer system, but the high station also allows you to use regular waste containers. In tests, the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete demonstrated strong suction power, excellent cleaning performance, and excellent floor cleaning. There were no criticisms, so it clearly took first place among the robots I tested, and there were nearly 200 of them in the test room.
By the way, one of the latest videos on the channel is a comparison of first and second place in the rankings - Dreame X50 Ultra Complete and Roborock Saros Z70If you're interested, check out this article, which details the differences between the flagships and competing brands.
